"Convenient, Customizable Snippets That Streamline Sharing Information"

What do you like best about TextExpander?

Convenience is the biggest benefit for me. In my line of work, I have to share a lot of information, so being able to create small coded snippets for recurring details is fantastic and makes the process much smoother. Especially since the snippets you create are so customizable from simple text to modifiable fields, formatted text, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TextExpander?

I wish the formatting was a bit better for things like bullet points/sub categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TextExpander solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my line of work as a coach, I often have to send training & diet plans. Instead of copying and pasting the same text to send with the plan, I can create one stock response tied to a singular snippet that handles it all for me, including editable boxes where I include necessary links, their name, etc. The same goes when I'm explaining mechanisms and all else, creating one stock response and getting to send it multiple times saves TONS of time so I can do what I really want to do: coach. Not type long emails with the same information over and over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks, Nick, and it's great to hear one Snippet can handle your training and diet plan emails, editable boxes and all, so you get more time to actually coach. Sorry the formatting for bullet points and sub categories hasn't been where you'd like it. If you want to try something in the meantime, the editing bar has formatting options you can use inside the Snippet editor, and our Support team can help you get your lists looking right at supportteam@textexpander.com. If you aren't already using Conditional Sections, they could also be handy for coaching, since you can build the variations of a plan explanation into one Snippet and pick the one you need as it expands.
