## About Trainual
Trainual is the training, learning, and knowledge management platform that connects your entire company to how work actually gets done. Every role. Every process. Every policy. All in one place — searchable, assignable, and built to keep every team member aligned and accountable from day one to one thousand. As companies grow more complex, consistency becomes harder to maintain. The way things get done varies by manager, standards slip across locations, and getting new teammates up to speed takes longer than it should. Trainual fixes that by giving your company one central system — where everything your team needs to know is documented, organized by role, and delivered to the right person at the right time. Trainual is the go-to platform for teams across various industries including business services, real estate, construction, healthcare, technology, marketing, legal and cleaning. Build role-based training paths that get every new teammate up to speed the same way, every time. Standardize how work gets done across departments, locations, and roles — then track it to make sure it's actually happening. And when something changes, update it once and it's live everywhere. The built-in AI assistant knows everything your company knows — so instead of pinging a manager or digging through a shared drive, your team gets instant, accurate answers the moment they need them. Think of it as your smartest teammate, always on, always right. Assign responsibilities. Track progress. Automate accountability. No micromanaging required. The result? Faster ramp times. Consistent execution. Higher-performing people.

## Trainual Reviews
 ### 1. Makes AS9100 Audits a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor M. | Director Of Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual has significantly improved how we document, share, and standardize our AS9100 aerospace processes. It’s become a centralized hub where our staff can easily access the information they need to understand policies, complete training, and reference procedures without relying on verbal handoffs or tribal knowledge. The e-signature functionality is especially valuable, allowing us to verify that employees have reviewed and acknowledged their training, ensuring compliance and accountability.

By turning informal knowledge into formal, structured content, we've been able to create repeatable processes that support consistency and quality across the organization. Trainual has become a daily tool for us, especially impactful during onboarding new hires can engage with both foundational and advanced concepts before hands-on training, which saves time and helps them become productive team members much faster.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

While Trainual is a powerful tool, there are some limitations that become increasingly challenging as an organization scales. As a company with hundreds of trainings across multiple business units and shared services, the lack of a folder or hierarchical structure makes it difficult for admins and content authors to organize and navigate the growing library of content.

We’ve raised this concern through our Trainual point of contact, but the response “Our founder doesn’t believe in folder structures” seems to disregard the needs of larger organizations. That mindset may work for small businesses, but for companies with 300+ employees and complex operational needs, it becomes a serious bottleneck to efficiency and content management. A scalable organization needs scalable structure, and currently, Trainual’s interface doesn’t fully support that.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual has helped us solve one of the biggest operational pain points in manufacturing: capturing and scaling knowledge in a consistent, accessible way. Before Trainual, much of our training relied on tribal knowledge, verbal instruction, or outdated documents buried in shared drives. That made it difficult to maintain compliance, onboard effectively, and ensure process consistency especially across business units and roles with highly technical requirements.

With Trainual, we’ve been able to centralize our AS9100-compliant processes, standard operating procedures, and safety training into structured, searchable modules. It’s streamlined onboarding by allowing new hires to complete foundational and advanced training independently before needing hands-on time. That gives us back valuable time while ensuring that everyone receives the same baseline knowledge.

The ability to verify completion and understanding through e-signatures has also helped us tighten our compliance and accountability, particularly for quality audits and internal reviews. Overall, Trainual empowers our teams with clarity and saves us time, while building a stronger foundation for growth and standardization.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for such a thoughtful and detailed review! We’re thrilled that Trainual is helping your team streamline AS9100 compliance, scale knowledge across business units, and speed up onboarding with consistency. That’s exactly the kind of impact we aim for.

We hear your feedback on structure loud and clear. As your library grows, we know content organization becomes more critical—and we’re actively exploring ways to better support scaling teams like yours. Appreciate you sharing so openly and being part of the conversation. We’re grateful to be part of your operational toolkit.

 ### 2. User-Friendly for All Ages with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Great user-friendly experience for all generations and good support

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Normal users cannot download trainings but need to be an admin

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting our business and team setup for systemic growth

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! We're so happy to hear that Trainual has helped to create a great experience for your whole team.

 ### 3. Functional tool for training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katia Darely V. | Learning and Development Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The platform is intuitive and easy to work with, which makes the overall experience smooth. Setting everything up was quick and didn’t require much technical effort, which I really appreciated.

Support has been reliable and responsive whenever we’ve needed help. We use the platform frequently as part of our training process, and it fits well into our workflow.

One of the things I like most is the ability to integrate external tools like Supademo, PDFs, links, videos, and more. It adds a lot of flexibility and allows us to create a much richer and more engaging experience for users.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The platform is generally easy to navigate, but one issue I've noticed is that when you're on a page and try to go back, it sometimes redirects you to a different page instead of the one you were previously on. This can be confusing and disrupts the experience.

Getting started was simple and didn’t require much setup, which made onboarding smooth. Support has been helpful and responsive whenever we’ve had questions.

We use the platform regularly as part of our training, and overall it offers a solid range of features. However, I’d really like to see some additional capabilities for managers—specifically, the ability to track how much time users spend on each topic and to limit the number of test attempts. That would give us better visibility and control over the learning process.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main problems it has solved for us is making our trainings more dynamic and interactive. Being able to integrate external tools like PDFs, videos, links, and Supademo has significantly improved engagement and content variety.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear Trainual has been intuitive to set up and that it's become a reliable part of your training workflow. It’s great to know that the flexibility to integrate external tools has made your content more dynamic and engaging—that’s exactly the kind of experience we aim to support.

We also appreciate your feedback on the navigation quirks and feature requests around tracking and test attempts. Insights like these help us continue to evolve the platform in ways that better serve managers and admins.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!

 ### 4. Didn't realize how fun documenting processes could be!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim D. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

There are so many things I could say here but if I had to pick the thing I like the best is the format of processes and how easy it is to break things down into steps, and make those steps clear and easy for users to follow.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I get a little bit lost assigning things to people or ensuring that people have access to what they need. But that is mostly due to me needing to spend more time in the system.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual gives us one place to find all the processes that we need to run our company. Everyone can be given the access they need to find the processes that affect them, and can inquire on the processes others follow so that they can see the big picture. Obtaining sign-off has become easier and when employees have questions, it's easy to say, did you check Trainual?!

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> We love hearing this—thank you! 🙌 It’s awesome to know that breaking down and documenting your processes has not only been productive, but actually fun. That’s exactly the experience we’re aiming for.

