## Navan (Formerly TripActions) Reviews
 ### 1. Simplifying Travel and Expense Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sílvia C. | T.I. Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan provides a modern and intuitive platform for managing business travel. The booking experience is straightforward and it helps streamline processes and improve visibility. We particularly value the flexibility of the platform and the continuous support from the Navan team. As with any implementation, there are areas that require configuration and adaptation to specific business requirements, but overall the solution delivers significant value.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The standard workflows do not always cover every company-specific scenario, particularly for complex travel policies, allowance calculations, and expense processes. Some topics require discussions with the Navan team to identify the best approach, but the platform continues to evolve and improve through configuration and ongoing collaboration.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan is helping us standardize and streamline our travel and expense management processes. Previously, travel booking, approvals, expense reporting, and reimbursements involved multiple tools and manual steps. By bringing these processes into a single platform, Navan improves visibility, policy compliance, and user experience while reducing administrative effort for employees, managers, and finance teams. The centralized reporting and approval workflows also provide better control and support more efficient decision-making.

 ### 2. Fast, Responsive Travel Support with Plenty of Booking Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashleigh P. | Sales Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

How quickly and efficiently the representatives are able to assist with travel arrangements. Any and all questions are answered within the same day. During our company integration, there was an issue with some workers emails not allowing them to login, but Teddy and our IT department were in constant communication to figure it out. Having searched for personal bookings, I also enjoy the multitude of options available and the speed in which results populate. I am excited to book and promote this user friendly experience to others in my company.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

So far, I have not had a negative experience.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company did not have a universal booking platform. Any user could book travel with whatever platform or agency they wanted. Some prices of travel were extremely high. With using Navan, it gives our Travel and Expense team the ability to review similar receipts, cutting down on confusion, and end users the option to benefit from rewards received from Travel.

 ### 3. Not helpful or user friendly ... Pick another platform!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nichole S. | Executive Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It is nice to be able to see where all your travelers are at any given time and easily find receipts for trip purchases.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

flights don't always show when they are available directly on airline site, customer service SUCKS! Many people in our organization call to receive help with trip changes or canceled flights rebooking and are told "There is nothing we can do about it" and our employees have to figure it out on their own. We went through implementation with more questions than answered and just told "sorry, that is just how the platform works" when told during the sales process that a function was available and it is clearly NOT! Paying $30 a trip in fees to not have any benefit from the platform. Our discount codes that we have as a company STILL have not been uploaded to their site for us to use and we have been using them for 7 months! Paying more for hotels than we should! When brought up, acted like it was OUR fault for not following up with them to get them added. How were we supposed to know that there was an issue if they didn't inform us. Our project manager canceled meetings regularly and didn't answer our questions when we emailed. When asked to explain where the "trip savings" came from they did not have an answer ... just expected to believe the dollar amount.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were supposed to be helping us with budget and reporting, but so many people have to book off site because they don't have the flights listed that our employees need or our discount codes for hotels so we pay more on their site than booking directly. So ... NOTHING

 ### 4. How Navan helps us have better control of Corporate Travel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina P. | Travel & Expense Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

From an admin POV, I like that it gives us better control over what employees book for corporate travel, while avoiding the usual back-and-forth we used to have when booking on their behalf. Now each employee can choose their own trip proposals and send them for approval, with a wide range of options and clear pricing so they can find the most cost-effective choice while still staying within our policy (which we were able to set up beforehand). I believe it's pretty user friendly compared to other apps and we can find cheaper alternatives than booking with other apps. Additionally, we can reach out to Navan Support when needed, which have a fast response rate and also take care of calling hotels/airlines for us when needing to solve an issue.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Although it is pretty user friendly, some employees have missed some important information because they couldn't find it in the page they were at (for example, the fact that they need to input their corporate credit card before submitting a proposal so they can have it handy when attempting to book after approval). I also would like to have better customization of the necessary fields they need to complete upon submitting a proposal (for example, we need them to provide a job code from the start, and that should be an obligatory field). I would also like to be able to filter the proposal and booking approvals report and see which ones have been already booked without needing to click each one. It would also be helpful to be able to toggle on and off options accoss regions (for example, we don't allow US travelers to book basic economy, but we do allow EMEA users to go it, but we can't toggle it off for the US without taking it off EMEA). The AI assistant on the support chat needs to be refined

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration with our Reporter tool (where we have all the employees information including billing entity, etc) is pretty good so we don't have to do it manually. The bookings report is also good and we can have it be automated (Although I would love if the automatization allowed for the excel file to be sent to my email instead of emailing me the link to the report online). I also like that the tool itself lets the employee know when they're booking out of policy, so we don't have to do it ourselves. It saves time! We can have more time to actually control costs instead of focussing on things that could be automated. Navan is able to handle multiple bookings faster and better with little to no mistake than if we did it manually

 ### 5. Versatile Expense & Travel Management with a User-Friendly UI and Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manvitha K. | Senior business Solutions Partner, Finance Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan works best for expense management because it includes policy management and auto-approval workflows. The policy setup is very versatile, with multiple configuration options and different approval mechanisms.

Navan Travel is also strong, with plenty of booking options and rule-based approval controls. Hotel bookings are especially easy in Navan, since you can book based on the location where the event is being held.

