**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

I love the freedom and support that UKG offers. I’ve used other software before, and none of them come close to the level of customization UKG provides. That flexibility has made it possible for our company to manage multiple component companies while still maintaining customized settings for each one.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

It’s difficult to find something to dislike. Whenever I run into an issue, customer service has been able to provide a solution. If I had to point to anything, it would be around ideas and suggestions. I understand it isn’t always easy to implement the great ideas suggested by end users, but I’d like to see those improvements rolled out a little more quickly.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, UKG Pro is helping me roll out the UKG Wallet. This will help our staff get paid in a timely manner. Our current vendor has dropped the ball on several occasions, so I’m looking forward to having a more reliable process in place.

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

I like best how comprehensive it is. Once everything is set up correctly, it’s nice having recruiting (ATS), employee records, onboarding, payroll, and reporting all connected.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

It’s not very intuitive, especially for new users. There’s definitely a learning curve, and some tasks feel like they take more steps than they should. Navigation can be confusing, and it isn’t always clear where certain settings or reports are located.

Customization can be tricky as well. While the platform is powerful, getting it to work exactly the way you want often requires submitting support tickets or spending extra time on setup. Some processes also feel rigid, particularly if your workflows don’t fit neatly into the system’s default structure.

From a performance standpoint, the platform can occasionally feel slow, especially when running larger reports or switching between modules.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro is a solid option if you’re looking for an all-in-one HR and payroll system and you have the time and resources to implement it properly. It isn’t the most user-friendly platform at first, but once you get used to it, it’s reliable and consistently gets the job done.

  ### 3. UKG Pro Makes Timesheets, Goals, and Employee Info Easy to Manage

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

The best thing I like about UKG Pro is the timesheet, where I can record the work I’ve done and the number of hours I spent on each task. Besides that, there’s a goals section where I can set my financial and work goals and then plan my work accordingly. It also includes all my details, like my current role, my employee ID, and other related information. If I need anything, I can simply go to UKG Pro and find it there.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

there nothing much dislike of ukg pro it is a good product.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro helps automate payroll and HR operations, so it’s easier for me to look up what I need directly instead of having to ask HR. It also reduces manual HR intervention for leave requests, since I can update everything myself in the timesheet accordingly.

  ### 4. Highly Customizable, Strong Features, and Supportive UKG Pro Team

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

As a UKG Pro customer, I’ve experienced its customization capabilities first-hand. From defining and applying our holiday pay rules to building meal-break attestation workflows. Customization is easily the best feature we could ask for. The product’s features are already strong, but being able to apply them and tailor them to our specific needs, with support from UKG’s team along the way, has been a very pleasant experience.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

While UKG has many strong features, I often find that our company can be very specific about how certain things should work and how they need to be tailored to match what we’re trying to accomplish. Although we can suggest ideas for new features, I’d like there to be a clearer way for those ideas to gain more exposure, so we can more easily attract other users who may benefit from them. In turn, that broader interest could help make the feature more feasible for UKG’s development team to prioritize and build.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using UKG Pro and the current People Import Integrations we have set up, we had to manually create People profiles following completion of a new hire process. UKG Pro is helping us cut down on manual work by connecting our workforce payroll and talent platform through the integrations we’ve put in place, saving us time which translates to workforce costs and allows us to invest our time in areas that need it most. Its easy-to-use UI gives our associates a strong experience when using the system and reduces the need for intensive training, since employees can pick it up quickly and become comfortable with it in a short time.

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

What I like best about UKG Pro is how it provides dedicated gateways for different HR functions, such as Recruiting and Onboarding. Having these specialized areas helps keep processes organized, creates a smoother experience for both administrators and employees, and makes it easier to manage each stage of the employee lifecycle. The integration between modules helps ensure a seamless transition from candidate to new hire, improving efficiency and reducing manual work. Overall, the platform makes it easier to attract, hire, and onboard talent in a consistent and professional way.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

UKG Pro offers a wide range of functionality, but at times the platform can feel complex and somewhat difficult to navigate. Some features and workflows are not always intuitive, which can make certain tasks confusing, especially for newer users. Improving the user experience and streamlining navigation would make an already strong platform even better.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro solves the challenge of managing multiple HR processes by bringing everything into a single platform. The recruiting and onboarding tools, along with easy access to employee information, help me complete my daily work more efficiently. It saves time, keeps information organized, and makes it easier to stay on top of my responsibilities.

