What do you like best about The EDGE?

I use the shortcut keys constantly. Moving between pages and conditions is super easy and makes me more efficient. This program has a lot of capabilities that we're not currently utilizing. We plan to purchase some training time in order to improve our skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The EDGE?

It's very frustrating that when conditions are linked and they're in multiple scenarios and you changed one detail of a condition, it changes it in all the scenarios. We use the same bidding EDGE file during post-bid reviews and throughout projects. We copy/paste the scenario and rename it. However, changing a detail of that condition messes with all the other conditions it's linked too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering The EDGE:

This is the first real estimating software I've used, so I wasn't sure about it at first. Once I tried it out on some sample projects to learn more about it, I became really comfortable with it and love it now. I can't imagine estimating any other way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The EDGE solving and how is that benefiting you?

This software allows us to quickly estimate large projects with relative ease. Our database and templates are already built into a master file, so we just copy/paste into the project folder, rename it and go. We use the EDGE from the bidding process all the way through to the end of a project when we're awarded it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
