integration to all data is esential user friendly

we encounter some of records were not transfer during migration. No sertain if has something to do with TM.

I find it less time consuming than the other system I used in the pass

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

Tekmetric covers almost every need we have in our shop. It is so easy to use and the new app helps our technicians do DVI's quicker. It's integrations with other companies marketing software is also extremely helpful. It is also very easy to implement with new hires.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

The only thing I would say needs help is processing warranty work and keeping track of it but sounds like it is in the works.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a couple of clicks I can have all the reports I need to keep a close eye on my business.

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

It is very easy to use. I love that users can get on the feature board and submit suggestions/requests. Our customers love the estimate text option and I love that they have to sign to authorize. Customer support is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

Unable to add a second name to primary account, such as a spouse. Unable to personalize certain text messages such as when an estimate is text or a job is completed.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Labor times, parts availability from all of our suppliers, ease of texting customers. Carrying over previous "jobs" such as oil changes.

That Tekmetric is always making updates and the fact they have merged with Shopgenie to give the best customer experience.

Managing our inventory and returns. I would like to find a report that would tell me how many of a certain part number that I sold for the year.

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

TekMetric has been huge for our shop, it allows our mechanics to effectivley document how a truck arrives, what is recommended and how the truck leaves. Being able to add photos for reference and send a quick text message to the customer without leaving the program.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

TekMetric will sometimes not save an inspection or if someone else goes into it the tech's words can be deleted causing work to be duplicatedl

TekMetric has been a huge help to cover the shop by having documents noted and photos all in one location

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

It has a very easy to use userinterface and all the essentials functions. The reports are also very helpful to get an overview of the activity in the shop. We are able to track everything from parts orders and returns to repair orders to payments all in the same place.

There are some functionalities that are missing but they are not absolutely essential.

Tekmetric tracks everything for us and makes it easy to assign jobs to technicians, create estimates and invoices for customers, order parts, and take payments.

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

We switched from another shop management software that was slow and antiquated.  Tekmetric is a game changer.  We were shocked at the amount of support we received from the Tekmetric team.  The features are intuitive and advanced; a huge upgrade from where we were at previously.  We are able to reach out to customers seamlessly and quickly.  I love being able to check repair orders and messages anywhere; I don’t have to be chained to my desk anymore!

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

The only downside I see is the learning curve.  It does take time to master the platform.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tekmetric is a total gamechanger when it comes to communication with the customers.  Everything is integrated and it is easy to reach customers at their preferred method.

How quick and efficient everything is. Also very resourceful! Very easy to use and great customer support.

There not much to dislike about tekmetric other than kpis arent as accurate but pretty close.

Teckmetric has been key in providing more support when it comes to overcoming objections.

As the owner, tekmetric reports help me stay infomed about shop performance. The service advisors have customer service and quick parts ordering  and estimate reviews at their finger tips. The technicians have easy access to lanor guides, vehicle history and ca  write their own tickets. I also really appreciate all the integrations to streamline the business.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

I wish there were goh and gp calculation on an emtire ticket. Right now it only show this per job.

Ease of access to infomation.

The ease that Tekmetric via Accounting Link integrates with QuickBooks Online, the Tech Board is an awesome tool and is my favorite for ease of moving jobs from tech to tech. Tech Support for Tekmetric and the Accounting Link are some of the best in the business.  Implementaion was mostly painless.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

There are a lot of clicks to enter each RO, you do get much faster as you use it.  The do continue to make changes to make things easier to use.  Template to upload parts needs to be more user friendly.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were very old school and wanted to move everything to digital and this was the only system that had the display the way we needed it.

Tekmetric is easy to use and easy to train on. On top of that, it is constantly evolving as a software with new updates coming out very often. All the updates they integrate have been voted on by the community using it, so there is never something that we dont want.

Service outages can be an issue, but it seems to be getting better with time.

Tekmetric helps keep my customers in the loop, show clients work that needs to be done through digital inspections, and keeps my technicians on track.

There really isn't anything that I don't like about Tekmetric!  It is very easy to use.  The representatives are always super quick to help.  I highly recommend to all Automotive repair shops.

The only thing that drives me crazy is that refunds are not the easiest to make happen.

They are making it so that more techs can be on a job, labor guide is all caught up, and there online help rocks!

ease of uses, helps keep the process well organized and easy for the guest understand

no real downside that i can think of. Some features that could help would be better discription on labor (e.g. spark plug labor were you need to also do a upper intake gasket states that you need to do it).

Everything is self contained I dont need another website to login to. The customer support was also really good as I rolled it out there were always people there helping me. We use this everyday from the DVI to invoice, it also helps with our quickbooks.

The cloud, to dependent on the internet, but thats fine I never have any internet outages.