  ### 6. Powerful Payroll & HR Suite, But Buggy and Non-Intuitive to Navigate

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

Our organization is able to manage payroll, timesheets, knowledgebase articles, tax documents, employment documents and much more through UKG. It also integrates with our financial system to streamline the payroll system including special codes for the many different employment types our non-profit ministry has. The timesheet module has helpful features such as the notes button allowing staff to enter notes explaining any ussies or timesheet details in their timesheet rather than requiring the employee to share this with their approver outside of their timesheet.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

Unfortunately, UKG Pro tends to crash a lot causing staff issues when attempting to clock in or out, payroll codes can get messed up causing payroll errors or manual entries and edits, and the many helpful modules require you to navigate to different webpages in a non-intuitive way. UKG can do many things, but it can be very buggy and can cause critical payroll issues, impacting staff negatively.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro consolidated many different platforms and also allows our ministry to oversee the paystructure for our complex employment makeup (full-time, part-time, vendor/contract hires, missionary staff, international staff).

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

I like that UKG Pro brings all of our core HR, payroll, and time‑tracking data into one place. The interface is clean enough for managers and employees to quickly find what they need, and self‑service features like paystub access, benefits information, and PTO requests reduce a lot of manual HR work. The reporting tools also make it easy to pull headcount, turnover, and payroll data for leadership in just a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

The biggest downside of UKG Pro is that some workflows feel slow and unintuitive, especially for new users. Certain configuration changes still require support tickets instead of being self‑service, which delays projects. Reporting is powerful but can be complex to set up, and pages occasionally load slowly during peak times, which is frustrating when handling urgent HR or payroll tasks.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro helps us centralize employee data, automate payroll, and standardize HR processes across the company. Before, we relied on spreadsheets and manual updates, which led to errors and inconsistent records. Now new hires are onboarded faster, payroll runs are more accurate, and managers have real‑time visibility into their teams’ time, attendance, and performance. This saves our HR team several hours each week and gives leadership more reliable data for decision‑making.

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

I like how UKG Pro provides a safe and secure environment for conducting important employment transactions, which supports my family through benefits and pay/tax communication and support. It's easy to look up data and make changes that impact my employment and my life outside of work, including taxes and beneficiaries, like payroll and other factors. I like how UKG Pro plays the role of an HR resource. It coordinates with a number of other HR resources, like employee data feeds to other systems. UKG Pro provides a great platform for all employee-related functions, both within and outside of HR, and it's so much more than a time/payroll application. I find UKG Pro easy to use, update, and adjust to our needs.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

I enjoy how the system is all encompassing, and allows for us to have everything we need in one place!

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

Some of the limitations of the system. An example of this would be an issue we had earlier this year with the need for salaries to be included in job postings without updating every job schedule - however the range section in UKG is not set up to speak with Indeed. This needs to be corrected ; as this requirement is part of new law in ontario - and having to update the job description is time consuming

**What do you like best about UKG Pro?**

I find UKG Pro very convenient because it houses all our HR functions within one program, which is great. It includes payroll, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and performance reviews, all centralized in one location. Employees find the system very user-friendly and convenient. They can usually find exactly what they need within their portal without much guidance from us as administrators. I appreciate it because everything is centralized, eliminating the need for multiple logins. Everything is readily accessible at our fingertips, as long as the correct role assignments are set within the system.

**What do you dislike about UKG Pro?**

UKG Pro has excessive updates and constant changes. I find it frustrating because when I look up instructions for tasks I do periodically, the instructions are often outdated due to updates, and tabs have moved to different screens. This wastes time as I have to locate where things are now. I wish UKG could notify users of changes more effectively or not make changes quite so often, as it seems updates happen multiple times every month. Additionally, the initial setup took quite some time, about six months, and was a lengthy process due to the phased build-out.

**What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UKG Pro centralizes all HR functions, like payroll, recruiting, and onboarding, making it convenient. It's user-friendly for employees to find what they need. However, frequent updates can be frustrating, requiring time to locate moved tabs due to outdated instructions.
