  ### 1. Textedly Is Easy to Use with truly Top-Tier Customer Support

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I was in a bind looking for a texting solution. I found textedly with Google and figured I would give them a try. It’s so easy to use and their customer support is top notch. Nicole called me and helped walk me through understanding how to use everything and even called me the next day to check in and make sure I was still good. Paige through the live chat was also incredibly helpful answering any questions I had as I was learning how to use everything. Their support is top tier as well as the ease of use of the program. I’m so impressed!

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

So far, I don’t like that I can’t change the labels on the dynamic fields. Being an appointment call center, I have to use the fields for other things and try to remember what is what. That is a major challenge for appointment reminders.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to send out bulk texts to different people with different appointment dates, times and locations. The dynamic fields relieve a huge burden for me with still being able to send mass texts.

  ### 2. Professional Support, Fast Approvals, and an Easy-to-Use UI

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I liked how they were very professional and called me multiple times making sure the process was going smoothly.  Also when out phone number application got rejected they were very quick to fix the situation and had out application approved in under 24 hours after emailing them.  We look forward to working with them for the future!  They're UI is very easy to use and is easy to navigate and put keywords and customs texts.  Integrations is also easy to use, as we made a QR code for customers to scan and easily text the number.  I think the pricing is decent but is on the higher side a little but it's definitely worth it.  They don't have to much AI yet into it but definitely don't need it!  The only AI they have is helping to refine text messages and what not but it's not horrible.  Over the performance is a 8/10 for me personally and thats great!

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

Their really isn't to much I dislike about texedly.  The only thing I could really think of is the price and maybe having benefits for using it more.  Because it does cost 20 a month to send out about 500 texts or 250 long texts and at scale that could get pretty pricy.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem they are solving for us is definitely customer retention %.  We are using them to text out marketing deals for certain days to increase business and we are using them to promote our business which is going very well so far.  We are still in the early stages of this but so far it's pretty good.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

Textedly has been easy to navigate from day one. Setting up message scheduling, QR codes, keywords and a dedicated local number made launching our customer text program straightforward. The interface is intuitive, and it's simple to manage contacts and create campaigns without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

The biggest challenge has been navigating the A2P/10DLC carrier registration requirements. While Textedly provides guidance, the carrier approval process can be difficult to interpret, especially for organizations with websites that are part of a larger institution. More detailed examples, clearer validation before submission and more specific error messages would make onboarding much smoother. Once the platform is set up, it's very easy to use.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Textedly, we relied primarily on email and social media to communicate weekly retail specials and store updates. Textedly gives us a direct way to reach customers who have specifically asked to receive text alerts. It will help us quickly communicate weekly specials, limited-quantity products, holiday closures and important announcements, allowing customers to receive timely information without relying on social media algorithms. The platform has made it easy to launch and manage this new communication channel.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like how easy it is to text people, upload lists, and keep track of customers. This ease makes it valuable for sending monthly texts to all my customers, helping me stay top of mind with them, run holiday and summer sales, and inform them about local events. The initial setup of Textedly was very smooth for me.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

I think they should not nickel and dime as much on little features and add-ons. I also think that it would be nice if the upload was easier and didn't have to reorganize a spreadsheet. And I also think that it would be nice if there weren't as many hidden fees.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Textedly to mass text thousands of customers individually, making it easy to upload lists and keep track of them. It helps me stay top of mind with customers, run sales, and inform them about local events effortlessly.

Excellent customer service! The Textedly team has been quick to respond to every question and extremely helpful throughout our setup and brand registration process. Their support made everything easy to understand and complete.

We have yet to find anything we dislike.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a nonprofit organization, we were new to the SMS registration and compliance process and weren't always sure which options were best for our needs. The Textedly team helped answer our questions, explain the requirements, and guide us through the setup process. Their support has helped us move forward with implementing a text messaging system that will allow us to communicate more efficiently with the children and families we serve.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like the ability to sign on in one place and handle everything by computer. The easy computer access and fairly simple interface allow us to quickly create and send group messages. I also appreciate the ease of using Excel lists to set up our texting group, which is great because our patient list is on Excel. We didn't see any advantages from other texting services that would make us switch from Textedly. The initial setup was easy too, with help from a representative who walked us through.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

