TMO does what our small loan business needs to help us professionally service the loans in our portfolio. Calculations are rock solid. Data is presented in several ways that help us understand the status of individual loans and our portfolio as a whole. For example, their recently added loan overview screen allows us to see the key data for each loan in one well laid out view. They offer several 3rd party tools integrated into TMO. We use a few of them to help provide online access for our clients, ACH direct debit and tracking of insurance status. It is web based giving us access from multiple locations and is available 24 hours a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about The Mortgage Office Loan Servicing? Service support is great after they respond. Realistically, they are only available by email. After sending a request, we have received responses anywhere between a few hours to a couple of days later. Once they answer, they are great at helping us solve issues (how to do something, how to fix data entry errors, etc.). They could use phone support and chat support especially when we are having a critical issue working with TMO which happens every once and a while. They do not provide a user manual for the software. They have training available when you start, they have a knowledge base with some answers, and they have some help features built into the software. Their new AI help feature is getting better but it is not quite there yet. Adding contextual help bubbles with definitions and how to guidance would be a big improvement. The user interface is based in a lot of ways on the how their legacy version (past desktop version) of the software was laid out. We could benefit from a more modern UI. There is no other way to say it, for a small business TMO is a premium solution with a premium price. Compared to the similar software we use for our rental properties with a lot of the same features (web based, online payments, etc.), TMO is over 5 times more expensive. TMO provides the rock solid calculations we need and helps us provide accurate data and track loan status and communications with our clients. Between the reminders built in and communication log features, we can more easily work with our clients to help them keep their loans current. There are a number of features in TMO now to help document changes to loans over time. Their journal feature has helped us determine who and when changes were made in the data. TMO can store attachments for quick access to key documents and correspondence. We can also easily share documents with our client by posting documents to TMO Borrower's Portal.
