ThoughtMetric provided solid data attribution, specifically through its multi-touch, non-deduplicated model. This approach is arguably the most accurate way to count conversions and is highly valuable for a true business analysis.
The platform effectively mapped customer journeys across multiple touchpoints; including paid, organic, social, and direct traffic -giving us a clear view of how our channels interact.
Additionally, the dashboard was flexible enough to surface most of the data we required, all at a very competitive price point compared to other tools on the market.
The Shopify integration was seamless, provided the necessary permissions were in place, and the support from their team was consistently high. While the platform lacked built-in AI features, this wasn’t a drawback for us; as performance marketers, we’re experienced enough with business data to extract our own insights without needing an AI layer. We didn’t have any major issues with ThoughtMetric, but we ultimately decided to move in a different direction because the tool couldn't segregate our specific conversion types (e.g., samples vs. slipcovers).
If there was one thing we found frustrating, it was that subscriptions don't run their course once you cancel; access is revoked immediately, even if you’ve already paid for the remainder of the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
