## TVEyes Reviews
 ### 1. Good service, but the interface is not user friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I can get clips fairly easy, most networks are available

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I don't love the interface, website isn't the greatest to navigate. I'd like more sources to become available such as Fox News and Newsmax2, and Merit+

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to get clips

 ### 2. Don't know how much it costs -- but love using it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Super easy to trim and clip and get notifications. The customer service is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

We target by a name so you frequently get notifications of irrelevant things. Also -- sometimes you miss if a certain broadcast doesn't do a good job of making it easy to tag things. I also don't like how the default export isn't the HQ export. I was wondering why the video quality was so bad.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clipping features and interviews and notifying us when he's mentioned in the news.

 ### 3. Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Being notified when my boss's name is mentioned and getting to hear the context for the short clip, although it's frustrating that the clips aren't full segments.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The videos are grainy sometimes. Media monitoring could likely be accomplished with Google alerts, though TV EYes allows to see the video clip even if it's unusable.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being notified of when something is mentioned on the radio. We are not realizing financial benefits because we're not a for-profit company, we're the legislative arm of the government.

 ### 4. Chief of Staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2019

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Getting all the alert instantly, being able to access transcripts in inbox to understand context.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Having to wait for clips to be uploaded to media center

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to get all alerts for radio and Tv

 ### 5. Overall, great service for our industry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is user friendly and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes it doesnt pick up the key words, making it hard to find coverage

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps send coverage in real time to clients

 ### 6. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

There are no surprises with TVEyes, either in contracting or in the product itself. It works, and while the back-end is a bit old, it functions reliably. If you have a good training on it and understand the nuances, you're good to go. And the service and support and even sales folks are great to work with. We use it daily. It never dissapoints.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The UI is due for a refresh. I know they're working on that...but it's really NBD in my mind.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really hard to monitor local news and radio in-the-moment; a huge time drain agencies and orgs just can't afford. TVEyes makes it easy to look back, aggregate, and report.

 ### 7. Used for TV clips for government

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel J. | Deputy Press Secretary, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Very responsive team who can walk you through features

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Interface is a little dated and not entirely user friendly for beginners

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes helps my office monitor all mentions of our boss to ensure we're getting beneficial coverage

 ### 8. Loyal Customer for over 15 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilly W. | Founder/ Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVeyes is my trusted monitoring system to run my agency and provide my clients real time data on their broadcast appearances.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Since our agency does a lot of multicultural communications, TV Eyes still lacks diversity of mediums and all the ethnic media is not included in your monitoring or Searches. Even stations like Univision and Telemundo in smaller markets are still not tracked by TV eyes.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing full reports to our clients of their campaigns with real data like reach and Ad value.

 ### 9. Law Enforcement's Friend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooks J. | Communications Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes is easily searchable and can immediately alert users to content involving our law enforcement agency. Our Media Relations Unit uses it daily to review what's being said about us in the news. We're also able to track and save reports detailing coverage or mentions of our sheriff or his deputies. Additionally, we can save video clips to share with staff, government leaders, or the public.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Alerts are not available on mobile devices. It would be helpful to get clips sent directly to your smartphone.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to hold the media accountable if there are misquotes or inaccuracies.
The Sheriff's Office never misses a story involving our agency.
When the media produces stories that highlight our organization, we are able to save the clips and share them with others.

 ### 10. Affordable and effective clipping service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick S. | Deputy Comms Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes gives us what we need -- real-time monitoring at a reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Clip editing could be easier. The current system is a bit cumbersome.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

Expect good real-time monitoring. Think carefully about how you'll use clips -- the editing process can take a little time, so be prepared for that.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to quickly spot coverage of our campaigns and issues and measure the impact of our communications efforts. It also allows us to help spokespeople review and improve their performance.

 ### 11. Much better than it was

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The search functionality is fairly user-friendly, but you have to get very broad with the terms to generate the result you're looking for. Customer service is really fast.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

- It used to be slow to load, taking 72 hours for news top pop on the platform. This has improved, sometimes as fast as 12 hours after news popped, or even day-of
- Search is working a bit better, but should include like-terms

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving news clips, when you can find the clip it does what it says it does. It's fixing a. lot of UX issues that used to make me double back and check google/youtube instead of using TV Eyes as my main source.

