"Udemy Business: Huge Course Variety and Flexible, Self-Paced Learning"

What do you like best about Udemy Business?

What I like most about Udemy Business is the variety of courses available across different technical and professional topics. Working in a small team, it's useful to have access to courses on programming, cloud technologies, DevOps, and other tools we use in our day-to-day work.

The courses are generally well-structured, and I like that I can jump directly to specific topics instead of going through an entire course. The ability to learn at my own pace, revisit lessons, and follow along with practical demonstrations is helpful when I'm trying to understand a new concept or get familiar with a tool.

Having everything under one subscription also makes it easier to explore different technologies without purchasing courses individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Udemy Business?

As a business owner, my main concern with Udemy Business is that the quality of courses isn't always consistent. Some courses, especially in areas like AI, cloud computing, and software development, aren't updated frequently enough to keep up with industry changes. When I'm investing in employee training, I want them learning skills they can actually apply at work.

Finding the right courses can also be frustrating. There are often too many similar options, and the search filters don't always help narrow things down. I'd also like the AI recommendations to better understand employees' skill levels and suggest courses based on their roles and our business needs.

Another issue is measuring whether the investment is actually paying off. Completing a course doesn't necessarily mean an employee has gained useful skills. Better progress tracking, practical assessments, and clearer performance insights would help. Integrations with existing business tools could also be simpler, and onboarding could offer more guidance for smaller teams.

Overall, Udemy Business is useful, but it needs to focus more on practical learning outcomes rather than just providing a large course library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
