It's easy to get lost in the concepts of labelling, colouring cards, and the integrations into platforms like Google Drive, and it can become out of control. We created templates for our team, and set guidelines on how to use the platform. We also had a single perosn who managed the technical side of Trello.

  ### 30. Flexible Task Management, Needs Layout Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess S. | Safety and Compliance Manager / Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I love how Trello helps me organize my entire workload and keep track of a large number of tasks and details in one place. It keeps me organized and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. I like that Trello can be as simple or as complex as I need it to be. I find the Power-Ups extremely valuable because I can customize them to fit my workflow, especially the ability to snooze tasks, set reminders, and create recurring cards. I also found the initial setup very easy and quick to get used to.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The only thing I'd improve is list layout. Thinner lists or a vertical stacking option would make it easier to see more of a board at once. It would be helpful to have more control over list layout, such as an adjustable list width or a compact view to fit more lists on the screen. I can shrink a list but I cannot see anything besides the list name. An option to stack shorter lists vertically or switch between.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello helps me track a large number of tasks and details in one place, keeping me organized, prioritizing work, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

  ### 31. Effortless List Management Makes Organization a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I think I like the visuals more. I need to see things. I like that I can add a photo to represent the job and make it the cover. They have added a completion circle I can add when I know I am done along with the checklist that shows me my progress. I can look and see what needs to be done next. I like that I can also make cards into templates. I use Trello to manage my 2 businesses for Graphic Design and other projects. The projects are also easier to find by searching than on the couputer's search files feature. I say this because the project contents may not always be what I am searching for. Maybe I need to find an ad that has Cyndi's photo, not necessarily about Car Insurance or whatever. It was easy for me to implement and I have used it mostly the same for 5 or more years. I use it daily. I have it up on a computer now and I have the phone app. The phone app is great because sometimes you are where you can't write things down and I can start a Card/Job Ticket right away, even if it is fairly informal when I put it in.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I think the support could be better or offer a better AI Support. There may be addons that I can put on it to make it better but I have not fully researched it. There used to be an add on with numbers for each card and I liked it because it helped me see what was coming in and out first. I complemented the search but I think it can be better. It could use key words in cards better.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of keeping things organized. I get a lot of projects from a lot of people. Sometimes I just get a small piece of what I need and I store it on the card. Then as the project progresses I put all the items I need and directions on the card. Sometimes people text and sometimes they email. I even get items through Facebook Messenger and it lets me put all the items direcly on the card from my phone so that then when I can go to my computer when it is time to work I have everything I need.

  ### 32. Visual and Intuitive Task Management with Trello

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lahcen o. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I use Trello to organize my tasks and projects. The boards, lists, and cards help me visualize my workflow and keep everything organized. I appreciate its visual organization, as the board-lists-card system makes project management very intuitive. Features like labels, checklists, and due dates are great because they simplify my workflow. Labels help me quickly see the priority or category of each task without opening the card. Checklists let me break big tasks into small, manageable steps, making the work feel more organized and easy to track. Due dates keep me on schedule by reminding me of deadlines and helping me plan my time better. These tools make Trello much more efficient and easy to use. I also appreciate that the initial setup was straightforward. Creating boards, lists, and cards was easy, and the interface is simple enough that everyone on the team understood it quickly. We were able to start organizing our tasks right away without needing much guidance. Overall, I find Trello to be simple, visual, and very effective for organizing work.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

One thing that could be improved in Trello is the way it handles large boards. When there are too many cards, the board can feel a bit cluttered and harder to navigate. To handle large boards better, I think Trello could add more advanced filtering and grouping options. For example, being able to collapse lists or group cards by labels or due dates would make navigation easier.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to organize my tasks and projects. It helps me plan my day, keep track of projects, and saves me time. Its visual organization with boards, lists, and cards makes my workflow clear and efficient, especially compared to spreadsheets.

  ### 33. Easy-to-Use Trello with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al M. | Founder / Shareholder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

We always found Trello easy to use, once you got to grips with the concept of cards. It's an easy UX, and behind the scenes there's actually a lot you can do to customise it.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

There's very little that I dislike about Trello. Like a lot of platforms it can encourage you to overcomplicate things, but that's really down to usage.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's ultimately a platform for planning tasks out, in a visual way. It's still powerful, but ultimately it's easy to use.

  ### 34. Intuitive Kanban for Project Tracking, Needs Improved Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garren S. | Founding Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I really like the Kanban view of Trello. It's incredibly flexible, allowing me to create and adapt different project management tools according to the specific project or team requirements. This flexibility in Trello is fantastic as it accommodates various management approaches without complications. Additionally, the ease of use is a standout feature, making it accessible for non-technical individuals who can quickly grasp and utilize the platform effectively. Whether it's for tracking projects or coordinating tasks across different teams, Trello's simplicity and user-friendly interface make it a valuable tool in my daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Some of Trello's integration is not as smooth as it should be. It doesn't integrate well with other tools as much as I would like. When you have a lot of tickets or tracking items inside of a task, it can be difficult to differentiate to-dos. It makes it a little bit more difficult to use.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello solved the problem of knowing what work we need to work on next, what the rest of the team is doing, and coordinating our projects across different teams.

  ### 35. Visual Organization with Customizable Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I primarily use Trello for staying organized with client work and deliverables, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks, from simple tasks to long-term planning. I appreciate Trello's ability to help me keep track of competing priorities and manage tasks that need completion, which gives me peace of mind knowing things won't be forgotten. I like the visual layout, which shows at a glance what's in progress, done, blocked, and what's currently moving. This visual snapshot helps me quickly see what needs to be done and what has been accomplished. Another feature I really appreciate is its customizability for various workflows. Whether I need to create lists, checklists, due dates, or labels, Trello allows me to adapt to the specific needs of different projects.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I could see some limitations for projects that require more advanced features like time tracking and resource allocation. In some cases, more robust management is needed, so having extra features like time tracking, reporting, or task dependencies could be helpful for more complex things.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to stay organized on client work, track tasks and deadlines, and customize workflows. It helps ensure everything is completed on time, providing peace of mind that tasks aren't forgotten.

The ability to see all tasks at a glance and drag them from 'to-do' to 'done' is not only intuitive but also immensely satisfying.
