Terefic is an easy tool for running a preliminary check on a candidate you want to consider. It is very straightforward and checks their online presence and history to determine the likelihood of fraud. It is quick and usually pretty accurate. Their customer service is also very helpful and knowledgeable. They offer services for reference checks as well, however, we only use the verification aspect of the tool. It does not catch/show potential matches for nicknames/other accounts. For example, John/Jonathan Smith. You may have to run both names as two searches to ensure you cover your bases. It would be nice if it could correlate the two.

It is difficult to get an accurate usage/activity report per user, as activity is transferred when an account changes hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