You're not alone when it comes to assigning access—there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of Roles and Permissions, it really clicks. And our support team is always here to help speed that up.

We’re so glad Trainual is helping your team stay aligned and empowering everyone with the “why” behind the work. Keep building—we’re cheering you on!

 ### 5. Intuitive Platform with Excellent Training Resources

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arrick H. | Senior Lead Tech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The platform offers a straightforward user experience and an intuitive learning curve. Their training videos are informative, providing clear examples of the features and applications available within Trainual.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

There are some options missing that I would like and navigating can be difficult and takes a min to load pages.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training new employees can be a time-intensive process. Trainual streamlines onboarding by delivering information efficiently through engaging and interactive methods.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the great feedback! We’re so glad Trainual’s making your onboarding smoother and more engaging — and we’ll keep working to speed things up and expand what’s possible. 🚀

 ### 6. Trainual makes it so easy to document our processes easily and efficiently.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianne O. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The ease of use and the variety of ways I can put info into Trainual. The incorporation of AI has also been very helpful .

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Not everyone in our company has access so sometimes the info does get stuck and we forgot we even have it available.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had no standard practices, no training guide, no sops, no handbook. We now have all of that and more and Trainual made it so easy and fast to get up to speed . Having a standard way of doing a task now and having that training in place has allowed us to grow and get to the next level.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> It’s amazing to hear how Trainual has helped you go from no documented processes to a full set of SOPs, guides, and training—all in one place. We’re so glad the platform (and AI tools!) have made it easier to standardize and scale, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.

 ### 7. Trainual has changed the entire trajectory of my business in ways I could not have imagined! 🚀🚀

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul C. | Agency Owner / Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

What I have found to be most invaluable is the education I received while attending Trainual University, which taught me about the different ways people learn, process, and retain information. Trainual has made me a better leader!

The support is unmatched, from implementation calls to ongoing training calls. Trainual has UNDERpromised and OVERdelivered, which is quite rare these days!

CONSTANT UPDATES - they do not stop improving and getting better! There are always updates happening, but more importantly, just as they teach in their university, they explain it to you, the user, in the same way, explaining why and how it will help.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

For me, there haven't t been any downsides. TAKE CAUTION, do not get sticker shock and let the price scare you. This is an INVESTMENT that is worth every dime. HOW MUCH DO YOU VALUE YOUR TIME?

One thing that I am grateful for is that the discount for paying annually was to good to pass up. I can honestly say that had I paid monthly I am not sure that I would have continued.

IT IS COMPLETELY UNREALISTIC to think you can build out EFFECTIVE SOP's in 30 days.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding - It has streamlined the process in ways that we have never seen before. I no longer spend time saying the same thing over, and over, and over, and.....

Re-Training: We operate in a 1099 environment. For individuals who are "checking the box" per se; we are no longer have the same trainings repeatedly. We can simply assign coursework to them that is relevant to the areas they are struggling in.

Company process and procedure - I no longer have to do a three hour "boot camp" once a month, Trainual does it for me!

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Wow—what an incredible review! We’re beyond honored to hear that Trainual has impacted your business (and leadership!) in such a meaningful way. 🚀 Hearing that Trainual University helped shift how you think about training and communication is exactly what we hope for.

Huge thanks for the kind words about our support team and ongoing updates—we’re always working to improve, and it means a lot that you’ve noticed (and appreciated!) the why behind each change.

Also—100% agree: building truly effective SOPs takes time, and your note about the value of investing in your time is spot on. We’re so glad you’re part of the Trainual community and can’t wait to see how your business continues to evolve!

 ### 8. Good! Helping get our SOP's implemented for our team finally after 8 years.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Support team is very helpful. Subject - topic - steps streamlined in a good way. Loom recording was very helpful to begin - 25 free videos before having to upgrade but it was a great trial run and then support told me how to embed and upload videos in a different way. I would say easy to use one you got familiar with the system. We have not gotten to the point of implementing it fully but can't wait to see and direct team members to certain sections for answers/protocols.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Organization/flow can get confusing for me. I know it is set up so you can make different subjects and send those out to whatever member/group that it is applicable for but I wish there was a different way to have it all flow so I can easily see what is applicable to each role. Org chart could be better for smaller based business.. I found a work around with support but sometimes it isn't only 1 person reporting to 1 person, there is some cross over

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlined SOP's for a small company that has been in business for 10 years and now we are looking to open this up and as our business grows and the turnover rate for employees we can make sure we have these documents for onboarding, continuing education and rules and regulations that apply to a locally owned tree business.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Love hearing this, thank you! Helping you finally get those SOPs off the ground after 8 years? That’s the kind of progress we live for! 🙌

We're so glad the Loom trial and our support team gave you a solid head start, and we can't wait for you to fully roll it out and start pointing your team to the right answers, right when they need them.

We hear you on the organization and org chart feedback, especially for small teams with overlapping roles. We're always working to improve usability for all business sizes, and your insights are super helpful. We'll make sure the team hears this feedback. On organization and flow, our customer experience team can totally help provide some additional ideas or strategies to make sure you're viewing things the way that works best for you.

Appreciate you bringing Trainual into your growing business—excited to see what’s next for your team!

 ### 9. Gamechanger for Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I love that I am easily able to get information to all of our employees, translate articles for those who speak English as a second language, and post pictures and videos. It's very easy to create quizzes to test knowledge and I like being able to see who has completed which topic. Adding new users and changing what groups they belong to is very easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I wish there were more options for editing text inside of content - you can only change the colors for each type of text, like headline and body, not individual words or lines of text in a paragraph. I also would like to see a way to reactivate archived users - we have had a few people leave on good terms and be rehired, and they have to be created all over again.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small business and a lot of our SOPs were not written down. Trainual has enabled us to create guidelines and quickly share information. When I went on vacation, I was easily able to create guides for the people who would be taking over my duties.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Hearing how Trainual’s helping you document SOPs and keep everyone informed (even when you’re on vacation!) truly makes us smile. Your suggestions about text editing and reactivating users are super helpful, we’ll share them with our product team. Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review!

