What I like most about Ubuntu is the strong balance it strikes between ease of use and real power. It works well right out of the box for both beginners and experienced users, offers excellent hardware compatibility, and is backed by a huge community with very solid documentation.
The regular Long Term Support (LTS) releases give me confidence in its stability, and the Software Center along with apt package management makes installing and keeping software up to date very straightforward. I also appreciate how smoothly it runs across a wide range of hardware, from older machines to modern workstations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some hardware—especially newer Wi‑Fi cards, printers, or GPUs—may still require manual driver installation or additional configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
