"Secure way to exchange engineering documents with suppliers"

What do you like best about TitanFile?

I use TitanFile during engineering change requests and supplier document reviews. On a typical project, I upload drawing packages, BOMs, product specifications, inspection reports, and approval PDFs to a shared workspace instead of sending multiple email attachments. I can control who has access to each document and receive notifications when suppliers or internal reviewers open the files.

The web interface is straightforward, so our team started using it without much training. I also use the activity history to verify whether documents have been viewed before scheduling review meetings. We normally use TitanFile 2–3 times a week during active product development projects. What do you dislike about TitanFile?

The platform has been reliable, but managing projects with many document revisions can become time-consuming. Searching older files could be faster, especially when several revision versions exist for the same component. I would also appreciate deeper integration with engineering document management or PLM systems to reduce manual uploads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TitanFile solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using TitanFile, we relied mainly on email attachments and shared folders when exchanging confidential engineering documents with suppliers. It was difficult to know whether files had been received or whether everyone was reviewing the latest revision.

Now we upload the complete document package to TitanFile, share secure access with the required stakeholders, and track document activity from one place. This has reduced follow-up emails, improved version control during design reviews, and typically saves working effort time when preparing supplier document packages. It has also given us greater confidence when sharing confidential engineering information outside the organization because access is controlled and file activity is recorded.