Navan also stands out for its card program: employees can be issued a Navan card to use during trips.

Navan UI is very user friendly and its OCR mechanism helps with creating expense claims automatically.

Navan team is friendly for onboarding and post Go Live support.

Navan has integration with Okta, Slack and Sage Intacct which we use extensively,

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The Navan application needs further development to better suit India-specific requirements, such as broader coverage of travel destinations within India, card programs that support INR, and an automated expense reimbursement process so employees in India can be paid back automatically.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our expense management has become much easier. Previously, we were using Excel forms, and the process was very manual: every expense had to be reviewed one by one, and we often had to reach out to employees for additional information.

With Navan, employees can update expenses via mobile. They just have to upload the receipt, and the rest of the information is automatically retrieved. If any information is missing, there are no more manual follow-ups required, because Navan can redirect the expense back to the employee and let them know what additional details are needed.

Automatic approvals for expenses within policy limits have also significantly reduced our expense admins’ workload. Navan can reimburse employees automatically, which removes the need for Payroll team involvement. Only India claims still have to be processed manually.

 ### 6. Easy-to-Navigate UI with Great OCR and Drag-and-Drop Expense Creation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trishla J. | Staff Finance Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI is very easy to navigate, the integration wont need a too technical person so its very easy but it has its drawback where you cannot customise it to your needs and the Navan team wont have proper logs and support to debug the tricky cases. The performance is good because they have drag and drop feature that helped to create expenses easily. Its missing AI intellegence I dont see much features. The OCR from the recipiet feature is really good and commandable. The policies are easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The only thing I dislike is the integration piece where there was issue with the customisation and nobody could help us they just told us to redo the integration again but then we never had any issues. So i guess its really a good product just had one hiccup. The navan cards, brex integration is really good.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan is an easy tool for expense and travel. You can book flights and hotels, submit reimbursements, and integrate everything with NetSuite easily. It can be really beneficial for companies that use multiple currencies and manage multiple entities.

 ### 7. Excellent reimbursement tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul B. | Lead Technical Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Over the past year, I have used Navan's business travel tool multiple times to book my off-site visits. It's an easy, no-nonsense flow while making the travel booking. It gives you good options to choose from, along with the decided budgets. There are direct options to download trip-related artifacts, such as flight tickets, in one click. The feature that I liked the most is the Slack notification it sends you to do a web check-in as soon as the check-in window opens - that is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

One issue that I faced recently was while submitting a food reimbursement. The bill had taxes listed separately (CGST and SGST), which were not auto-captured from the receipt, and I had to manually update the tax values for logging the expense. It's not a big deal, but it would be great if the OCR reads the taxes and adds them automatically instead of having to do a manual entry.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I remember keeping the business expense receipts safe and then sending them as soft copies via email. This was a painful way of tracking expenses and I used to avoid submitting expenses at all.

With Navan, I face no such issues now and reimbursement tracking is extremely efficient.

 ### 8. Smooth Onboarding, Helpful Integrations, and Excellent 24/7 Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah V. | Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI/UX and integrations are incredibly helpful. I also appreciate the pricing options, with clear availability and flexibility. Onboarding to the platform has been smooth, and the ongoing support from the Account Manager, along with 24/7 assistance from agents, has been great. The AI chatbot is useful and can handle travel changes, which is especially helpful when I don’t want to speak with a live agent. When I do need an agent, wait times are minimal to non-existent.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

During periods of high traffic driven by external events, the site can feel slower than expected.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan is helping our company manage cost-effective global travel, and its integrated expense platform is a big part of that. The single cost per reservation, without incurring additional fees, makes pricing more predictable. Together, these are reducing our overall travel costs.

 ### 9. Best Corporate Travel Expense Management Softwares

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoj T. | Talent Acquisition Leader 1 -Global GTM Hiring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

- Automated invoice submissions that accept any format (JPJ, PDF), with AI that automatically identifies and assigns the correct expense category.

- Navan Lets you book your travel using third-party aggregators like booking.com or hotels.com

- Navan card can be easily added to you Uber as well and it manages your corporate taxi bills as well

- All the Data in One Place related to travel - Food, Accommodation, Travel, Reimbursements etc, helping you conduct the necessary analysis and make informed decisions.

Travel Rewards - It rewards you points on every booking, You can accrue reward points and save more with loyalty memberships and frequent flyer miles

-Customer Support provided is quick and easily accessible

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

- It should automatically detect and select the local currency when making payments. Right now, it defaults to dollars, and I have to manually switch it to the local currency during checkout.

- You have to first create a proposal for any business travel, the estimates in the proposal are always lower as compared to the final billing which doesn't reflect the correct provisioning

-Limited global inventory - The hotel options are very limited in global locations

- I also feel the platform fee it charges is a bit high compared to competitors, but it’s still worth it for the features it provides

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Manages Corporate travel across different offices around the globe easily
2. Employees can book flights, tickets and car rentals on their own without needing any help
3. Strong reporting and compliance controls - SOC 2, GDPR, ISO-aligned controls, encryption, audit logs, SSO support
4. Built-in travel policy management
5. Rewards-based cost savings
6. Offers higher credit line to corporates
7. Clean and intuitive interface

 ### 10. Navan makes expensing easy and quick

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth H. | Senior Consumer Research Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I also love how quickly Navan clearly communicates the reinbursement process for expenses not on my corporate card. It lets me know when the transaction is officiallly approved and the exact date the funds will be sent on.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

We only get reinbursement payments once a week and it usually takes a day or two from when Navan sends the reinbursement funds for them to register in my bank. I know this isn't something fully on their end but would be awesome if that transaction was more instant and I didn't have to wait until every Monday for funds to be reinbursed.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes expensing easy while on the go so that you aren't left with a stack of expense reports at the end of the month.
When booking travel it easily lets you see what is in or out of company policy so you are working within the proper boundaries.