 ### 10. Trainual is my FAVORITE tool on the job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taj M. | HR | Finance | Technology Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Empowers any size team to standardize their policies and processes to ensure consistency and makes it simple to organize pretty much ANY information that you need to share and have accessible to your team. My favorite thing I have learned and ALWAYS follow: if I have answered the same question 3 times, it needs a Trainual! Customer Support is TOP NOTCH. We use Trainual every single day. I had no problem at all implementing it into our work life and habits. Just overall the BEST most useful tool out there.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I wish I didn't have to upgrade to get the other features. I spend a lot of money on it already. The upgrade isn't TOO expensive comparatively but it puts it over my budget and that makes me sad.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to standardize our onboarding process using Trainual and that's been priceless in improving employee experience at the front end. It's been extremely helpful being able to hold employees accountable for keeping current on their assigned training materials and enforcing periodic refreshers. As the administrator for our Google Workspace and shared drives, I am SO thrilled to not have to deal with 14 million versions of the "same" training material and now it is all born in, and lives in, Trainual. ONE place for all the things. So streamlined and simple to manage!

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Taj — your review seriously made our whole team smile!

“If I’ve answered it 3 times, it needs a Trainual” is officially going on a mug. 😄 Love that you’re using Trainual every day and that it’s become the place for all your processes, training, and shared know-how. That kind of consistency and clarity is exactly what we’re here for.

Totally get the budgeting piece too — and we appreciate you being upfront about it. We’re always thinking about how to pack in as much value as possible, so feedback like yours is really helpful as we grow.

Huge thanks for the kind words and the love for our support team. We’re so glad Trainual’s been a game-changer for you — and we’re always here if you need anything!

 ### 11. Force Home Service and Trainual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle C. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

We've been using Trainual for a couple of years now, and it’s been a total game-changer for how we manage our processes and documentation. It’s super easy to organize everything from SOPs to onboarding guides, and our team always knows exactly where to find what they need.

The platform is clean, intuitive, and keeps everyone on the same page—which has been a huge help as we’ve grown. I’m really looking forward to building even more into Trainual in the years ahead. It’s become a key part of how we run our business.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

In the beginning it was a little more of a strucle to create documentation in other plateforms and impliment into Trainual. All these have been addressed and the ease of use now is much more helpful.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s super user-friendly, both for building out content and for team members to access what they need. Whether we’re onboarding someone new or updating a process, Trainual helps keep everyone on the same page.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for sharing this, and huge shoutout to the Force Home Service team! We’re thrilled Trainual has become such a core part of how you run the business. 🙌

It’s great to hear how things have evolved—from those early struggles with importing content to now having a smooth, streamlined system that keeps everyone aligned. That growth is exactly what we love to see.

We’re excited to keep building right alongside you. Thanks for being part of the Trainual journey!

 ### 12. Game-changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoismar Alejandra S. | Process Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

We've been using Trainual at our hair product manufacturing company, and it's been a game-changer. The platform allows us to create customized training modules that perfectly fit our unique processes, from production techniques to safety protocols. It’s easy to organize all our training materials in one place, making it accessible for every team member across different departments. With Trainual, we can ensure that all employees, whether new or experienced, stay up-to-date with industry standards and internal best practices. It has improved consistency in our operations and saved us significant time when onboarding new staff. We highly recommend Trainual for any company in manufacturing looking to enhance their training process!

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The only thing I haven't liked about Trainual is that I haven't been able to upload videos directly to the app, as I have to use an external drive. Everything else has been perfect.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the things Trainual allowed us to do efficiently was train our technical staff. They can access the app, read the training materials, watch videos, and take the test.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Yoismar — this is such an awesome review. Thank you for sharing!

We love hearing how Trainual’s helping streamline training across your production and safety workflows. It’s great to know it’s saving time and keeping your team aligned, no matter the department or experience level.

Also, really appreciate the note about video uploads. Just a heads up — you can upload videos directly into Trainual without using an external drive. We’ve linked a quick resource to help walk you through it!

Thanks again for the kind words — and for making Trainual part of your process! 💜

 ### 13. Trainual is Very Useful in Professional Spaces

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I really enjoy that Trainual is easy to navigate; its structure is very organized and straightforward. Whether I'm navigating through modules as a viewer, or creating content to teach others, the tools make it easy to digest and create material in a simple and stress-free way.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

It's difficult to find downsides about Trainual, but if I have to pick one, I'd say that it's a bit distracting or necessary that my training progress changes to incomplete whenever my teammates add a new page or publish additional content to a Trainual that I previously completed.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an audio editor that is constantly switching been different podcast shows, my priority is assuring that I know the guidelines and rules for each show so that they meet the correct standards. Not only that, but it's important that everyone on my team knows the nuances of each show. Trainual helps us solve this problem before it even becomes the problem. New hires use Trainual to learn how to edit a show, and if necessary, more experienced editors like me can reference previous Trainuals to get a quick refresh on the practices and protocol.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> We’re so glad Trainual’s making things easier for you and your team! Thanks for calling out the progress reset, we know that can be frustrating and will share it with our product team as we look for ways to make tracking feel more seamless. We're grateful to have you as part of the Trainual community!

 ### 14. A capable and easy solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ira S. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual offers the ability to handle several different use cases that include policies and procedures, context-sensitive help solutions, and general communications. All of this is provided in a relatively easy user experience. When onboarding, I also found the help and services team to be very friendly and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I would like to see a little more granularity in the ability to group different sets of training materials. This is a minor inconvenience that was solvable through me making a few adjustments to my planning.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our initial need was to provide context-sensitive help within our practice management system. Additionally, we needed a way to manage and ensure compliancy with distribution of company policies.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Trainual is helping you cover everything from policy management to context-sensitive help—all in one place. 🙌

Appreciate the shoutout to our onboarding and support team (they’ll be thrilled!) and your note about organizing content. Totally hear you on wanting more granularity, and we’re always working on ways to make content management even more flexible. Stay tuned for some updates coming soon!

Thanks for choosing Trainual to support your team’s training and compliance needs!

 ### 15. Super helpful for training and keeping things organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiara L. | Director of Systems Implementation and Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual made our training process way easier and actually kind of fun. I love how easy it is to build training that doesn’t feel boring. You can use emojis, GIFs, videos—whatever works best for your team. It keeps everything in one place, so people stop asking the same questions repeatedly. It’s super user-friendly and makes onboarding and updating SOPs simple. I also like that you can track who has seen what, assign tests, and ensure no one misses anything important. Huge time saver for our team!

