TrueWork works well and it allows me to support my employees when needed. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Alander P. | Company Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021 **What do you like best about Truework?** I like that true allows you to generate super fast Employment verification letters and income verification without having to draft a long legal document that takes forever and is often times just general, with TrueWorks it is trusted and never questioned. **What do you dislike about Truework?** It is sometimes to generic so some things you have to change on the letters or drafts **Recommendations to others considering Truework:** If you are looking for a product or software that can help you help others and allow you to spend time on things that matter, you should try TrueWorks, Like I said, it shortens the time that you would have to usually put in just to fulfill something so simple. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allowed me to be able to give easy and quick verification letters to Employee's who were not on continuous payroll and or independent contractors, a quick push of an button and it is done, no long periods of waiting and no documents to have to do yourself, it comes pre-ready. ### 2. We have used the worknumber but have encountered many issues with them so most of them are now written forms that take long to print and scan back or over the phone which require an ID number and usually are automated with wait times or you can not hear the people well so they take a very long time. TrueWork was the fast way to complete these. **What do you dislike about Truework?** I have no dislikes so far. I think they are the most efficient for VOE's. **Recommendations to others considering Truework:** if you need a system for VOE's in your HR Department, this is the software to use. Other VOE systems are way more tedious and take up so much time/ need resources you may not have (such as printer/scanner) which can make them take way more time to fill out. This software is the best for your client's experience. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** No mishearing of an ID number to get the correct verification, no wait time waiting for representatives to assist me, no need access to printer/scanner to print these out and mail them back. It was easy to fill out over the computer and is sent to them right away making the client not have to wait on us for these to be filled out (they usually need this info right away for home loans, etc.) ### 3. It can sometimes be a tedius process having to download files, filling out the information manually, then emailing it back. I like how Truework functions as an all-in-one hub that does much of the heavy lifting for you. All you need to do is open the link, fill-in the boxes and click submit. It also saves the information to your account for record-keeping. Lastly, I appreciate the option to download a PDF file as a copy that we can store for our company's recordkeeping. **What do you dislike about Truework?** No dislikes immediately come to mind. The product works as advertised. My only concern would be verifying how secure Truework's network is. We obviously do not want sensitive information being leaked or exposed, falling into the wrong hands. I trust that Truework meets all these safety standards, although this is an area I would need to explore further. **Recommendations to others considering Truework:** If you work in HR and handle VOE requests from other companies with regularity, I suggest giving this product a try. There's no risk and the upside is great. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** Transitioning from emails and voicemails into a central website that streamlines the VOE process will save time in our day-to-day work. I also see potential in the feature to generate letters. Their services saves me hours of work each week, giving me back that time to deal with the important HR issues employees need immediate help with. It is assuring to know that each income or employment check is handled though an intelligent automated system, but one that lets employees remain in control of their information. The ability for them to self generate letters, or process more detailed verifications all from the same interface is great. I have transitioned two medium sized workplaces from old school manual verifications to the Truework system - one in the private sector and one in the public sector. In both cases the service was seamless, professional and valuable to me, and my HR Team. The value of Truework in giving focus and time back to the important customer aspects of HR, and eliminating errors in the process provides a ROI many times grater than imaginable. The first verification of income processed through Truework less than 24 hours after going live with no intervention or work required from me; I didn't even know it had happened until I checked days later! I absolutely recommend Truework as a partner to any HR department or organization that wants to automate, secure, and streamline the employment and income verification process for their employees. **What do you dislike about Truework?** There is nothing to dislike about Truework, they provide a seamless and well thought out service. The only caution for an excited and impatient business I would give is the considerable time to establish the system to system links and to make sure accurate income and employment information is flowing back and forth between your organization and Truework. This is not bad, as they are absolutely focused on the data being right. It can take much much longer to get setup than you initially expect. Think weeks and months, not days to get going. **Recommendations to others considering Truework:** Working with Truework is a win-win in every way for your organization. There is some cost, but very quickly the ROI on investment will outweigh that in tangible and intangible ways for your organization. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** In just the few weeks that we have been live with Truework I have saved hours of time by not having to process verifications. City employees and staff embraced the system and service immediately. I am also much more confident in the accuracy and timeliness in the responses and information provided by Truework over manually trying to dig through payroll data and add it up myself. ### 7. Confirmation of applicant information is easy. I don't have to go searching for any of the answers. This is probably the most user friendly verification processes that I get to use as an HR professional. Some of the other applications are very similar to a paper verification of employment and take up a lot of time. True work uses a very concise, clear format that makes it easy to complete. When completing the Verification of employment from Truework, it is presented in a clean, easy to complete format, unlike the Adobe PDF files that we receive from lenders that do not use Truework platform. I like that the Borrower's Certification and Authorization form is available to print/upload and that I get a notification when the verification has been completed and I can then download a copy of it for the personnel file folder. **What do you dislike about Truework?** I really do not have any dislikes about the verification process through the Truework process. Some of the other applications are very similar to a paper verification of employment and take up a lot of time. Truework is not like one of those applications. Possibly the only downfall is that the page opens in Explorer and not Chrome. I have to copy and past the web address to be able to open it correctly. **Recommendations to others considering Truework:** I sincerely recommend the Truework to anyone in the business of completed verifications of employment. The platform is easy to use. The electronic form is easy to navigate. The questions are concise. There is help readily available if needed. Truework has made the verification of employment process less tedious. The process leaves room for little error. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are no real problems that I am solving. One of the benefits of Truework verifications includes a list of all verifications completed. It is a centralized location to go back and retrieve any information that may have been submitted. there is also the benefit of moving the downloaded verification file from Truework to a folder that I can upload into the electronic personnel folder that we maintain. No more papers, no more boxing up papers from the previous years and storing. It is also saves the trouble of locating a Borrower's Certification and Authorization form as this form is available to print out. ### 9. As an Human Resources Manager it is not uncommon to receive 5 or more requests for verification of employment each week. They are usually a bit tedious and time consuming, especially if the form needs to be printed, completed, scanned and then returned electronically or if I receive a voicemail that requires calling back until I can reconnect with a live person to share the information with. It is a breath of fresh air to have it all easy to complete electronically within a protected app. This was my first experience using the Truework app and I am definitely a fan! **What do you dislike about Truework?** I cannot see any downside to using this. **What problems is Truework solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is a big timesaver. The process is so streamlined using the Truework app. It eliminated the back and forth communication that typically is required for completing verification of employment requests. The ease and efficiency of completing the information through Truework will undoubtedly help our employees move through their loan applications much more quickly. ### 10. This can be really time-consuming when mortgage companies require you to print and scan or even fax documents to them. Truework makes the process fast and seamless! **What do you dislike about Truework?** I would only like to be able to see old VOEs once they have been completed on behalf of another company.
