"Excellent Feature Rich Platform with all the Bells and Whistles"

5/5

What do you like best about Thought Industries?

The extraordinary amount of features and functions are a huge selling point, but the support hub is really the most useful (and used) feature for me personally as an administrator. Having so many training videos and courses to learn how to use the platform is by far the most incredible software support feature I have ever seen a company offer. There are typically at least several articles, videos, and/or courses on any given topic you could search for. You don't have to wait for support on common functions in most cases. Speaking of support, this is probably the other best feature of the Thought Industries platform. The support team goes above and beyond to help you find a solution regardless of how complicated your issue is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Thought Industries?

No sandbox out of the box. The lack of color/font options in wysiwig editors. The inability to use a categorized administrative catalog. Not having the ability to pull our own employee academy reports (I see why this isn't possible given the reporting options and it's not feasible to use a panorama for every single client, but it would be a "nice to have" option. Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:

Have. A. Plan. Don't launch too early. Listen to what Thought Industries tells you to do when onboarding. Take your time, make a content item of every single type, register as a user in all of it and thoroughly test every single thing with multiple people before adding all of your content. Don't assume you can deal with just the settings, or just the content, or just the design, of a bunch of titles and then add the other items later. Add it all from the beginning - it's a lot more work at the start but completely worth it at the end. Don't make assumptions and don't take shortcuts. Don't be afraid to come up with creative workarounds for special use cases. And if you're using SSO - have a developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?

Many. Thought industries has been instrumental in our digital transformation and the ability to offer our customers a more user-friendly learning experience. Automation is HUGE. Many of our processes are outdated and manual, whereas, with TI, we can easily automate a large amount of our daily processes, like issuing certificates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