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

There are a few limits in terms of design—sometimes I wish I could move things around more freely. The analytics/reporting could be better, especially when you want to see how engaged people are. But overall, it does what we need it to do.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual is helping us solve the chaos of inconsistent training and scattered info. Before, we had people learning things differently depending on who trained them, or asking the same questions over and over. Now, everyone gets the same info, in the same way, and we can update it all in one spot when things change. It’s saved us tons of time, improved consistency, and made onboarding way smoother.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

 ### 16. A Game-Changer for Process Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon C. | Learning & Process Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Centralized Knowledge Hub: Everything from SOPs to onboarding materials lives in one place, making it easy for new hires and seasoned team members to find what they need quickly.
Structured Onboarding: You can create clear step-by-step training paths for different roles, which ensures consistency and reduces the burden on supervisors.
Role-Based Assignments: You can assign content to specific roles or individuals, so team members only see what's relevant to them.
Searchable & Easy to Update: Information is searchable and can be updated in real time, so your team always has the latest version without needing to reprint or re-share documents.
Accountability & Tracking: Built-in progress tracking and test/quizzes make it easy to verify comprehension and completion.

Scalability: Ideal for growing teams-you can onboard faster without sacrificing quality.
Consistency: Ensures everyone learns and performs tasks the same way.
Time-Saving: Cuts down on repetitive explanations and shadowing.
Professionalism: Makes your training look polished and thorough, which improves employee confidence and perception.
Remote-Ready: Great for hybrid or remote teams who can't always train in person.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Search Limitations: The search function can be finicky or less intelligent than expected. If content isn't well organized or tagged, it may not always surface the most relevant results.
Quiz Functionality is Basic: While quizzes help with accountability, the options are limited (e.g., multiple choice or true/false only) and lack deeper testing methods like simulations or open-ended questions.
Content Can Feel Siloed: There's a lack of smooth cross-linking or referencing between different topics and processes, making complex workflows harder to follow holistically.
Initial Setup Time: Although intuitive, building your training library from scratch requires a significant upfront investment.
Mobile App is Basic: The mobile experience is usable but not robust, which can be frustrating for field employees who rely on mobile access.
Content Page Organization is Cluttered: The main Content page lists everything in one long view, which becomes overwhelming as your library grows. There's currently no way to create collapsible folders or visual separation by department, which makes it harder to keep things clean and intuitive, especially for companies with multiple teams like HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Admin, etc.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As Godby grows, it becomes harder to train new hires consistently, ensure everyone is following the same processes, keep SOPs and knowledge from getting lost, scale operations without creating confusion, and holding employees accountable. Trainual is helping us solve it by centralizing all our training and procedures in one searchable, accessible location. It standardized onboarding and task execution so every employee is trained the same way. It also saves time by reducing repeat explanation and shadowing. Trainual enables accountability with tracking and quizzes to verify understanding. It also supports growth by making our systems and processes scalable. In conclusion, Trainual replaces tribal knowledge and one-off training with a sytemized, repeatable process, so that Godby runs smoother, and our people are more confident and capable.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Brandon — thank you for such a comprehensive and insightful review!

It’s incredibly rewarding to hear how Trainual is supporting Godby’s growth by bringing structure, consistency, and scalability to your onboarding and training processes. From reducing tribal knowledge to building confidence across your team, it’s clear you’re putting the platform to great use — and we’re honored to be a part of that.

We really appreciate your honest feedback on where we can improve too. From search intelligence to mobile experience, quizzes, and content organization — every one of these points is helpful and valid. We’re always working to make the platform more intuitive and powerful, and feedback like this helps guide that progress.

Thanks again for sharing your experience in such detail. If you ever want to dive deeper into any of your suggestions, our team would love to chat. 💜

 ### 17. Great platform, but needs some minor tweaks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Credentialing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

It's fairly intuitive and user friendly, and offers a wide array of useful tools to vary the trainings I'm writing.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I would like to see easier access to a basic color pallet instead of just the pastels on display. I realize I can utilize hex codes from a different site (and do), but it would be much more convenient if you made them available directly on Trainual.

I also notice that you changed how I can size cut and paste inserts. It used to be that I could click on a corner and JUST adjust the size, but now that also causes the insert to move around. It's far more cumbersome that way. I wish the methods for moving the inserts and adjusting their size were completely separate.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate that it allows us to consolidate our policies and procedures into one location, and then divide out training based on role.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hi James — thanks so much for the thoughtful review!

We’re glad to hear Trainual’s been a helpful hub for consolidating your policies and procedures, and that the flexibility in training tools is making a difference in how you build and deliver content.

Really appreciate the specific feedback around the color palette and content resizing — those are great observations. We totally understand how small design tweaks can make a big impact on your workflow, and insights like yours help us continue improving the experience for everyone.

Thanks again for sharing — and for helping us get better with every piece of feedback!

 ### 18. An amazing tool to quickly and effectively capture process details and ensure effective training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mindy R. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual is extremely easy to use both for content builders and users alike.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Reporting options could be improved as well as a training matrix view.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides ease to quickly build out trainings that are structured to be effective. Allows tracking of assigned trainings and reporting of completed trainings for audit purposes.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Mindy — thanks for the love!

Stoked to hear Trainual’s making life easier for both builders and learners. That’s the sweet spot we’re always aiming for 🙌

Appreciate you calling out the reporting and training matrix ideas too. We hear you — better visibility and insights are always on our minds. Feedback like yours definitely helps guide where we go next.

Thanks again for taking a moment to share your experience — it means a lot!

 ### 19. Training staff is so much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison H. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I like that trainual is very user friendly and it does not take forever to create projects. I also like how many features it allows me to use & how easy it makes it to read for staff. It is super easy to track progress. I was able to also meet with our Trainual specialist who was super helpful when I was needing a refresh on how to use Trainual again.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I wish that we could do more "sub" topics in a topic. I don't really have any other issues with Trainual.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time by allowing training materials to be at the hands of staff which leads to less interruptions.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> This just made our day, thank you! 🙌 We’re so glad Trainual’s making life easier for both you and your team (and shoutout to our Customer Experience team for being rockstars). We have some super exciting updates coming this summer relating to topics and organization, stay tuned for more details!

 ### 20. AI Test Creation Is Impressive, But Loading Can Be Slow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali O. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I love the ai feature of reading the content and creating test

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

sometimes its really slow to load which sucks.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we grew from a team of 8 people to now 30, the onboarding and training process is streamlined and i dont have to personally train each and every person. also when corrections need to be made we can send them to rewatch videos again to relearn the info

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Love hearing that AI test creation is making your life easier — and congrats on the team growth! We know slow loading is a drag, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to speed things up.

