What do you like best about Totara Learn?

We love how much control we have over the platform. While many other LMS tools feel one-size-fits-all, Totara gives us the freedom to customize the experience so it aligns with our branding and workflows. We don’t feel like we’re forcing our team into a rigid system; instead, the system adapts to how we work day to day. That flexibility has made user adoption much easier for us. What do you dislike about Totara Learn?

While the platform is powerful, the sheer number of features and settings can feel overwhelming at first. Setting up complex hierarchies, dynamic groups, and automated assignment rules takes a significant time investment, especially during initial configuration. I’ve found that although you can configure a lot through the interface, deeper customization often requires technical expertise or developer involvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Totara Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?

Because of the automation and multi-tenancy, you’re not managing 1,000 individual users—you’re managing 10 branches instead, which cuts the manual workload significantly. I also sleep better knowing the system automatically flags when a user’s certification is about to expire.
