What do you like best about TeXnicCenter?

TeXnicCenter is in my opinion the best editor for LaTeX documents. It is very comprehensive, and integrated a plethora of tools, including for compilation and visualization of the generated documents.It works very well with the integration of BibTeX files for references. What do you dislike about TeXnicCenter?

What I dislike the most about it is that it is only available on windows platform. They are not developing a Mac version of it, which is really annoying.

There is also a bit of a learning curve to find all the tools, but if you are already familiar with LaTeX, that shouldn't be much of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TeXnicCenter:

If you are a Windows user and work with LaTeX documents, this is the tool to go with. I personally did my entire PhD thesis with it, and it was really great and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeXnicCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?

LaTeX documents editing and production. It allows to have a truly extensive text editor that combines a tex to pdf compiler. Making the whole process easy and smoot to go from raw text in latex form to pdf ready to send. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