 ### 21. It is super easy to organize our training materials and get new team members up to speed quickly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geraldine L. | Training Delivery Lead, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

It's straightforward. It simplifies onboarding and training by putting all our SOPs, guides, and processes in one easy-to-navigate platform that helps us save time and keeps everything consistent for the team.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

None so far. It has been smooth and reliable to use. It’s user friendly and well organized, and so far, I haven’t run into any issues or limitations that would affect our training flow.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual is solving the problem of inconsistent training and scattered documentation. By centralizing all our processes, SOPs, and training materials, it ensures that every new hire gets the same quality onboarding experience. It also saves us time and helps maintain accountability across the team.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thank you for the kind words, Geraldine! We’re so glad Trainual is helping you keep onboarding consistent, organized, and efficient. That’s exactly what we’re here for. 🙌

It’s awesome to hear that things have been smooth and user-friendly so far. We love knowing we’re saving your team time while making training easier and more reliable for every new hire.

Thanks for being part of the Trainual community!

 ### 22. Easy Process Uploads and Team Sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I love being able to upload a process and send it out to the team and they can refer back to it.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I struggle with the structure. It feels like there are a few limitations to how I can structure my information. I don't like having long lists of documents to look through.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring all team members have access to current processes

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for sharing! We’re glad Trainual makes it easy to share processes and keep everything accessible for your team. We hear you on structure and long lists — that feedback’s really helpful as teams think about how they organize content.

 ### 23. Trainual makes documenting easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The training videos are amazing and show by example what you should be doing with your own training and documentation to encourage widespread adoption. They show you how to chunk out material, add memes and images for humor and clarification, and they build quizzes for you. We had a hodge-podge of documentation scattered across Google and Microsoft documents, in various drives, or just living on people's computers. Trainual helped us bring them all together and makes it easy to view completion rates for team members training on the documentation.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

There really are very few downsides. Even moving existing materials into Trainual is easy and doesn't require much reformatting. To make documents truly engaging with images, graphics, call outs, etc does take time, but much of that is optional.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual simplifies organizing, updating, and adding onboarding and training materials.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Wow, this is such a solid breakdown — thank you for taking the time!

We love that the training videos helped guide your team’s setup and bring some fun and clarity to the process (memes ftw). And bringing all that scattered documentation into one place? Major win.

Totally fair that adding visuals takes a bit of time — but glad it’s mostly optional and worth it in the end. Appreciate you sharing your experience! 💜

 ### 24. Great resource to house SOP's and for New Hire training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micheal T. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Everything is housed in one spot. There are lots of suggestions for templates. Good support

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I don't like when it was switched to groups. Employees that log in just see a bunch of processes and there is no real order or organization so it makes it hard to find what they are looking for.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have our SOP's documented and in one place.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey, Micheal!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We’re glad to hear that you love having everything in one spot and find the template suggestions and support helpful — that’s what we aim for! 🙌

We understand your frustration about the switch to groups. A clear structure is crucial for easy navigation, and we appreciate your feedback. We’re looking into ways to improve, and we appreciate your transparency with your experience.

Thanks again for your insights!

 ### 25. Easy, Organized, and Seamless Step-by-Step Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Humar R. | Shipping Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The process is straightforward and well-organized, with each step clearly laid out before moving on to the next.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

So far, I haven't come across anything about Trainual that I dislike.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual has really helped me by providing clear, step-by-step instructions for procedures, making it much easier for me to do things correctly. This has been a great benefit to me.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the kind words! We’re so glad the step-by-step clarity is making your experience smooth and stress-free 🙌 If anything ever does come up, our team’s always here to help — but we love hearing it’s been all good so far!

 ### 26. Excellent for Onboarding and Refreshers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla O. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual is great for onboarding and refreshers.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Not as easily customizable and the tracking of assignments is not always accurate.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training of platforms and updated workflows or policies.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the feedback! We’re glad Trainual’s been helpful for onboarding and refreshers, and we appreciate the notes on customization and tracking. We'll be sure our product teams sees this feedback and takes it into consideration as we continue to improve!

 ### 27. Huge fan of Trainual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I love the ability to create tests and use AI to generate the questions. I've been using Trainual for over 5 years and use it to store all our training documentation. I like the ability to create "groups" to lump several different topics together.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Sometimes it feels like data is buried within subject > topic > steps and it's hard to remember where to find things. We have a TON of data stored in trainual so it feels like "where did I put that?" We utilize the search bar for key words a lot.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual is our primary source of key information like standard operating procedures and problem solving solutions. We also utilize this for employee's first day so they can learn about our company and their role in the big picture.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Huge thanks for sticking with us for over 5 years 🙌 That’s incredible! Love hearing how you’re using AI to build tests, group topics, and keep all your training docs in one place.

Totally get the “where did I put that?” moment — especially with a ton of content. Glad the search bar helps, and we’re always working on ways to make finding things even easier. 💜

 ### 28. User Friendly and Easy Accountability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison W. | Implementation / IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Versatile access from laptop, tablet or phone. Easy to navigate for users.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Some navigation is a little clunky, would be nice if there were menus to access other pages more easily. Formatting tools are sometimes glitchy.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We still roll out most new initiatives and training in person, but having Trainual for those topics at the time of roll out helps act as a backstop for people who need repeated information or need a refresher down the road.

Staff repeatedly state how nice it is to have a video they can watch, rewind and pause for some more technical aspects.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Allison, thank you so much for the glowing review! Hearing Trainual’s become that go-to backup for your team is what we live for! Glad the videos are helping with those trickier topics, and we appreciate the heads-up on navigation and formatting as we’re always looking for ways to smooth things out.

 ### 29. Everything in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander F. | Corporate Systems Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I love the AI feature that when you ask a question it pulls any information you have in trainual. I love how I can link specific content to the tools and software we use. I overall like the features that they have come out with so far, quizzes, flow charts. It is user friendly, and has an app you can do training on the go.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Importing documents, require formatting. Somethings are harder to get on than others.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working on gamefication which is something I really am trying to get done with my company.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We love hearing that you're enjoying the AI search, quizzes, flowcharts, and the flexibility to link content to your tools and even train on the go. That’s exactly what we built Trainual for! 🙌

Appreciate the note on importing and formatting, we know it can be a bit finicky, and we're always working to make that smoother. And yes, gamification is definitely something we've been noodling on, so stay tuned!

Thanks for being part of the Trainual journey!