The ability to have multiple users is sometimes an issue. Although there are 'teammates', it is not the same as having another user when the main person is out for one reason or another

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Textedly for group texting, sending messages and documents efficiently. It solves group communication by allowing easy computer access and Excel list integration for setting up texts, saving time by avoiding manual entries.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like that Textedly's interface is relatively easy to use. It allows me to see how the message is going to be displayed before it's sent, making communication more effective. I can both manually upload numbers and also let people text and opt-in, which adds flexibility. Additionally, the initial setup of Textedly was fairly easy and pretty intuitive, asking only for the phone numbers I wanted to include.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

I really feel like a mobile interface would be helpful. Because of the way that we use Textedly, having an app would make everything easier to log in and send messages. I'm not always by my computer to log in. And with the two-factor identification to send out an emergency text, I have to go through the normal website and then log in to the email to verify that it's me to then send those emergency texts. It's quite cumbersome, and I really need to have a more direct way of getting information out.

Textedly allows us to send communications extremely efficiently, in a moment's notice, ensuring important information reaches key stakeholders quickly.

  ### 8. Live Chat Support is a Win, but Needs Flexible Plan Options

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I enjoy having the live chat available where I talk to a real human, not just an AI bot. I also enjoy having access to a phone number and inbox. The phone number gives me a number I feel safe sharing publicly online, and the inbox makes it easy to manage responses that I get, especially because I can have notifications coming in on my computer. The live chat feature has always been helpful when I have questions regarding my account. I did a lot of research when I first chose Textedly, and it was very competitive price-wise and seemed very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

The plan structure isn't the best. Instead of unlocking a specific number of messages per month and having them expire, I would prefer to choose an annual plan where I unlock a certain number of messages that last the year. And then if I need to add more to my message credits, I could do that at any time. That way, the plan could be more flexible for my needs instead of me paying for messages that I never use each month.   I could get started with Textedly quickly and easily, but then I had to figure out how to add the phone number in and it did seem slightly complicated. It's also very, very difficult to change your plan or to cancel your subscription or pause your subscription or switch to data storage, those things are not available without a live chat. And that is my biggest frustration to using Textedly as I've had different seasons where I've needed to use it more and then other seasons where I needed to use it less, yet I'm always paying the same rate and can't easily pause or cancel or adjust my payment schedule. So it really didn't serve me well in that. I had to spend a lot of time on live chat to be able to pause my account as needed. Responses on the chat also take a very long time, so each chat I have to spend an average of 20-30 minutes for one request.

I use Textedly to send event reminders to those in my membership, encouragement to my coaching clients, and shoutouts to my leads. The phone number is safe to share online, and the inbox helps manage responses. The live chat is helpful for account questions.

I love how super user-friendly Textedly is, making it easy for us to handle company event communications and RSVPs. The support staff is always so helpful, and I really appreciate that. I find the messaging and importing contacts features valuable. The initial setup was super easy, which was a great start. Overall, it's been a fantastic tool for mass messaging to our database of clients in a clean and structured way.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

The only qualm I have is that I have to check with the support staff to confirm that my messages are in compliance. I had an event where, due to some words I was unaware of would be flagged, resulted in a smaller turnout to our event. I was never made aware in the system that they weren't going through.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like that Textedly saves me from having to manually send hundreds and thousands of messages. It's nice that it helps me segment my target audiences at a granular level. It's a massive time saver and helps me keep clean lists. I also appreciate the support I received from Sara and Noah during the initial setup, they were very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

I'm finding Textedly not very intuitive. I've made mistakes like confusing tags with keywords and had a campaign delayed for days because I thought it was submitted correctly when it wasn't. The site doesn't suggest what's missing or provide helpful pointers, and I wish it was more interactive, guiding me through each necessary step before progressing. I also struggled to understand approval codes like 10DLC and the purpose of tags. It took hours to figure things out, which was frustrating. Some tutorial videos could really help improve the experience. The initial setup wasn't very smooth either, largely due to government-related bureaucracy.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I use Textedly to remind patients of their appointments, and it saves me so much time. I don't have to call every patient personally and wait for their voicemail before leaving a message. My favorite thing is that patients can text me back and let me know if they will make it to their appointment or if they need to reschedule. Texting is much faster than calling individual patients. The setup was a breeze and the app is so easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

I wish that it had a place I could store my text list instead of having to maintain an Excel sheet and import a new list every time I have to add or remove someone. That way I wouldn't have to wait for the upload format to be checked and wait for the email confirmation before I could start to send my text. I think it would be helpful when a patient replies to my text that it shows their name not just their phone number.