I enjoy using the parts buying and ordering intigration as well as the personalized inspections that can be made by the business.

I don't like the amount of menu navigation required to merge a vehicle between customers or the dealer as a customer.

Efficent, increased my service advisors and technician productivity. Constently upgrading and making it better. customer service. questions answered and recieve help very quickly. Ease of use and quickly up to speed.

not sure. The font size on printed invoices are really small for me to read (limited vision) Might be a way to make larger, I haven't looked into it yet.

Being able to check in, track, work from anywhere. Ease of use, complete digital conversion.

Now that multi techs on labor lines is live that has fixed our only real gripe. 

One thing i do wish is the comission stuff worked better/ took FOH info and adjusted it for GP.

Communication from techs to customers. And giving the ability to be completely transparent with our clients.

Tekmetric puts all of the necessary information in front of you in an easy to find system. The built in DVI makes informing customers on their car a breeze

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

Tekmetric does have a small learning curve but once you get the feel it smoothes out

With tekmetrics feature request board they are always working to solve many issues that come with maintaining the shops book keeping

We have talked w/ a few shop software company's over the last 15 years. And we have never seen a company that is so active with its user base. The interface is easy to work with and access anywhere on any device is amazing compared to our last software.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

Parts tickets need to be streamlined and shroud not be in several of the reports. Ordering/stock could use some heavy work as well.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting is superior to anything else we have used. Integrated inspections works far better then using outside company's to integrate into your existing software. Our whole system runs smoother with Tekmetric.

Tekmetric has been a great asset, you're able to take pictures,  videos, be very descriptive and also send out digitally to customers. Very responsive if you have issues or need help. The system very seldom goes down.

Currently there isn't an APP but they are working on it.

Currently don't have any problems, however the App will be nice when it rolls out.

It helps us be efficient and quickly see our KPI's.  There are many integrations to keep everything connected.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

The training wasn't great for us.  A mobile app would be great.

It helps us get estimates out to customers in an efficient manner.  It allows us to collect payment remotely which keeps us efficient with drop off/pick up customers.  It has integrations with quickbooks to allow us to be more efficient with bookkeeping.

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

The Repair Order and Vehicle Inspections are easy to use and find. It's nice to be able to make your own inspection. I also like that I can add all of my students (140) as employees and there is no limit.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

I haven't found a downside of using Tekmetric. The integration with Alldata and local parts stores makes the whole process easy.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tekmetric is solving the problem we were having of upselling work. The digital inspection allows us to share inspections and save them for later. Now we can follow up with customers about their inspection form.

Being a service advisor I need to be able to create repair order with parts and labor as well as sourcing parts to be able to sell to the customer easier.

**What do you like best about Tekmetric?**

The Dashboard, because I can see the status of every car all at once. They have tags integrated into each profile to list a specific condition (ie: waiting on parts, in progress). We are a small and very busy shop. I cannot afford to let anything slip through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Tekmetric?**

I wish I had more control over SMS formatting. The notifications are generic and I would like to customize my messages. Also, when customers open the link to the estimates, they are always asking how much is it all together. I wish I could format that as well. But I believe these are not insurmountable issues.

**What problems is Tekmetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This begins with my old management software that claimed integrations but required tech support to perform basic integration. Jobs were often hidden in a drop down menu so I would occasionally miss something that needed attention.  Tekmetric provides seemless integration with my vendors with just a login. All the jobs are visible and tagged for independent status. These are just a couple items that it solves, but I could go on and on.

Its cloud based so we can view reports, RO's and customer history from anywhere. Customer support is responsive and helpful. Constant and ongoing updates and upgrades. Ease of use and integration, very intuitive.

When it goes down due to updates or issue. No notification during outages only after.

Ability for techs to view and entery data on RO's and DVI's, this saves steps and increases visibility for service advisors. Techs can load on phones or tablets to capture photos and videos, saves time writing out specifics.

I like how user friendly and intuitive the sofware is. They listen to our concerns and make improvements in the software based on what we need

The inspections. They are very difficult to mark up photos without it looking sloppy. The schedule is hard to schedule should have options for different time increments so we can put in appointments on the hour rather than just the half hour.

Customer support has been mostly excellent but possibly understaffed. As a user, when there is a problem it is critical to get a response. Time is money...

When they have outages. They tend to be short and all internet managment sofware has this problem.  I feel like they could do some sort of hybrid system where current info could be stored on our computers here for when it happens. When it goes out we can't even bill out customers because we can't see how much customers owe.

The systems response is lighting speed, it rarely goes down and when it does it is typically back up within a minute and the options to customize are second to none. Customer support is amazing. They listen to their clients feature requests. They communicate changes and upcoming releases. I wouldnt switch for anything!