 ### 11. One place for all your Trip and travel and expense finance.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddhant V. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan has been highly effective in simplifying the organization-employee spend management process. I particularly like the ability to manage spending policies and caps, provide controlled direct spending options, and streamline reimbursement workflows within a single platform. The visibility and control it offers for both employees and finance teams make expense management much more efficient and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Overall, Navan has been a great tool to use. One thing that could be improved is having more flexible reporting and spend insights for admins. It would also be helpful if some of the approval and reimbursement processes were a bit more streamlined, especially for unique or less common expense scenarios. Other than that, it's been a smooth experience.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an application to manage the corporate travel, travel perks/rewards and travel bookings (with cancellation support). It helps me and my org to setup the company policy and adhere it for the services used by company folks. One can use it to track and review simultaneously.

 ### 12. Trip Actions is a user-friendly, cost savings solution for business purchasing and travel.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna B. | Chief Financial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan now reflects cash back on a daily basis on the monthly statement.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I have stopped itemizing receipts in Navan since it is a cumbersome process and not exportable until the monthly statement is generated.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trip Actions has allowed us to consolidate all of our credit card spending to one solution. Our previous processor wasn't accepted at all the places we made purchases so we had to have two cards per employee in many cases. Our previous solution had an app that had glitches and I received complaints from many employees that they had to upload receipts multiple times before the upload was successful. I haven't had any complaints with the Trip Actions app and have a few employees tell me that it is much easier to use.

 ### 13. Great and easy booking but not flexible for more complicated needs.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael P. | Head of Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It is very easy to organize and book candidate travel, I just send a link and they can do everything themselves with minimal action required from me

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There is currently no way to give candidates who need only one night of bookings a choice of two nights. Some folks want to land, go the interview, then hit the hotel, and others want to land, go to sleep and then interview and fly out after, but to accommodate preferences you have to mark both as available

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes travel bookings very easy and reduces the overhead we used to have to do. I appreciate that I don't have to request personal information from candidates or have to get involved in their room preferences.

 ### 14. One of the Better Travel Management Platforms—Clearly Improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric G. | Director, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan’s travel management is still one of the better software platforms on the market. While it isn’t perfect, it’s clear there’s ongoing investment going into the platform to keep improving it. Overall, the travel management features should meet about 95% of typical business needs for the people who use it.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan’s expense management still needs some work. At times, it’s difficult to get recommended changes—especially ones that feel like clear wins for Navan—heard and prioritized by the software development team.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing travel management, policy management, and expense management together in one platform—and saving Navan users time, energy, and effort—has been the biggest win for us. The user experience was the number one reason we ultimately decided to go with Navan.

 ### 15. Complex Setup Challenges for Large Enterprises

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silviu P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan seems to have more functionality compared to the previous travel provider we used. It feels like more of a tech-first enabled platform. Somewhat user-friendly from an end-user experience standpoint (in terms of booking travel). Some useful controls and policy limits you can set to manage travel spend.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The overall implementation with Navan was quite difficult. They didn't take the proper time to understand the complexity of our business and how Navan should fit within that. They seemed to want to quickly get the implementation over with quickly based on their pre-conceived ideas, and we were overly led by them instead of them trying to understand how we operate. We ended up being pushed into a go live and having payment problems where the wrong legal entities were charged, creating a mess that could have been avoided if they took more time to understand our business properly and have the correct bank account setup from the get-go. Other examples: we were asked to provide the personal details of senior individuals for KYC purposes (e.g. their email addresses) and were repeatedly assured there would be no impact or involvement of them beyond that. Lo and behold those individuals (plus myself) then started getting bombarded by relentless invoice and statement emails when they shouldn't have been because they were set up as 'account owners' in the platform. This was incredibly annoying and took far too long to fix which ended up highlighting both system limitations (e.g. can't use our general AP mailbox address to send invoices to, which is our standard way of operating, instead they need a specific named individuals which was problematic) and poor customer service to have been put in that position and then unable to address it quickly whilst they were pissing off senior people in the business with these emails. As a result, I can't recommend Navan as a partner for large complex enterprises based on my experience.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan provides a single platform for booking travel, offers user-friendly experience, controls and policy limits for spending.

 ### 16. Navan: GREAT T&E Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy M. | Expense Administrator - Finance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan is the most user-friendly T&E platform my company has used, and we have tried several! From booking a flight and hotel to paying for meals while traveling, the entire process is easy to follow and complete. Entering transactions for normal expenses to be reimbursed could not be simpler and quicker!
As the admin for my company, the implementation process was the best and their customer service is top notch!

