You can use filters, but they can't be named or graphically arranged. 2. The UX is sometimes very annoying. I like how I can type include deadline and time within the task, and Todoist would automatically sparse them and put them in automatic their right places. For example, I could write "Design Thinking Project Slide Deck due next Thu at 11:59 PM #1," and it would add the "Design Thinking Project Slide Deck" task, make the deadline next Thursday at 11:59 PM, and put it in priority #1 bin. That way, I could jot all the essential information within the task, and Todoist will do the rest for me. It helps me save quite a time in the long run, and I have seen no other competitor do the same. **What do you dislike about Todoist?** I wish Todoist would revisit its pricing or offer more on the Free version, such as reminders. I currently use the Free version, but $4/month could prove to be hefty. I love reminders and file uploads within tasks, but they are only available on the Premium version. I would benefit much more if only Todoist considered lowering the price. Tags, due dates, and reminders are also very helpful. You have so many options for arranging Todoist to suit your workflow. **What do you dislike about Todoist?** One shortcoming I've encountered is that the in Light Mode the color codes for priority 1 (red) and priority 2 (orange) tasks are hard to tell apart (in Dark Mode the distinction is quite clear). In the iPhone app, I also found it awkward to change the order of tasks: when I press down on a task, often a context menu pops up when all I want to do is drag the task to a different to a different spot in my list. **Recommendations to others considering Todoist:** Be aware: my experience when I first started using Todoist for free was that I kept bumping up against features I wanted that were only part of the paid plan. As an Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, there are so many hats to wear, and some can fly off if not written down in a timely and organized way. I think Todoist is a great way to keep our small team on the ball and it's pretty intuitive to use, so the implementation time isn't terribly long. **What do you dislike about Todoist?** I'm not completely convinced that Todoist is miles better than Evernote, which I also use. That said, I have appreciated the possibilities that Todoist offers in the formatting and organization of task items, while Evernote has a much larger possibility list that isn't always used in our organization. **Recommendations to others considering Todoist:** Make sure that Todoist functions in the most useful way for your organization and that the time getting used to the format is there for your entire team. You may adjust the Todoist 's theme according match your requirements. there are plenty of theme to choose from.I see it how Todoist supports ubuntu and that most of the operating systems. Their free version is very restricted, finding it challenging for those who begin to use this to convince themselves to purchase. No notes, feedback, or modifications are authorized to be added in the free edition. Completely new users that can not use their main features including labeling and toggle are limited by Todoist. **Recommendations to others considering Todoist:** For people that are looking for project activities and task management with a successful notification system , I absolutely suggest the todoist application to expand to subscription model. I still save a little time in my everyday schedule and therefore can balance personal life and work. There is a free version that allows you to do enough for individual organization, but there is also a premium version where you get more functionality such as labels and archived projects. **What do you dislike about Todoist?** It is a wonderful tool for personal use, however it is quite limited when it comes to robust enterprise organization tools amongst multi-project teams. I can see it more as a way to create quick to do lists for different projects, but when it comes to assigning sub tasks to different teams members and managing deadlines, steps inside those tasks, collaborations etc.. it is just too simple of a tool. I love the ease of Todoist probably the most. It's quickly to make use of and it's all self-explanatory. There's a karma / trending statistics showing the productivity of yours which results in some gamification within the add-on and you're rather challenged to be much more effective by you use it. **What do you dislike about Todoist?** I dislike which you are able to not make reoccurring tasks at strange time periods, and there is not a calendar/overview mode which allows me to see the tasks of mine in any specified interval **Recommendations to others considering Todoist:** You are able to use it free of charge without any charges. Take some time to ensure that the first setup is right! **What problems is Todoist solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to handle our staff tasks in shared projects. It is really simple to manage regular job and keep a track of client requests.