I use Textedly to remind patients of appointments, saving time and cutting down on calls. Patients can text back, letting me know if they can make it or need to reschedule, which streamlines communication.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like how user-friendly Textedly is. It's very intuitive, and it's not hard at all to use, which has made training multiple team members super simple. I also appreciate how Textedly provides a sample form to show exactly how you need to import and export when updating your audience. The platform is consistently one of the most raved about services we offer; people love it, and folks in my company are always curious about it. The customer support team always responds really quickly whenever I've asked for help. Textedly is super helpful for mass communication, allowing me to schedule messages and send campaigns either immediately or at a scheduled time. The feature that lets me know when someone unsubscribes or if messages bounce is also handy. Additionally, I love the keyword feature, which keeps my audience organized so I can easily add people to a group without worrying about reorganization. They even offer incentives like bonus points for filling out Google reviews, which really helps my budget. While Textedly is on the cheaper end compared to others, the quality is high, making it a financial no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

It's just expensive. That's my biggest complaint about all texting mass marketing sites. They're just very expensive. That's, yeah, my biggest complaint.

Textedly mass communicates quickly for me and is super helpful. It's very intuitive and user-friendly. The keyword feature simplifies updating contacts, and setup was easy. The product aids my team by allowing us to grow our audience efficiently, even with a small team size.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like Textedly because the platform is pretty easy to use. I appreciate the ability to put people in groups so we can send specific things to specific groups of people. It's very convenient to be able to group people and not add them individually each time, especially since we have different groups of employees like field and office workers, as well as different groups within our field teams. The initial setup was relatively seamless, and we had a Textedly rep helping us along the way.

I don't like that we can't message to two or more different groups at the same time.

Textedly helps me communicate with our entire team or specific groups efficiently. The platform is easy to use, allowing me to group employees, which is handy for targeted messages.

I love using Textedly to communicate with team members who aren't tied to a computer, especially those on the road or in mobile roles. Being able to easily send text messages quickly is great for getting on top of emergent situations or communications for our team. Everything works great with Textedly; there are no issues. The setup experience was amazing, thanks to the best customer service from Nicole G. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure we understood everything. She walked us through the product, making us feel like experts, and was such a joy to work with. Her amazing personality really shone through, and it was so helpful that I could hear her smile over the phone.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

I like that with Textedly, I can upload images and flyers, and send messages that feel like real person communication instead of automated messages. It helps our community see physical flyers and messages that are the same, which builds trust in our ministry because when we say it, they see it, and we do it.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

The number of messages we get a month is deceiving because if it says 3,500, then after 147 characters, it's already considered one message. In reality, we use 7 messages in sending out 1 text due to the information we provide as a nonprofit organization. So, 622 people end up being around 4,800 messages in one shot.

**What problems is Textedly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Textedly helps us reach our community on a mass scale, supporting our marketing and humanitarian efforts. The ability to upload images for more personalized communication builds trust. However, the character limit impacts our message usage significantly, as one text often uses multiple messages.

We can communicate with multiple employees at once and quickly offer jobs to our external team members.

I don’t like that when I scroll down in my messages and interact with employees, it doesn’t allow me to keep scrolling at the same point I was at when I clicked on that message. Instead, it jumps me to the most recent messages. This usually happens after I’ve viewed or interacted with two or three messages. 

I also don't like that the automatic closed message sends multiple times when an employee responds to our message multiple times after hours.

It helps us communicate effectively with our external team members, send them job offers, and keeps our phones from ringing off the hook.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

Takes just 30 seconds to create a message and reach our customers — that alone makes Textedly worth it.

The UI/UX is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. Once set up, it’s extremely user-friendly and doesn’t require constant figuring out, which is huge when you’re running a busy business.

Performance has been excellent. Messages go out quickly and reliably, and it’s honestly refreshing to have a direct way to reach customers without relying on social media algorithms. No more spending time creating posts over and over on Facebook hoping people actually see them.