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

We’ve been using Navan for just over a year, and we’re still just as satisfied—if not even more so—than we were at the start. Hands down, it’s the best T&E platform we’ve ever used.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because our company has several different business units, each with its own departments, GL codes, and other requirements, keeping up with travel and expenses used to be a nightmare. With Navan, everything is centralized, and users are assigned to the correct business unit, so we can easily pull separate reports for each one. AP is no longer overloaded with reimbursement requests, and employees no longer have to wait 1–2 weeks or longer for repayment because of the backlog.

 ### 17. Streamlined Travel Management with Minimal Hassles

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil B. | Director Of Financial Reporting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find the UI of Navan (Formerly TripActions) clean, logical, and easy to navigate. I also appreciate the agent assistance, as they have been helpful in rebooking me during travel delays. Setting Navan up was easy for my team, and it serves as a single point for employees to book travel and submit expenses. It effectively allows tracking and managing spend by departments through budget allocation and ensures compliance with our travel and expense policy.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Some of the backend reporting in terms of syncing accounting data to our ERP could be improved. It would be helpful to allow for an automate accrual for unreviewed spend to be stances over as a reversing journal entry so we don’t need to manually accrue. Also for approved reimbursements, the only amounts that sync over are those that were paid to the employee, but those that are unpaid but approved do not sync to Netsuite.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan provides a single point for booking travel and submitting expenses, allowing us to track and manage spend by departments via budget allocation and ensure compliance with our travel and expense policy.

 ### 18. Overall a very good starting point, with improvements still needed especially in the reporting area

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The interface is user friendly and quite intuitive. I doesn't take to long to get used to it

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I don't like the reporting part. It is quite challenging to get accurate information, some info is not correct and doesn't totally make sense. I use the reports quite a lot and sometimes it's a challenge to get a clear view. The new analytics reports are not user friendly at all and they can sometime create more problems then solve, because you don't have the knowledge behind to understand what option to use best to get the correct info. You need to spend quite some time to understand them and without someone from the developing team guides you through this it would be quite a challenge to understand the process by yourself. Also the integration with the Navan partners is not good. This might be also coming from the partners, but the information is not completely and accurately transmitted into Navan, and this creates a lot of manual work and also not very reliable work. I think the reports need to be extended to cover a global network for clients that operate across the glob. I feel that if you are a smaller company with business in just a few countries the reports work, but for a global business, where partners are also involved, thing can get tricky.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it consolidates all the travel related info and this makes it easier for us to manage the travel program (reporting, business trends etc). It also helps us to keep an eye on where our travelers are so that we can quickly react and support them in case of need.

 ### 19. Navan takes expense and travel management to the next level

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam B. | National Partner Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

One thing I really like is how you can earn personal rewards if you choose lower priced hotel options. You still earn your hotel rewards, but you also get Navan rewards as well that you can spend on personal travel. Also, when you use their personal travel section, you are getting lower priced hotels and rental cars than I get from other travel sites.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Nothing that sticks out to me right now. Their mileage tracking took a little getting used to, and the selecting the addresses sometimes seemed a little wonky, but it got better.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to get my travel done quickly and my expense reports completed quickly and get paid back faster. Also, I am saving money on hotels using this tool as they are getting good rates.

 ### 20. Intuitive, All-in-One Travel For You and Your Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Compared to our old booking software, Navan is easy to navigate and intuitive to use. I like how it can clearly link all modes of travel into a single itinerary for a traveler (flight, hotel, cars, etc). Support feature has also been incredibly helpful dealing with airlines and gives quick access to back end support. I love the personal travel feature and the ability to collect rewards for my own travel use as I book for my company and colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

While Im aware it is undergoing development, there are often bugs or technical issues while using the site. Searches can time out, pages can freeze or load slowly, information can change rapidly or errors can occur. However still, this inconvenience has not outweighed the benefits of using the platform and I expect it to continue improving.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan allows for one streamlined platform for all booking services. It allows our company to load corporate discount rates for commonly used services which lets us utilise our negotiated rates while still tracking bookings all in one place.

 ### 21. Hassle-free travel management with Navan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like using Navan to book hotels and flights because it offers excellent connectivity and plenty of flight and hotel options, better than Expedia and Booking. I enjoy the synchronization with Netsuite, as it makes expense reporting easier and the automatic logging is quite convenient. Refunds are quick and that's a big plus for me. Additionally, the technical support team responds immediately to my questions, which I really value.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Sometimes I notice the synchronization with Netsuite is a bit slow, I'm not sure if it's the internet or if there are too many transactions. Generally, I like to sync the expenses at the end of the day, but if it's too slow, I leave it for the next day. It's not much of an inconvenience, it's just that it doesn't say why it takes so long.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to book hotels and flights, manage quick refunds, and automatically sync expenses with Netsuite, making them easier to record in my accounting system. It offers a wide variety of hotel and airline options, making my job easier than other applications.

 ### 22. Well-Designed, Easy-to-Navigate Interface for Expenses and Travel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The interface is well thought out and easy to navigate. The expense and travel sections are both logically organized and easy to review and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Admins having no way of knowing about employee charge disputes was a real inconvenience, but I think Navan recently added some notification capability around this topic.
Another issue is in expenses not automatically moving between category buckets (needs review; info requested, etc) for instance when an employee answers an Admin request for more info, the expense continues to sit in the 'info requested' area instead of moving back to the 'needs review' category.
There are also sometimes issues with Navan tagging an expense with the wrong category (lodging instead of food, etc)

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to set up policy guardrails around employee spending has delivered a meaningful financial benefit for us, and we’ve found the reporting and analytics capabilities to be genuinely insightful. The ability to quickly review, approve, and act on expenses and travel in an organized way has also been a real time-saver, making the overall process feel much more streamlined.

