What I like best about Unanet GovCon is that it brings project accounting, time and expense, indirect rates, financials, and project performance together in one system. The project-based structure makes it easier to connect labor and costs to projects and contracts, while the reporting capabilities provide better visibility for FP&A and management. I also value the GovCon-specific compliance features and the ability to work with real-time data rather than relying heavily on spreadsheets and manual reconciliations. What I dislike about Unanet GovCon is that some processes can feel complex and require multiple steps, particularly when working with financial data, reporting, and configuration. The reporting and customization capabilities can also have a learning curve, and certain tasks may still require manual work or additional Excel-based analysis.
