I like that The Muse is particularly focused on organizational culture, and helping prospective employees figure out if they are a fit for that organization. They don't encourage orgs to sugar coat or mislead people about what the experience is truly like, because they know that job seekers want to find a place they truly belong. The Muse made it easy for us to create videos, take professional office photos, and develop an organizational profile that represents who our org really is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a nonprofit organization, I'm not sure that The Muse's job seeker profile always fits what we need. We have gotten a lot of applicants from the site, but haven't made a lot of hires from Muse referrals. I would guess that for-profit tech and design companies do better. We were also underwhelmed by one of our photo shoots in-office - as an amateur photographer I felt like I could have done better. The lighting was really poor, images were blown out or clipping, and skin tones were way off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