 ### 23. Navan Streamlines Travel Booking and Expenses with an Intuitive, All-in-One Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I like best about Navan is that it combines travel booking and expense management in one place. It's easy to book trips, upload receipts, and submit expenses without having to switch between multiple systems. The mobile app makes it simple to snap a photo of a receipt while traveling, and the interface is intuitive enough that most users can figure it out quickly. From an administrator's perspective, it also provides good visibility into spending and helps enforce company policies without making the process overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

One area I'd like to see improved is reporting and analytics. While the standard reports are useful, extracting more detailed data or creating custom reports can be challenging and sometimes requires extra manual work. I would also like to see more flexibility in policy configuration and stronger administrative tools for identifying trends, such as missing receipts or recurring out-of-policy behavior. Overall, these are opportunities for enhancement rather than major issues, and the platform continues to work well for our travel and expense needs.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan has streamlined our travel and expense process by bringing booking, corporate card transactions, receipts, approvals, and reimbursements into a single platform. This has reduced manual work for both employees and administrators, improved policy compliance, and increased visibility into company spending. From an administrative standpoint, it has made it much easier to review expenses, follow up on missing information, and keep reimbursements moving on schedule. Overall, it's saved time, reduced back-and-forth with employees, and created a more efficient expense management process.

 ### 24. Navaan is best place for all your business travel and expenses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush N. | technical architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I’ve used Navaan for scheduling trips, booking hotels, and managing other expenses. I can honestly say it’s very good, and by far one of the easiest tools to use.

Scheduling flights works really well, and it lets you add your frequent flyer numbers. Hotel booking is also straightforward and gives a clear view of your options, including reviews and points to help you decide.

Beyond trips, submitting other expenses is very easy too. I just upload the receipt, and it automatically pulls in the details using AI. I have used this for business travels as well as personal. It makes it really easy.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Only thing is I can not make bulk expense. I have to register each expense as a single transaction. If this could be fix or improved then 100% mark for the tool.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In simple world it is making the life really easy. I could tell from experience using other expense system before. This is by far the best one.
It saves me a lot of time which I can use in other activities.

 ### 25. User-Friendly Platform That Simplifies Travel Booking and Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin D. | Privacy, Compliance, Governance, Risk and Security MGR, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan (formerly TripActions) for its user-friendly platform that simplifies travel booking, expense management, and corporate travel policies. Its seamless integration, real-time updates, and comprehensive reporting features are often highlighted as top benefits

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love it, nothing bad to say, no issues to report

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigating the world of corporate travel can often be overwhelming and time-consuming. Employees spend hours booking flights, hotels, and transportation, often struggling to find options that align with company policies. Meanwhile, finance teams lack real-time visibility into travel expenses, making it difficult to monitor and control costs.
Navan steps in to change that. It simplifies the entire process by providing a user-friendly platform where employees can easily book their travel arrangements in one place. This not only saves time but also ensures that bookings comply with company policies automatically. With real-time updates and centralized data, organizations gain better oversight of their travel expenses, helping them stay within budget and make smarter financial decisions.
For employees, it means a smoother, more convenient travel experience. For companies, it translates into improved compliance, reduced administrative work, and valuable insights into travel spending. Overall, Navan makes managing corporate travel more efficient, cost-effective, and hassle-free for everyone involved.

 ### 26. Distressing experience, confusion and waste of time

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delphine D. | Senior Project Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I don't understand how it's possible to have titles that are confusing when there are so many search and booking engines. For the first time using a system, I wondered what needed to be done at each step.
While the system, used and imposed by my company, knows which hotel was booked by colleagues for the same place and date as my trip, I had to extend the search to find the hotel (which has a note "colleagues have booked this hotel").
The system requires hierarchical validation to finalize. Except that it's not "finalize the booking" that's written. You have to "check availability." I don't know what happens if the desired room is no longer available.
Even though I followed the same procedure as my colleagues (we were leaving together, but each had to spend time making a reservation), my room was not paid for by the system. I had to pay the hotel on-site, while my colleagues had their nights prepaid.
The advantages of Navan are confusion and wasted time.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Lack of clarity in the process. Unclear titles. Complicated and non-intuitive procedures. The information that the system possesses and displays is not used ("hotel booked by colleagues on the same dates" indicated but not presented as the first result). Validation page too long (7 printed pages).

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

nothing for me. I imagine that my employer thinks they will find something there in relation to other services.

 ### 27. Autonomous, Easy Travel Booking with Clear Itineraries and Upfront Costs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan gives employees autonomy over booking their own travel, which takes the hassle away from other teams and lets individuals choose their preferred trip details. I also like the trip overview you can print out like a timetable, as it makes the itinerary easy to follow. It’s great to be able to see the total cost of the trip and approve (or get approval) before booking. The search options are clear and comprehensive, and it saves all of your details for quicker, easier booking in the future, including frequent flyer information. And of course, the Navan rewards encourage more economical booking decisions.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Once a trip is approved, each section has to be booked individually, making it slightly cumbersome. Other than that, it's great.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows clear, pre-approved travel decisions to be made by each member of the team, saving time & money.

