We have also seen considerable time savings through the reduction of manual payment activities. By consolidating and automating payment processes within Tipalti, we have been able to streamline payment runs, reduce administrative effort, and improve overall efficiency for the finance team.

Another key benefit is the enhanced security and compliance offered through the supplier portal. Vendors can securely maintain their own banking details and tax information, reducing manual intervention, improving data accuracy, and significantly lowering the risk associated with handling sensitive supplier information.

Their customer support also deserves special mention as a standout part of the experience. Andy and Ani have been extremely helpful and responsive to our questions, whether it's tweaking file configurations, setting up workflows, or troubleshooting issues. Having support that is willing to listen and collaborate makes a huge difference, especially during implementation and testing phases. One area where Tipalti could continue to enhance the experience is around streamlining data alignment with external systems, such as Odoo. As with many complex integrations, ensuring consistency across file formats, invoice structures, and payment matching workflows can require some configuration and fine-tuning, particularly when managing more complex scenarios like invoices with multiple line items.

The implementation process has involved some optimization, but Tipalti’s team has been proactive and collaborative in helping us address these areas. They have been receptive to feedback and willing to explore solutions, including template adjustments and collaboration with their engineering team. Overall, we’ve seen steady progress, and the platform continues to add value to our processes.

It would also be beneficial if the full dashboard functionality were available to a wider group of users across the organization. Providing managers and budget owners with greater visibility into their team or department spend would help drive accountability, support more informed decision-making, and reduce reliance on the finance team for routine reporting requests. Additional self-service reporting and financial insights would further enhance the platform by giving stakeholders easier access to meaningful data and trends, helping them manage costs more effectively and make better-informed purchasing decisions.