While we’re just getting started building our subscriber list, the pricing already feels like a strong value. The ROI potential is clear — it’s a much more direct and effective communication tool compared to traditional marketing channels.

Support and onboarding have been outstanding. Paige has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and made the entire setup process smooth and stress-free.

Overall, Textedly is a powerful, easy-to-use platform that gives businesses a much more reliable way to connect with customers. I’m excited to continue growing our list and using it more.

The only real downside so far has been the learning curve at the beginning — figuring out all the features and best ways to use them takes a little time, especially if you’re new to SMS marketing.

Also, since we’re just starting to build our subscriber list, we haven’t fully tapped into everything the platform can do yet.

That said, once everything is set up, it’s very easy to use, and support has been great in helping along the way.

Textedly solves the biggest issue we’ve had with marketing — actually reaching our customers.

With social media, you can spend time creating posts and still have no idea who’s seeing them. Textedly gives us a direct, reliable way to communicate without relying on algorithms.

It also saves a ton of time. Instead of constantly creating new posts, we can send a quick message in seconds and get information out immediately.

As our subscriber list grows, this is going to be one of our most valuable tools for promotions and events.

I appreciate Textedly for its ability to effectively communicate with webinar participants. It's really helpful for sending reminders leading up to the webinar, ensuring they show up. I also value the quick list creation and sending of text messages or emails to the list all at once because it's fast. The Textedly team is really good at resolving issues, such as when they refunded me for duplicate message charges. I've recommended Textedly to others, rating it a 10 in terms of likelihood to recommend.

The first time we sent the messages out, it sent out two messages instead of one, so we got billed twice. But the Textedly team was really good at refunding those messages. So it'd be great if it was clear if we're only sending one message out or two messages before we get started. Also, had to talk to the Textedly team three times during setup because we were moving very fast and wanted to make sure the phone number was set up correctly, though it was good once we talked to the team.

I find Textedly to be simple to use, which makes it easy for my customers to sign up and allows them to text back. The initial setup was super easy, and though it's been a while, I don't remember encountering any difficulties. I also appreciate how Textedly lets my customers know about open spots or good booking times, helping me fill available slots on the charter boat.

I wish the sign up form could be more automated. Instead of getting numbers submitted that I have to put time aside to add to my contacts. They should go straight into contacts. Also wish there was a lower tier option that let you keep your account but with no new messages added to your account. I had 60,000 messages but it wasn't worth almost $40 a month when I can't use them right now.

It's a bit of a process to get an account set up, mainly because it takes a few days to coordinate the custom phone number. This is mainly due to the reality of waiting on a third party to approve the number. A status notification on the dashboard could help alleviate any doubts about account setup.

We have begun using this as a way to gather new customers via social media contests by immediately connecting new subscribers with sale offers. The scheduling feature lets me cover weeks' worth of texts in just an hour. I like using keywords and tags, as they make sending out texts for huge events as well as more intimate ones really easy. I can easily send out texts to those signed up for any event without manually separating the names. As a newer user, I find it all easy to use!

I think that you should create a deleted feature. I like having the confirmation that my message truly was deleted and that no one will receive it.

**What do you like best about Textedly?**

Everything is put together well to make it easier to text your employees.  It's all step-by-step.  And I like that there is no guessing.  Then we can check to see if folks GOT the text.  The follow-through is crucial to me.  It lets me know that the message is received and we can at least know they were reminded even if they fail to show up for their training.  Our employees depend on getting their texts for company information and training events.  I really didn't think they would!  So it's a big win for us all the way around.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

When employees leave our company, we cannot delete them from the database.  If they come back, we can't re-activate them.  They have to join on their own and that is just not a priority for them until they miss something important.    I'd like to be able to delete their information when they quit, then re-enter it when they return to work.

**Recommendations to others considering Textedly:**

If you are considering a great company for texting your employees, you really should consider Textedly.  The price is right, the customer service is spot on and I think you'll come to depend on it like we do.

We keep our employees informed about their training dates, weather information, and company activities.  It really keeps them engaged!  They have come to depend on receiving their texts that remind them about their training dates. I like being able to give a keyword to people where they just text it to the number, and they're automatically subscribed. I appreciate the ease of access of that, which makes it convenient for the end user. It's really about the ease of communication, allowing us to communicate much better to parents and teens because they see the messages right on their home screens.