 ### 28. Intuitive, Mobile-First Travel and Expenses with Built-In Compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Senior Vice President Finance and Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The user experience is extremely intuitive. If you’ve booked travel before, you can quickly figure it out.

The mobile-first application makes on-the-go, real-time expense submission a breeze.

By eliminating traditional expense reports, it lets users focus on their core responsibilities instead of non-value-added compliance reviews. Compliance is built into the policies, and out-of-policy transactions are automatically flagged for review.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

While the NetSuite integration is reasonable, it is not as robust as some other applications. The types of transactions to integrate into NetSuite were somewhat limited.

Sometimes bookings came over on estimated values with a different actual value hitting the card. Made for some interesting reconciliations at times.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a financial standpoint, we didn’t have an integrated travel platform connected to our ERP, and this solves that gap. The system is inherently exception-based, which frees up valuable time for the team because we no longer need to do full expense report reviews for every submission.

From a non-finance user perspective, we no longer have to visit multiple sites to book travel. It’s all integrated into one platform alongside expense reporting, and adoption is much easier when everything is part of the same, consistent experience.

 ### 29. Easy to Use with Near Real-Time Updates and Helpful Spending Guardrails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher R. | Senior Analytics Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Easy to use. I especially like near real-time updates to my account once a transaction is complete. I also like the fact that spending guardrails are incorporated into Navan which does not allow me to exceed caps.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There's not much downside. I have noticed a little discrepancy between the incorporated travel policy stipulates and what Navan allows, so I'm not sure how current Navan updates the travel and expense guardrails. I can look at the T&E policy and see what it should be, and sometimes Navan's data is dated.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our policy has a travel and expense policy and I love the fact that it is built in to Navan. I do not need to worry about running afoul of the policy.

 ### 30. Tidy Interface and Clear Menus Make Navigation Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

the interface is tidy. the menu is clear to understand. you can expect what information you will see in each menu.
the integrations with NetSuite could have been better, though, in my opinion. the data we get in NetSuite after exporting is not as detailed as in it should be.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

sometimes i got complaints from the team that booking a flight via Navan does not include carry-on baggage and they have to pay at the counter that costs them time both at the airport and after a trip where they have to submit an expense report separately instead of taking advance of the Navan company card.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, Navan didn’t have the option to book train tickets in EU countries, but now it does. This really helps us manage all our bookings in one app and saves a lot of time.

 ### 31. Good experience but many things need to be improved

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norma Rocio G. | Executive assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The friendliness of it, it's not difficult to do, it's clear when we need help.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It does not reflect all flight options, sometimes it is difficult to change a flight even if a flight that allows changes has been purchased, it does not allow changing return dates for cars in the car rental section. Since the policy change, flights within policy are not a good option and what is available sometimes does not allow changes.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem regarding the checks is the temporary hotel and car charges, you have to wait until check-out to be able to close it.

 ### 32. Seamless experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The app is very convenient and gives you a clear view of the options available: the hotels can be sorted quickly to meet specific criteria, and the map allows you to choose the right hotel. The booking process is easy. Have not had any issues while using this application.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Nothing to dislike here, to be honest. The app is good; the UX/UI experience is flawless; it does what it's set out to do and does it exceptionally well. No complaints.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to book a hotel using a corporate debit card, I don't have to submit any expense report afterwards, don't have to deal with the receipts and so on - the app does it for you.

 ### 33. easy way to document, monitor, and audit all kinds of expenditures.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad A. | Sustainability Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It is great that I can easily scan the proof of expenses documents and invoices, and it is also great that TripActions automatically offloads data from them, as well as keeps a copy of the original document. I like how simple it is to use TripActions, as well as how clear all of the tools are on the great user interface. I really like how the spending is broken down and organized into several categories, and how the taxes and fees are computed separately, all inside the same report. , This makes audits and approvals go much more quickly. This notification system is one of a kind because it notifies you of any changes that have been made to the reports that you have submitted or of any inquiries that are required by the accounting department, So they can obtain your money faster, and you can avoid any delays by answering their queries immediately.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

In general, TripActions is simple to use and does not have a significant number of drawbacks. My only issue arises when I am loading receipts and unloading data from them. During these processes, the user is required to check that all of the data has been recorded correctly and manually modify many of the records before sending them. This can lead to errors and mismatches between the numbers on the receipt and the numbers in the reports.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By utilizing TripActions, we guarantee that all expenses are correctly documented, that no receipts are lost, that members of the accounting department can quickly check them and guarantee the accuracy of the information contained in them, and that we guarantee that approvals are obtained directly and that funds are received by the specified dates. Moreover, we guarantee that all of these things will happen on time. We can monitor exchange activity, collect data efficiently, identify and pinpoint any needless or inflated costs, and prevent budgets from going over with the help of TripActions.

 ### 34. Navan (formerly Tripactions) keeps getting better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

When renting a car, Navan looks at the time of arrival and departure and transfers that to the start and end date/time for the rental car. Very helpful!
When booking a hotel, the site provides the ability to enter an address of where I'll be working. This is very helpful as I can see visually where I need to go from the hotel.
Changing flights is much better now.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It would be very helpful if I could add my hotel, flight, and rental car dates/times to my calendar when making a Personal booking. This is only available for Business bookings.

