What do you like best about Twilio?

What do you dislike about Twilio?

One downside is that it is difficult to split costs cleanly between departments. In practice, we have had to maintain two separate accounts, which adds administrative overhead and makes the platform harder to manage. Another limitation is that the generated API keys are quite rigid, which creates challenges for some of our legacy applications and devices that have stricter length or formatting constraints. Improvements in account-level cost allocation and more flexible API key options would make the platform easier to operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Twilio SendGrid, sending marketing emails at scale while protecting our main domain reputation was more difficult to manage. Twilio helps us separate that activity more cleanly, so we can run larger email campaigns with less risk to our core sending reputation. It has also helped from an access and administration standpoint because the SAML integration makes user authentication and access control easier to manage across the team. Overall, it solves the need for scalable email delivery and centralized access management, which makes our marketing operations more reliable and easier to control.
