Right from accessing content to managing the learning experience, scheduling, invoicing, payroll, CRM, and lessened reporting, everything is connected unmanaged by one system. Their automation capabilities significantly reduce are administrative work, which allows a team to focus more on delivering quality content than managing spreadsheets and manual processes. **What do you dislike about TutorCruncher?** This platform also offers extensive functionality, because of that, there is bit of a complex learning curve during the initial setup phase. New users may need time to understand the various workflows and configuration options. Some of their advanced customisation also requires additional exploration, and their interfaces in certain areas should feel more modern and streamlined. **What problems is TutorCruncher solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform solves the challenge of managing multiple operational processes individually. I love how everything is in one place. You can find a student's contact details, records of previous lessons (given, cancelled, or cancelled but chargeable), and your invoice for your pay period. Now I don't have to tediously log each and every lesson I gave when I invoice the company...whee! **What do you dislike about TutorCruncher?** I wish there was a way for tutors to arrange their list of students according to their own preference. At present, different administrators can enter them last name first or first name first. My own list of students is fairly mixed up and makes it hard to sort. Also, while there is a way to write a lesson report under certain circumstances, I wish there was one that could be linked to a student and generated at will--for example, if a tutor needs to explain special circumstances regarding booking, billing, cancellations, etc. **Recommendations to others considering TutorCruncher:** Set down format guidelines with respect to data entry. Make sure everyone's on the same page as to formats of names. **What problems is TutorCruncher solving and how is that benefiting you?** My life as an independent, online teacher has gotten a lot easier since the company I contract for adopted TutorCruncher. In particular, invoicing/billing is a million times easier and faster than before, and having real-time access to where a student is in his/her course (i.e. how many lessons do we have left?) is invaluable. I'm able to program more effectively and efficiently, and am able to bill more accurately, too--no more lost money! ### 3. On the contractor side it is very user friendly. **What do you dislike about TutorCruncher?** There are a number of issues with Tutorcruncher from an aesthetics and functionality perspective. I dislike the complete lack of customizability. The terms on the page are oriented for the UK and the inquiry form is not very customizable. This creates confusion on the customer side, as users consistently have issues in the payment process. Furthermore, the reports that Tutorcruncher produces are not customizable and are lacking in quality. There is no way to integrate Tutorcruncher with a database. Lastly, clients cannot purchase packages of lessons from Tutorcruncher, a major drawback and headache for our customer service team. **Recommendations to others considering TutorCruncher:** Makes sense for a smaller sized tutoring business.