**Recommendations to others considering Navan (Formerly TripActions):**

As with any website, be sure that it's giving you want you need. Give Tripactions a go, but be very aware of what you're getting. Check the details carefully. By far, it is the easiest travel website that I've ever used once I figured out how to use it. Be wary of the defaults. You may end up with a very frustrating experience as I have.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the dashboard for my trip that shows all of the bookings with the ability to download receipts and to change the bookings.
The itinerary can be printed to PDF and sent to my customer so they are aware of my travel plans.
Of all the travel agencies I've used over the last 25 years, Tripactions is the easiest to navigate.

 ### 35. Good Experience with Navan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric G. | Sr Acctg Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

UI is amazing, really user friendly. The support we receive is unparalleled

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Nothing. The platform is amazing. If anything, maybe they could streamline their company policies and flags

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan has streamlined our company travel and expense management by putting booking, corporate cards, expense reporting, and approvals into one platform. It gives employees an easy way to book travel while providing our finance team with better visibility into spending, automated receipt matching, and a more efficient reimbursement and reconciliation process. Overall, it has reduced manual administrative work and improved compliance with our travel and expense policies.

 ### 36. Recent reimbursement and processing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Good webpage design, clear tabs and easy workflow throughout the app. There are easy references to past transactions that helps us finish our regular tasks on time. I see good perks like rewards being generated. This helps us plan some personal trips in Navan.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

One quick thing I suggest to keep some past bills readily available so that we can use those formats and add the latest bills. This will help us quickly work with Navan and finish our regular transactions on time. Similar to rewards, if there are ways we can add our credit card and earn point, if there are Navan based cards that we use to get 3%-5% cash back, it helps us work and effectively utilize the app in a more meaningful way.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It significantly reduces the expense uploading, processing, and submitting time. The UI design is simple and easy to manage. There are no hassles and difficulty in handling the website.

 ### 37. Customizable and Efficient Travel Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the many different ways I can categorize statements. I also appreciate the ways I can customize reports into formats that work for my specific business needs. It could eliminate useless information and only give the relevant ones, such as GL account and subsidiary. It wasn't hard to set up, and our account manager was very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I wish there was more ways for me to check if an expense was manually coded or if the system populated it. This would help me when reviewing transactions that I am unsure of what exactly they were booked to.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to solve coding and reconciliation problems and consolidate massive datasets. It lets me categorize and customize reports, eliminating useless information and focusing on relevant details like GL accounts and subsidiaries.

 ### 38. All-in-One Travel, Expenses, and P-Card Management in One Convenient Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

They offer travel booking, expense management, and p-card features all in one place. Instead of having to use multiple platforms, we can handle everything within a single system, which makes it much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Reporting-wise, when we download transaction details and a refund is issued in the current month for a transaction that was originally authorized in a prior month, it won’t show up in this month’s report. That makes it harder to reconcile activity by the month the refund was actually processed.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan support helps alleviate the workload from employee travel inquiries. We used to act like travel agents, trying to resolve every question ourselves. While we still step in sometimes, having Navan support in place definitely reduces the pressure and makes it easier to manage day to day.

 ### 39. Buggy Booking Platform Leading to Financial Losses

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik R. | Web Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

At this point nothing. The idea of booking travel through Navan is laughable

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I don't like anything about Navan. The booking experience was horrible; it was buggy and led to increases in ticket prices. I got a ticket booked eventually, but due to issues with the booking form, my ticket went up by $500 and then another $150. I was booking a flight at the same time as my colleague, and even though we picked the same flights, his booking went through, but mine failed. The support was slow and unhelpful, and eventually, I had to book a more expensive option since Navan couldn't help amend my booking. They also couldn't amend the name on the ticket, causing more delays and expenses. The user interface was buggy, with constant issues like the 'In-policy' number randomly changing. It made finding the correct flight difficult and frustrating. We had similar issues with hotel bookings, getting random errors and delays until the rooms were sold out, forcing us to book more expensive options. Navan rewards seem useless since booking directly is much cheaper. Overall, it's surprising a travel booking platform struggles so much to actually book travel.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee travel booking

 ### 40. Excellent Travel Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia P. | Global Travel & Events Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan has significantly streamlined our corporate travel and expense management process. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and makes booking flights, hotels, and transportation quick and efficient. We especially appreciate the real-time visibility into travel plans, automated expense reporting, and responsive customer support. Overall, Navan has been a reliable partner that saves time, reduces administrative workload, and enhances the travel experience for both employees and travel managers. Highly recommended for organizations looking to modernize their travel program.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Sometimes they have small technical issues.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with employees' trips (e.g. cancelations)

 ### 41. Seamless, Easy to Use, and Backed by Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa Ann B. | Senior Event Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Seamless and easy to use. Minimal training needed for onboarding team members and support is great! Our Account Executive Ryan ensures our teams and I as the company Admin are well supported and informed.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There are some moments of clunkiness. For example: You can see where to download an invoice on a trip, however, you can't actually download an invoice for rental car etc...