I don't like how we've been charged for an extra keyword when I removed it in the system, and I think there should be an easier way to remove the keyword and not get charged for it. The local area code phone number is advertised as "free" but there's actually a charge for it. Also, we didn't get approved for it.

Textedly improves communication with parents and teens by making messages easily visible on their home screens of their phones. The keyword feature simplifies subscription, enhancing ease of access.

It's incredibly easy to use and implement! I love the reporting capabilities, the messaging, the AI assistance with writing a message. What isn't there to love about the platform. It's a massive upgrade from our previous service!  The customer support is outstanding and incredibly responsive!

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

There is only 1 "downfall" we have come across and that's the ease of our customers knowing how to opt back in to messages. When someone opts out while it does inform them of the "1st step" in opting back in (sending a message of unstop or start), it does not instruct them on the 2nd part of the process (sending a 2nd text of the company keyword). We need to reach out to customer outside of textedly to instruct them of this.  I wish we could customize the opt out reply so that it could include that additional step.

Textedly is allowing us to reach out to our clients and inform them of important up coming information. With this platform we are able to more easily parse out group of our clients to send specific messaging to specific groups. The onboarding call with Haley was great. She was really helpful and followed up with several things as we got our number registered. The chat part with Sarah was also great. She was thorough in answering questions when I wasn't sure what was missing or what to do next. Overall, I feel like they've been great at answering questions when I had them as I was getting set up.

**What do you dislike about Textedly?**

Every time I log in, which is frequently while I'm getting things set up, I have to have a code emailed, and that is super annoying. I know it's for privacy or safety purposes, but I feel like there should be a better way to stay logged in. It's a lot of trouble to go back and forth every single time I wanna log in. The registration of the number, while I understand why I needed to show all the things I did, it really was just a hard process. It was a process that I definitely needed some hand holding on to get through the different steps of getting the number registered. It required a lot outside of Textedly that I was not prepared for. The initial setup was actually pretty tedious just because of the phone registration. The whole payment part was ridiculous. It kept telling me it wasn't taking it, and then it charged me twice. And they did refund it, but getting the paid plan set up and then getting the number registered was quite a chore.

The billing process is uncomplicated, and I appreciate being able to bill month to month with an invoice that I can just send to the city, which simplifies what is normally a tedious process. It's also easy to upload large groups of phone numbers, especially when managing a lot of applications, which is a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy.

The workflow is simple.  It's easy to add contacts, send to a specific list, and keep up with the replies.  I also appreciate the roll-over credits that come in handy during peak times.

We only have one number, and only send to one list.  It would make it a little more convenient if it defaulted to those selections.  

The Two Factor Authentication sometimes does not work, making it difficult to sign in from a mobile device.

It allows us to push information to our sales force at a moment's notice and give them access to resources to increase transactions quickly.

I like Textedly's ease of use from a user perspective. The reporting is very easy to get and not difficult to understand. Our employees find the platform very easy in terms of receiving messages. I appreciate the communication opportunity it provides, which is the modern way most of our employees prefer, compared to older methods like email. The platform allows me to attach pictures for recognition or send direct messages, which is very handy. Also, the initial setup was very easy with no issues, making the transition smooth.

The one thing that I will only suggest is that the cost per user is pretty steep. You know, so I would sometimes like to have a couple more users on my account. But I think that having additional the cost for an additional user is a little high.

Textedly provides a direct contact to customers without having to solely rely on social media, and it adds a level of exclusivity because customers have to opt in. I love that it is easy to use and that it scales with my business as our customer base grows. I also like how easy it is to integrate my client list. It would be very tedious to enter each contact individually, so I love that I can just upload my list and Textedly updates it for me, including any overlapping contacts.

It would be nice to be able to purchase texts in smaller batches than 500, as my company is still small and growing. I also wish that there was an app I could use from my phone to contact customers so I didn't have to log in to Textedly from a desktop just to respond back to customers.

I also appreciate that it's less expensive and works well with my seasonal business, allowing me to adjust the service level according to the season. Once everything was set up initially, it made managing communications so much faster.

I wish there was an actual app that I could open up on my phone or my tablet. As it is now, I do have to go access the website to answer any text coming from my customers and also to send out a text.

The UI isn't always easy and the language doesn't help. What's a KEYWORD actually anyway?