 ### 12. Unspectacular, but a powerful service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

that clips are archived for a long time, the ease of workflow

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

that a lot of channels and stations are missing. as far as Ii can see, those that are geo-blocked or need a smart card. we'd be prepared to pay an extra fee for getting access to those

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

It looks pretty old-fashioned, but it does what it is supposed to do and it does it well. And, we don't know any comparable alternative.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work a lot with TV and Radio broadcasters and need to see the results. TVEyes does get us to see our work. The transcriptions are not perfect, but good enough to identify occurrences that we have not been aware of

 ### 13. using TV eyes is very friendly and Highly recommendable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Fetches each and every data I am looking for.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The UI looks a bit simple when compared to modern times. but it does help even the elderly to access it quickly

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Could find Broadcast clips that are not available in Google search and it makes my data collection process much more easier

 ### 14. First email I open everyday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian A. | Features Editor & Copywriter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes starts my day everyday. It is the first email I open because it provides me with a one-stop-shop for all the coverage about my organization so that I am in the know about how we are being talked about in our community and within our audience. It shields me from unwelcome surprises and provides me with content about our institution that I wouldn't find through Google search or other media monitoring formats.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

My only dislike of TVEyes is the format of the email that comes to my inbox with the roundup of coverage. It could be more appetizing visually.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rounding up media coverage and keeping me informed about how our organization's reputation and how external audiences define us.

 ### 15. High touch and quick to reply customer service team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana Marie B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The abillity to create reports, monitor and measure viewership and media value with TVEyes really adds to our agency's capabilities. I also appreciate there's no long contracts, you can go month to month. That is such a bonus fora smallyet mighty business.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I do not have any dislikes. I am so happy to have TVEyes.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing and measuring our client's broadcast and radio hits saves us time and money.

 ### 16. TV Eye works great for media monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Indra B. | Communications Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Captures TV and radio, can create alerts and different search options

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Doesn't capture widely outside US channels

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No need to worry that you missed some mentions on broadcast

 ### 17. TVEyes is the best braodcast tracker for your money!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent S. | VP, Media Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes platform is very cost effective, and once you have some time to work out searching for the more difficult topics/keywords, the platform is quite easy to use, implements well with MuckRack, too! We've found that the features for saving full/edited clips work well with our clients as does the feature to download HD files. Bonus that customer service is always avalable to help and answer the hard questions.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Wish Saved clips lasted longer than 30 days!

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes syncs with MuckRack, making it much easier to integrate braodcast coverage into SOV reporting, which can be tricky. The platform is also very cost effective for a mid-sized PR agency.

 ### 18. Effective, but not organized well

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maureen M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is very effective in picking up mentions of my clients. I appreciate the Power Search feature.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It is extremely difficult to effectively build covergae reports when a segment is longer than 30 seconds. The coverage on the platform is difficult to organize and th eplatofrm itself is not organized well.

For example, when I click on the number of mentions from a term in the watchlist on the main homepage, I see a list. When I then click on the small tv icon, I am able to see the national reach / value for a clip (if applicable). If I click on the still shot image of the clip, I am only able to see the local reach / value. I also have to report by hand when a clip is longer than 30 seconds. That method seems a bit dated compared to other softwares.

There needs to be updates to the look, ease of navigation, ease of organization for various campaigns / clients / projects and how the ad-value is calculated.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clipping Coverage. Enables the agency to record, report and prove value of media placements.

 ### 19. Makes Saving and Sharing TV and Radio Clips Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Easy to search, edit, organize by client or project and share results with partners.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I have MuckRack and wish that the metrics were pulled into that platform when integrating, as they currently do not so it's not helpful if I'm trying to show clients the value of hits and audience.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it easy to search, edit and share coverage that isn't always shared publicly by the stations.

 ### 20. Effective and Timely

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The most helpful about TVEyes is the real-time access to clips. What I most like about TVEyes is the ability to package clips and easily share with others.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Downsides of using TVEyes is the outdated user interface.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes is solving the problem of allowing us to monitor for particular search terms and pulling clips with our specific client/product mentions

 ### 21. Helps us track mentions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I enjoy the real time updates. It is a way to make sure we never miss a mention. I also enjoy the full transcript provided.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish it would pull a more etailed report so I can track easily the quality of hit, number of viewers, etc.

I also wish it was easier to sort by state/demo/etc.

I think the site could be mroe user friendly.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many of our cliops are on broadcast only, and the station doesn't share everything online. It is important for us to track all mentions of our office and elections, as we need to track this for auditing purposes.

