"Reliable, battle-tested communication APIs that make sending SMS and OTPs painless"

What do you like best about Twilio?

The best part for me is how clean and well-documented their APIs are. When I need to add automated SMS alerts, WhatsApp message notifications, or OTP verification into an application, I can usually get a working prototype up in under an hour using their Node.js SDK. Their webhook system for tracking message delivery statuses is super reliable, and you almost never have to worry about delivery infrastructure breaking silently behind the scenes. What do you dislike about Twilio?

Getting through carrier compliance registrations—like A2P 10DLC in the US or DLT registration in India—can be a tedious, slow headache with lots of back-and-forth paperwork before you can send live traffic. Also, if your app experiences a sudden traffic jump, pay-as-you-go pricing for outbound SMS and virtual phone number rentals can add up fast. The main web console has also gotten quite packed with menus over the years, making it slightly tricky to find specific API keys or logs quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