 ### 30. Essential for Training Consistency and Scaling Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emir I. | Dispatch Operations & Quality Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual is incredibly easy to use and has helped standardize our onboarding and training processes across departments. The ability to create structured, step-by-step SOPs and assign them to teams ensures nothing falls through the cracks. I especially appreciate the tracking features that let us verify training completion and compliance.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve when setting up the initial structure, and customizing the interface to match our branding is somewhat limited. I'd also love to see more advanced reporting options and deeper integrations with other platforms we use.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual has helped us eliminate inconsistencies in training and ensure every new employee receives the same, up-to-date onboarding. It’s especially beneficial in our fast-paced environment, where documenting and updating SOPs is crucial. We've also improved accountability, as team members can’t skip steps without it being tracked.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for the great review! We love hearing how Trainual is helping you create consistency, improve accountability, and keep onboarding smooth across the board, music to our ears! 🎶

Totally hear you on the initial setup and branding limitations. We're always working on ways to make customization and reporting even better, so feedback like yours is super helpful.

Appreciate you being part of the Trainual fam and here’s to scaling smarter! 🚀

 ### 31. Effortless Training Tracking and Certification with Trainual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual makes it easy to see if people have completed the training we've assigned them. It's also very helpful that it can auto generate a certificate once someone has completed their training.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

It's not very easy to export information into a spreadsheet.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual is making it easier for us to get our training material and SOPs to our employees. We have employees all over Southern Ontario and it's difficult to get everyone together to do in person training. Trainual allows us to make sure everyone is updated frequently.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for sharing! We’re happy to hear Trainual’s helping your team stay on top of training and certifications — especially with everyone spread out. Great callout on exporting data — that’s an area we’re looking to make more flexible and user-friendly. Stay tuned for some exciting new updates coming soon. Appreciate the feedback!

 ### 32. Easiest Way To Onboard and Train

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley P. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I think the design of Trainual makes it incredibly user friendly at all levels. I also appreciate the integrations with Loom for video recording, as well as the easy ability to link other content. Their support staff and continued learning also has been a huge help and makes me believe we could stick with them for a long time.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

There's very little I don't like about Trainual. They are extremely receptive to feedback and are constantly finding new ways to improve.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We aren't a huge office, but as we grow, we really needed help setting up our SOPs and onboarding new interns or staff. It's become a fun way to help my staff get to know one another, builds collaboration, and helps us easily cross train across departments and roles.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Ashley — this review totally made our day. Thank you!

Love that Trainual’s been a smooth ride for your team — and even more so that it’s helped make onboarding and cross-training fun (music to our ears 🎶). Also, big cheers for the support shoutout — they’ll be stoked to hear it!

And quick heads up: you can actually upload videos directly to Trainual now — no need to go through Loom or YouTube if you don’t want to. Just drag, drop, and done.

Appreciate you sharing your experience — we’re lucky to be part of your team’s growth journey 🙌

 ### 33. Amazing cheatsheet for processes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela V. | Senior Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The ease with which you can search for the processes and also edit them on the go. I can include videos and pictures and make everything super digestible for those who are reading the instructions I am giving.
Also, once everyone got the gist of how it worked it was easy to implement it in our daily tasks as for some processes we need to consult the information we stored on a daily making it one of the most frequently used tools we have at our disposal.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Until now I am pretty happy with the tool.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have the step by step instructions to every process there so whenever someone has a question they can just go there and search using a key word

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Love hearing that Trainual has become your team’s go-to cheatsheet! Making processes easy to find, follow, and update is exactly what we’re here for. Thanks for making it part of your daily workflow—we're glad it's clicking!

 ### 34. Wish this was around when I owned my tile store

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim V. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The whole software is awesome, but if I had to choose one thing it's the ease of delegation and accountability.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The mobile app can be glitchy at times and I wish the editing features on the mobile app were the same as the web version so a bit limited on the fly. Also, I think an offline mode is crucial in this day and age. The team being connected to internal knowledge shouldn't hinge on network availability.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I help other businesses with their operations Trainual is a single solution to MANY problems. The helps centralize the knowledge for the company, organize it by dept/team/etc, and EASILY delegate it out to the team. Can't say enough great things about Trainual....truly love the team and software.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words, it means a lot coming from someone helping others grow with Trainual! We’re glad it’s making delegation and accountability easier, and we’ve shared your feedback on mobile and offline access with our product team.

 ### 35. Very useful tool for SOPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camila G. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

It's easy to edit and update, and easy to consume as a user.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I don't love that it's a separate platform, it would be nice to be able to integrate with CRMs or something.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a useful tool for SOPs and to have a repository for the companu.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for sharing! We’re glad Trainual’s helping you keep SOPs organized, and we hear you on integrations. That is always top of mind for us and we're actively working on some new ones!

 ### 36. Customizable Trainings and Helpful Templates, But Video Embedding Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I like best about Trainual is the freedom to completely customize trainings and the built in templates. Our company has been able to use it for something as complex as a handbook to something as simple as a basic SOP. The ability to see progress and assignments has been very helpful in making sure I, as an employee, keep up to date with my assigned trainings.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I've noticed when embedding videos in the training, there can be an issue that causes the video to not play, which then requires troubleshooting to solve. Some additional guidance on how to avoid this would be appreciated.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been a great place to create and store SOPs, as well as follow company posted trainings and manuals.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Love hearing how you're using Trainual for everything from handbooks to SOPs — and that progress tracking is helping you stay on top of it all 🙌
As for the video hiccups, thanks for flagging it! Our support team is always here to help, and we’ll keep working to make embedding smoother.

 ### 37. This is a great website/app for training y, and allows giving tests on policies as well.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry S. | Site Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

It's very user friendly, and a great tool for making sure your employees know all company policies. It also lets us set out a clear training path for each individual user based on their role in the company. We can schedule times for probationary periods where items can then autopopulate upon completion.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I wish there was ability to take video tests within their app instead of needing a URL.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to clearly define a path for each individual user in our company based on their roles.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thank you for sharing! We’re so glad Trainual’s helping you create clear training paths and keep everyone up to speed on company policies. We also appreciate your suggestion about video tests, it’s great feedback and we’ll be sure to pass it along to our product team.

 ### 38. Great for Onboarding, But Creation Process Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Good for new employees to learn about the company.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

It was a slow process to create it and alot to keep updated.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 39. Employee Relations Assistant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Executive Office | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

What I like best about Trainual is its simplicity and flexibility for onboarding and training teams. It allows me to easily create and share processes, ensuring consistency and saving time in the long run.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The only thing that I slightly do not like is how limited the customizations are. I would love to have more features but besides that, Trainual is great.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainual solves the problem of not having clear, written instructions for how a business operates. It creates a central place where all company procedures and information are stored. This helps us because when we need to remember how to do something or find a company rule, the document is always there for us to check.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words — we're really glad you're enjoying Trainual :)

We designed Trainual to be simple and flexible, so it's awesome to hear that it’s helping you onboard and train your team more efficiently. Knowing that you’re saving time and creating more consistency across your business is exactly why we do what we do!