 ### 22. The best program that works perfectly for my agency's needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I am a long-time TVEyes user using it at least three times a week, and it is one of the most vital parts of my job. I am in the media and marketing department in my agency and one of my long-term projects is tracking anything related to my industry, which is transportation, and when it is mentioned in news media. TVEyes has been one of the best ways I can track the television side of the news and has increased my job efficiency greatly due to how much the algorithm has improved over the years. TVEYes is also able to filter out certain words, and knowing that I am able to get daily updates from TVEyes with these keywords not only prevents my inbox from getting spammed, but has also contributed to how much easier my job has become since I am able to capture the specific timestamps for the portions I need.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

This is more of a personal thing than anything, but I think that TVEyes would benefit from having a way to filter out whether or not the news outlet is a local or national source. This could possibly be done through the TVEyes website and having a filter with a list of locations of the news outlets.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a government agency and we report to our constituents' needs. By having direct insight into what the people are saying about our agency and their concerns, our media and marketing department can relay this information to the correct department and better serve the people. It has made it easier to run down things that the community want to see improved from our agency as well, as we get to hear these suggestions directly from the people that we serve.

 ### 23. An incredible advantage to seeing the news you need to see first!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer W. | Social Media Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes is timely, I can clip a news segment almost immediately after it has aired to share.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The site could be a little more user friendly, but it is very helpful all around.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes is solving the ability to pull live news stories or news stories as they pop up for media monitoring. It is incredibly beneficial to us to help us control the narrative.

 ### 24. Not the best looking, but it's fast, flexible, reliable, and complete

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Fast - pages load quickly owing to little visual clutter or irrelevant product exercises
Flexible - the features it offers increases task efficiency by reducing the need to use other tools, for instance no need to use another impressions measuring tool, also means its easy to train new colleagues to use the tool and implement and integrate the software into accounts as needed
Reliable - the service consistently is updated as information flows in and has never been down in my time using it (not even for maintenance) allowing for a frequent use case
complete - the service has access to all broadcast stations in radio and TV, truly unparreled access to other service offerings

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Not the best looking - little visual clutter can still mean the website looks and operates pretty basic but does not affect operation
Only does traditional broadcast - no access to siriusxm or podcasts as those platforms become more valuable in the communications stream, will have to look elsewhere for those

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No other tools offer as much reliable access to broadcast media in a way that is easily shareable, packageable, and reviewable

 ### 25. Have had a great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariah W. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Really easy to use, easy to view things on, and easy to share video information with other peopole.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Nothing! I have had a great experience so far.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It heps me monitor when my company is showing up in the news, where i can find videos and additional informaiton, and keep track of everything.

 ### 26. In just a few short weeks, TV Eyes has proven its value. It's reliable, easy to use and affordable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It works as advertised. I've never had any difficulties finding what I need or doing what I need to do. I wish I could say that about all our programs and services.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The interface could use an upgrade, but that's mostly cosmetic. Everything works as designed.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring media coverage of our city government and city events.

 ### 27. One of the better clipping tools in the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TvEyes makes it easy to find, tracker, and clip broadcast clips across a variety of outlets, stations, and websites. It's easy to use, fairly user-friendly, and affordable compared to many other monitoring platforms.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Like other montioring software, TVeyes is limited in providing clips for certains outlets. This means you're often unable to download major news clips that don't have an agreement with TvEyes. Some other monitoring software companies have started building partnerships with these news organizations to ensure they're providing as many clips as possible. I'd love to see TVeyes build partnerships with outlets like Fox, Bloomberg, etc to start providing clips we currently don't have access to download.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring broadcast mentions of the brand I work for. This enbables me to save clips for easy reference, understand how my brand is showing up in the news cycle, and be more stragetic in the outlets I target.

 ### 28. PR Company Reviewer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer W. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It's simple. It does everything we need it to do. I would say searching is 95% accurate. We use this funcation to see when our clients are mentioned on the local news.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There isn't much to dislike. It does what we need it to do. It is very simple, which I enjoy. No frills needed. The one thing I would change would be the ability to add to or edit an existing report.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's so easy to show our clients the PR they're getting in the local news. I love the accuracy with numbers. Clients love to see a dollar amount and a viewer amount when we recap them.

 ### 29. simple solution to broadcast monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Briana P. | director, public relations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

easy to use; easy to search, find, clip and save/arcive or broadclast placements

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

look and feel is a bit outdated, but this does not limit it's capabilities.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use Cision for our main monitoring service, however thre are limitations to the boradcast clipping options and we needed an alternative. TVEyes allows us to save high resolution clips and share with stakeholders.

 ### 30. It does what I need it to - but its cumbersone

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It captures all the local, national and global coverage that I need it to on a daily basis - especially supporting a global client that requires global monitoring.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The transcripts are garbage. Basic punctuation is missing, misses complete sentences. No formatting or line breaks. Minimal updates to the tool and UI would make my job pulling transcripts and clips signficantly faster. The search feature "works" - but not ideal. It misses many of my client's mentions on air because it mistakes them for other generic words.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Until the UI and formatting/grammar/spelling of transcripts is improved - not much.