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use and overall team buy in to use corp travel platform (all bookings in one place). Access to data readily available.

 ### 42. Higher Prices, Limited Options, and Unhelpful Support

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like that I can see everyone's itineraries in one place

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Costs of flights and hotels are often higher than booking directly, and there are times that not all flights or hotels are available through Navan. They also offer hotels through other discount sites (Expedia, Hotels.com, etc) which are frequently non refundable. We are charged a $30 fee for every trip, but the admins end up doing all of the research and work. It is hard to get assistance from Navan support staff, and when we do, it is frequently rescheduled, or we are told that it must be something we are doing wrong but not offering any help or guidance

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this time, it is more of a hurdle than a benefit.

 ### 43. Overpromised Onboarding and No Sandbox Make Launch Painful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the potential for what their system has to offer. The overall look and feel is great, as well as the ability to self-serve a lot on the admin side is a great feature (especially when comparing to Concur).

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Onboarding has been painful. We were told that it could be done in 7 days, but it took over 3 months to get to the point where we were forced to launch and the launch has been anything but smooth. The lack of a sandbox environment to do any testing has been a major part of our inability to launch timely - I dont know how larger companies go live on their platform with the ability to do little (if any) testing. Our support person is very friendly and builds great rapport, but the support we get on the technical side just isn't up to the caliber that we expected. Definitely am feeling like we were overpromised on the sales side and being unable to deliver those promises on the onboarding piece.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a more user-friendly UI/UX experience, while providing a better inventory of travel for our team.

 ### 44. Very slick and polished

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I feel like the automated expense reporting when I upload a receipt has improved.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Some way to pick a default category for certain expenses.

Every month I have to submit a receipt for broadband usage and mobile phone bill.

The automated entry does a good job when I upload the receipt, but I almost always have to manually select "cell phone". (It's a quirk of our finance reporting that "cell phone" is also the category for the broadband bill so the automated expense reporting doesn't pick it up)

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Submitting and tracking expenses. I don't have to pay with my own card anymore.

 ### 45. Progressive approach in feature but lacks in UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanjeet K. | Atlassian Administrator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Now I am using this app in Iphone and it works well without any lag and provide great results with respect to my needs. It understands well what information I am sharing with the photo even though I sometime don't upload it clearly.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Still UI needs to have an update so that it looks more appealing

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me in booking travel through the app and claiming my reimbursement when I upload my invoices. It works as a global app irrespective of country and currency. I upload invoice in INR and the app gets it calculated in USD for the reimbursement.

 ### 46. Effortless Travel Management with Exceptional Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kennedy H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I use Navan (Formerly TripActions) for travel management for my employee base. I love how it simplifies and streamlines the travel experience. The ease of use is something I really appreciate. The reporting feature is helpful because it allows me to view our travel spend broken down by departments, so I'm not chasing down data anymore. The initial setup was extremely simple and streamlined, making it a hassle-free experience.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The reporting feature could be customizable. I wish I could build out the reporting for exactly what I need to see.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan simplifies and streamlines the travel experience, making it easy to use. The reporting feature helps me view travel spend by departments, so I'm not chasing down data anymore.

 ### 47. Does the job well for managing company expenses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

One thing I've noticed recently is how smooth the expense approval process has gotten. Submitting and tracking approvals feels quicker than before, and I don't have to chase anyone to know where my expense stands.
The mobile experience has also improved. Snapping a receipt and logging it on the spot takes less than a minute, which is handy when you're traveling.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The search filters for hotels could be a bit more flexible. Sometimes the options feel limited depending on the location, and it would be nice to have more choices within the company policy range. Occasionally the app can feel a little slow when loading trip history or past expenses.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this app for my business travela and expenses management. Its been more than 2 years I am using it and really found is so helpful.

 ### 48. Top-Tier Support, User-Friendly Interface with Room for Expense Management Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love the support - truly top tier. Very quick, and when not quick it's because the support team is doing what they can to resolve items quickly. They're easy to work with. I like the app as well for the most part. I think it has a pretty friendly interface, easy to filter options for hotels and rentals especially. I don't have to click around too much to get where I need to.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The expenses section is a bit tedious. I can't submit multiple expenses at once and add details later; I have to upload a photo one at a time. Adding details to expenses or just adding receipts can be difficult, especially since it can reset to the top, making it time-consuming if I have a lot of expenses. In the app, when trying to book multi-city flights, I can't pick one flight and adjust the others from there like I can on desktop. I have a newer iPhone with the latest software.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan helps with booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and managing expenses. The support is top tier, and the app's friendly interface makes it easy to filter options without much clicking around, streamlining my travel arrangements.

 ### 49. Streamlined Travel Planning with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry T. | Senior Customer Experience, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the UI of the Navan app. I feel like it's easy to use and easy to navigate. It's better than any other app that I use, like Expedia and all the other stuff. Navan makes it so much easier to book my work trips and even personal trips. It makes everything so much easier and organized. All I have to do is go to the app, and I see my flight information, hotel information, and if I rent a car, everything is in order, so it makes everything much easier. The initial setup was very easy; all I had to do was log in to my work email, use the authorization code, and I was already in.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

To be honest nothing. I love the product.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to organize and simplify my work trips. It keeps all my flight, hotel, and car rental information in one place, making everything much easier and more organized.