We also really appreciate the honest feedback on customization. We hear you! While we’ve intentionally kept the platform easy to use, we’re always exploring ways to offer more customization options without making things too complex. It’s a balancing act, but your input helps us get it right.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts. You’re helping us make Trainual better for everyone! 💜

 ### 40. Intuitive Interface and Smart AI, But Too Many Email Alerts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The interface is relatively intuitive if you're familiar with programs like this, and the new AI assisted features are nice.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Beyond the endless stream of emails that stem from the platform and our internal alerts, I don't have a strong dislike toward anything.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is using it to document SOP's, which is, I believe, an annual initiative. Completing annual initiaitves tends to make ownership happy, which is universally beneficial for everyone who works here.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad you’re enjoying the intuitive interface and new AI features — love hearing that they’re adding value. We totally get the feedback on email alerts; our team is currently running a full notification audit to make management and customization much easier. Appreciate you sharing your experience and helping us keep improving!

 ### 41. Intuitive and Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassandra T. | Case Manager/Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

The best part of Trainual is how easy it is to use and the ability to go back and edit--as a millenial I enjoy the ability to insert gifs and the number of features it has.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I overall like Trainual, but publishing the guides can be confusing; when I try to share with my firm member they aren't always granted the permission to see them

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Trainual for our onboarding process and that benefits both myself; for reviewing the processes in place and for our new employees.

**Official Response from Mallory Glessner:**

> Hey Cassandra, thanks for dropping this awesome review! We're stoked to hear that you're finding Trainual intuitive and fun.
Your millennial heart's love for GIFs? We totally get it - we're two halves of the same heart there. We're thrilled you're making the most of our features to spice up your training content. Keep those GIFs coming!

We hear you on the publishing hiccup. Sharing is caring, right? And we want to make sure you can share with your firm members without a hitch. We're taking note of this feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Your insights help us keep Trainual fresh! If you need any help with permissions, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. They're always ready to lend a hand!

Keep rockin' with Trainual, Cassandra. You're making training fun [insert GIF here]!

 ### 42. User-Friendly for All, But Needs More Flexibility in User Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual is incredibly easy to use. We've managed to train employees who aren't very computer savvy, and they've been able to navigate the platform without any trouble.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I wish there was an option to manually move individuals on the org chart by clicking and dragging them.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The roles feature is incredibly helpful for clarifying the responsibilities associated with each position. We also really appreciate the templates, which make it much easier to create processes and policies.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the kind words! We’re so glad to hear Trainual’s ease of use is making a difference for your whole team — tech-savvy or not 🙌 As for org chart flexibility, great feedback! Drag-and-drop functionality is a smart suggestion, and we’ll pass it along. Appreciate you helping us keep improving!

 ### 43. Perfect for Training multiple teams - specially remote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zenya D. | Founding Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

In today’s hybrid and remote-first world, keeping everyone aligned, informed, and on the same page can feel like an uphill battle. Enter Trainual—a true game-changer for remote teams looking to scale knowledge, processes, and consistency without missing a beat.

From day one, Trainual has made a measurable difference in how we operate. It’s like having a digital playbook that lives in everyone's back pocket—available anytime, anywhere. Whether it's onboarding new hires, standardizing procedures, or documenting tribal knowledge, Trainual puts everything at your fingertips, literally.

What makes it stand out is the ease of use combined with its depth. You can build and structure content to fit your unique workflows, assign training modules to specific roles, and track progress with zero guesswork. No more scrambling through outdated documents, Slack threads, or mystery SOPs lost in someone's inbox. With Trainual, information lives in one place—organized, accessible, and up to date.

For remote teams especially, that’s a game-changer. It bridges the communication gap, reinforces accountability, and gives everyone the confidence that they have the information they need to do their job—without needing to tap a teammate or wait for a response in a different time zone.

If you’re serious about creating a well-documented, empowered, and self-sufficient remote culture, Trainual isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential. It’s not just software. It’s how you scale clarity, consistency, and culture across every team, everywhere.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

That said, there’s one small downside worth mentioning: keeping content current can take a bit of discipline. Since Trainual becomes the go-to source for all your processes and knowledge, it’s only as effective as it is up-to-date. If no one owns the task of regularly reviewing and updating the material, things can get outdated faster than you think—especially in fast-moving teams or industries.

It’s not a flaw in the platform itself, but more of an operational challenge. The good news? Once you build it into your rhythm (like assigning content owners or setting review reminders), it becomes manageable. Just know that Trainual works best when someone’s actively keeping the content fresh.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One place for everything: No more digging through random docs or asking around—Trainual keeps all our processes, policies, and how-tos in one easy-to-find spot.

Faster, better onboarding: New hires hit the ground running with consistent training, customized for their role.

Helps us scale smart: As we grow, Trainual helps us keep everyone on the same page without reinventing the wheel.

Great for remote teams: Everyone has access to the info they need, wherever they are—no more waiting for someone to reply in Slack.

Tracks training & compliance: We can see who’s done what, so nothing falls through the cracks.

It’s like a digital playbook that keeps our team sharp, aligned, and moving forward.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thank you for this thoughtful and articulate review! You perfectly captured the heart of what Trainual is all about—scaling clarity, consistency, and culture, especially for remote teams. We love hearing how it's become your digital playbook and how it's supporting everything from onboarding to process documentation to role clarity.

You’re absolutely right about the importance of keeping content current. While the platform gives you the tools, having a cadence for updates is key to staying sharp. We appreciate you calling that out with such a balanced perspective.

Thanks again for sharing your experience—we're honored to be part of how your team works, grows, and stays connected.

 ### 44. Help your company mature

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil C. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Its easy to use and it keeps getting better

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The only thing I don't like is if someone fully relies on technology instead of training in person.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make sure that people are aware of a new process. Before I just would send an email and hope it was read. Now I assign it in Trainual and add a quick quiz to make sure they understand the new policy or procedure. Built in accountability is huge!

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for sharing! We’re glad Trainual’s helping build accountability and keep everyone aligned on new processes.