 ### 31. Extremely helpful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samya F. | Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Finding tv clips has never been easier. I like the oprions im given to refine my searches. I'm usually able to find clips on the platform faster than on other platforms like Muckrack.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Can't really say. Have had a great experience so far.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im able to deliver more comprehensive media coverage reports

 ### 32. TVEyes and Sports Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes has helped us better identify and find our media hits, that in turn helps us build our report and distribute it to the executive team.

The ease of use makes TVEyes one of the best media platforms.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Ideally at some point, TVEyes encompasses everything for media so we don't need multiple platforms to use for media monitoring. Being able to have everything in one system would help us spend more time getting interviews scheduled.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our business, we need to be able to track everything to share with the executive team, but also create reports for our partnership teams for end of year reviews. Being able to grab everything needed for TV and radio has been able to help secure more money for partners, reports for ownership and a general idea of what we are able to do on the PR side.

 ### 33. Useful but outdated

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is easy to use and a pretty intuitive platform.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The interface seems outdated and the report function is a little clunky. I wish reports could provide links to the clips when exporting to Excel.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the platform to find broadcast clips that mention clients.

 ### 34. Very simple and easy to use - awesome for all media!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Head of PR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

picks up media that isn't catalogued, or where our brand name is mentioned, but not listed online.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish you could link to the clip on the media site, instead of having to use the TV Eyes clip generator.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's difficult to track all media mentions, TV Eyes captures any time our brand name is menitoned.

 ### 35. Captures stuff well, captures too many irrelevant hits

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Not having to watch TV and listen to radio 24/7 to see how often and in what context our organization is being mentioned.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Hard to customize it to return only the most relevant resuts.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us an overview on how we're being received in the media.

 ### 36. I really enjoy TV eyes it makes it so easy to find local news TV hits for my company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like how it sends me reports when my company is mentioned in the news

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I think it could be a little more user friendly

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to have one source to media monitor and track PR analytics

 ### 37. TVEyes is easy to use but has its limitations and customer service could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Easy to use. Catches most of the coverage we're trying to monitor.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Doesn't get all of the coverage we're trying to monitor. Sometimes the transcription software doesn't catch a mention of our team. Also I've asked several times for TVEyes to look into radio/TV stations in my market that are absolutely necessary for sports but customer service never responds. That and when you do a report, it says it gives you the option to have all the videos be High Quality (HQ) but they always come out in SD. Therefore I have to manually download each one individually to get the videos in HQ.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catches most local media I'm looking for so I can track who is covering our team and to what extent.

 ### 38. TVEyes is a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

We're able to keep up with everything going on in the media related to our office thanks to TVEyes. It's a huge help and the results are back quickly.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish clips could stick around a little longer, but I also understand why they can only stay on the server for so long.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usually you don't know what is going on in other states or what is being said, but this keeps it simple and helps us stay on top of things.

 ### 39. TV Eyes has completely shifted the way that we evaluate media coverage with our parters

We see no downsides to this product. It integrates easily with our workflow, is cost-effective, and dynamic.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before becoming TVEyes users, we were struggling to monitor our media mentions for both ourselves and essential partners. We are now able to track and monitor our local media effectively, and in turn, evaluate our PR plan.

 ### 40. Invaluable Tool for our Company

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

TVEyes is an invaluable tool for us here at PIER 39. It's ease of use is something we are very happy with.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

We don't dislike anything about it. One minor change we'd like to see is that we can go in and get clips after the time limit.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

If you are mentioned in the media often, this tool is an absolute must have!

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 42. TV Eyes is a fantastic yet simple tool for media monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | Director Of Communications and Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Easy to use, and easy to find anything I need. I can select almost any channel in the country, choose my time frame and key words, then instantly see and edit clips that fit my description. If done within 30 days of the air date, you can save an HD-quality clip to be downloaded or emailed; anything from 31 to 90 days can do the same but it won't be HD. It's a very simple media tool.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It would be better if there were a built-in tool to provide value metrics when calculating the dollars of earned media, specifically a means for counting the number of seconds in a clipped item.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me look at coverage I missed live, and share footage or archive it for future reference.

 ### 43. Good basic platform, but not suited for digital tracking

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The ability to capture every instance of coverage across the country with multiple keywords and permutations. I think the actual search and recording of every instance of coverage is very valuable.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The user experience is not great. For example, it logs you out automatically after inaction of only about 10 minutes, which is not very long. The recording and downloading process is also a bit clunky.
