I like having colocation in a protected place with reliable power, air conditioning, and data connectivity. The secure cage holds our equipment in place, and I don’t have to worry about who can access the room. The systems run so well that we hardly ever need to go in and work on them. I appreciate how quickly they respond to queries and how helpful they are. We haven’t had significant downtime, thanks to TierPoint’s multiple layers of protection, and the staff are always friendly, kind, and willing to help. The location is really, really great: during the 2021 Dallas snowstorm, they were the only data center that didn’t have a power failure and stayed on while other areas shut down. I also like that they partner with Nutanix, which we use regularly, so we could reach out for additional support, including possibly housing some of our virtual machines in an emergency.
