What do you like best about TierPoint DRaaS?

I like how TierPoint DRaaS takes the heavy‑lifting of disaster‑recovery orchestration off our small in‑house IT team. Before we switched over, we depended entirely on Axcient x360Sync to back up our Sylaps meeting server. I still remember that stressful spring incident, when storage corruption hit our production VM and Axcient’s file‑level sync could not restore the complete system state. I burned hours manually rebuilding the environment and had to reschedule multiple client portfolio review sessions. What do you dislike about TierPoint DRaaS?

Full-instance failover works reliably, but granular restoration options feel limited for our compliance-heavy investment-management workflows. Back in April, we needed to recover only a set of specific Sylaps meeting log files for an internal audit request. I could only restore the entire replicated VM snapshot; there was no built-in way to pick and export individual log records directly from the recovery repository. I had to spin up the whole recovered instance, wait for it to boot, then manually dig out and export the required logs. That whole process ate up almost half of my workday and created unnecessary extra VM overhead just to retrieve a small subset of data. The reporting UI also leaves room for improvement. While we can pull high-level RTO compliance reports, the granular replication-job logs are hard to parse. Once I noticed one small segment of our Sylaps configuration files had fallen slightly behind in replication. The main dashboard showed replication status as 'healthy', and I had to dig deep into raw exported log files to spot that minor drift. TierPoint DRaaS protects our Sylaps environment, ensuring business continuity and rapid recovery from unexpected outages. Previously we used Axcient x360Sync for protection, and that storage corruption incident really exposed our vulnerabilities. When our production VM became corrupted, we could not get a complete VM restore, client portfolio calls got cancelled, and our compliance team grew nervous because critical meeting records were temporarily inaccessible. As a 28‑person investment firm with only me handling all collaboration infrastructure, we simply do not have manpower to build and operate a redundant off‑site recovery environment internally. TierPoint DRaaS automates replication, saving me from error‑prone manual snapshot tasks and cutting down human risk.