 ### 45. Trainual has been a game changer for our growing staff for our Pediatric Therapy Clinics.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashly B. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

We have three locations and it was challenging to keep everyone on the same page. This updates the entire staff of any changes in policies or procedures and is always up to date for our new staff coming onboard. My training went from 16 hours of hand-holding and walking them through everything to only four hours of being with the new staff on their first day.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

I find the different roles/locations/departments confusing when searching for content or assigning things to new staff.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my training content is up to date at all times. I can onboard someone into any role and confidently know that they have the most up to date policy and procedure.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey, Ashly!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us! It's amazing to hear that we've been a game-changer for your clinics! Keeping everyone in the loop across three locations must be a challenge, but it’s awesome to hear Trainual made onboarding so much smoother — going from 16 hours to just 4 is a huge win!

We totally get the confusion with roles and departments when searching for stuff. That's definitely something we’ll pass along to the team, thank you for bringing it to our attention!

And you have all of your training content up to date? You are absolutely crushing it!!

Thanks again for taking the time to write such an informative review :)

 ### 46. Great platform for creating systems and training in business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Simple user interface, and features to integrate videos with ease
Tracking progress of team members

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Table feature is not working properly
AI-tool is way less advanced. Not much value while creating tests or content. We use Chat GPT and copy content. Takes extra time
Content searching is not organized well it pulls low relevance searched first often

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structured approach to outline processes and SOPs, it helps us to systematize our business operations and ensure consistency in important areas.
Training employees on company policy, processes, best practices and SOPs with knowledge check and tracking progress, it helps us to ensure everyone is up to speed to perform well in their function
Onboarding new employees quickly

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback! We’re glad Trainual is helping you systematize processes, onboard new employees, and track team progress. We also appreciate you calling out areas where we can improve. AI, search relevance, and tables are all things we are actively working on, stayed tuned for some exciting updates coming soon!

 ### 47. It's a decent platform for self-paced training

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coach Allan R. | Contractor (Customer Service Representative), Facilities Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Easy to use, fast, reliable, no errors, nice visual appeal, training material is organized and well-arranged, you can increase the speed of videos, you can view them in full screen.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

It does not have a feature to transcribe the video to text (this would really help). Also, it is difficult to copy and paste information, this would save a lot of time because we have to manually type all the text.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The person who delivers training also has to take calls from customers, she is not available to provide instructor-led training. Trainual allows us to do self-paced training. This way, no one else has to stop taking calls in order to deliver training.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the review! We're so glad to hear Trainual is helping your team train at their own pace without disrupting the flow of customer calls—that’s exactly the kind of impact we aim for. 🙌

Appreciate the shoutout on ease of use and video features! And great news, video transcripts are right around the corner. We hear you on copy/paste and are always looking for ways to save time and make content creation smoother. We'll pass this feedback along to the team.

Thanks for sharing your feedback and for being part of the Trainual community!

 ### 48. Trainual helps me keep my team updated in a rapidly-changing environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

It's easy to use and update, and makes it easy for my team to search for FAQs. Before Trainual, we were sending emails with important info that was easy to get lost. Now, they can use it whenever they need it, search for answers and troubleshoot lots of issues on their own. I like being able to assign (and then update and clear completion) of specific topics within a subject and see who on my team has completed them. It's easy to share new training modules with my team.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Cost is the biggest barrier for most folks, since you could theoretically do this all in Google Docs for free, but the ability to search, assign, and see completion rates is worth it for us. There are some cool features that we can't access bc they're paywalled at a higher priced plan than ours, which can be frustrating. My biggest day-to-day complaint is formatting - it's very hard to format things consistently, even when after configuring default styles. It can make my subjects look sloppy, even when I've spent a lot of time on them.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was putting lots of key information into emails or Google Docs, but there was no easy way to search, find it, update it, etc. It was all getting lost in emails.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey there — thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review!

We’re really glad Trainual has helped you move away from buried emails and into a system that keeps your team informed and self-sufficient. Hearing that your team can now search for answers, stay up-to-date, and own their learning is exactly the kind of impact we hope to make.

Totally get where you're coming from on the cost and feature access — and we appreciate you calling that out with honesty. We also hear you loud and clear on the formatting struggles. It’s something we know can be frustrating, especially when you’re putting in the effort to make content look great.

Thanks again for your feedback — it helps us keep improving, and we’re here if you ever want to talk through solutions or workarounds. 💜

 ### 49. Consistent Training for All, But Performance Issues Hold It Back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adelìz R. | Director of Property Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

I appreciate that we now all have a workbook that offers the same training to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

Sometimes its too slow and crashes often

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been useful for updating processes and improving accountability.

**Official Response from Rachel Astori:**

> Thanks for the feedback — love that Trainual’s bringing consistency to your training, and we’re actively working to improve performance so it runs as smoothly as your processes!

 ### 50. Eye-Catching, Easy to Use, and Perfect for Onboarding!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonia P. | Management Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trainual?**

Trainual is truly awesome! I love how colorful and visually engaging the platform is—it makes the learning experience enjoyable and approachable. One of my favorite features is the ability to "favorite" new hires, which allows me to easily track their progress. Being able to quickly see who’s ahead and who might need a nudge makes onboarding so much smoother and more efficient. It’s a fantastic tool for keeping everyone on the same page from day one.

**What do you dislike about Trainual?**

The only thing that would elevate Trainual from great to exceptional is having a fully searchable export option—like a downloadable PDF or Word document that compiles all modules in a logical order. This would be incredibly useful for quick reference, offline access, or even for preparing for audits or team reviews. A searchable master file would make an already powerful platform even more versatile.

**What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has team members spread across California and a few other states, which makes consistent training a challenge. Trainual solves this by providing a centralized, easily accessible platform where employees can complete their training anytime, from anywhere. It gives our team the flexibility to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule—whatever works best for them, works for us. It ensures everyone receives the same high-quality onboarding and ongoing education, no matter where they’re located.

**Official Response from Ben Lofrumento:**

> Hey Antonia — this review seriously made our day!

We’re so glad Trainual’s helping you create a consistent, visually engaging onboarding experience for your team — and love that you’re using features like favoriting to keep things flowing smoothly. It’s awesome to hear your new hires are getting a solid start, no matter where they’re located.

Really appreciate your note about a searchable export option. That’s such a smart idea, especially for quick reference or audit prep. We’re definitely taking that feedback to heart.

Thanks again for sharing your experience — and for making Trainual part of your team’s journey from day one! 💜
