The possibility of adding the time worked in hours to each of the projects and sub-tasks. The preview of the video links when posting a new comment. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** when there are too many tasks and projects it is difficult to find a specific one. Difficulty opening new projects and tasks. the interface is not intuitive, many tools are difficult to find. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** The organization of projects is good and always having the tasks listed helps a lot to not forget all the work that needs to be done, in addition, the interaction with the various work teams through the platform is very agile. ### 2. It is highly adaptable and can be applied to many use cases within your organization to address scheduling needs. Additionally, the ScheduleSource team is willing to go above and beyond to support their customers to ensure their software exceeds expectations. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** There is not a lot to dislike about TeamWork from ScheduleSource because they are quick to address any issues that arise. One thing that would make their software stronger would be the addition of forecast algorithms and advanced AI to support planning. **Recommendations to others considering TeamWork by ScheduleSource:** If you are looking for an affordable solution for staff planning and scheduling that will offer you a high degree of flexibility, you should seriously consider partnering with the team at ScheduleSource to serve your needs. You will find an expert group of folks that will go above and beyond to deliver tangible solutions to your company. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** TeamWork allows your organization to plan and deliver employee schedules seamlessly across the enterprise. Employees are empowered to interact with their shifts through a cloud-based portal available on a desktop workstation or mobile app. There is also robust back-end functionality through customizable reports and APIs. ### 3. It makes it very easy for the admin or the lead to organize the workflow for a team. It does not only cover scheduling but also has other in-built capabilities like messaging or dropping your files etc. Very convenient for everything. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** The learning curve could be steep initially, but you can get used to it after constant use, maybe because the interface isn't built smartly. At times, I have also faced a few glitches with shift swapping. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** We utilized it mainly for scheduling shifts, tracking timelines, and also for communication within the organization. We also used to share files, and it helped store all the documentation of a project in one place. ### 4. I think that the software does great in helping everyone organize their schedules. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** I wouldn't say I like the login page, and I think that the login page needs improvement for design and usability. I think that sometimes the login page is glitcy. **Recommendations to others considering TeamWork by ScheduleSource:** I recommend improving the login page. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think that the software is excellent for solving collaboration projects which require inputs from multiple stakeholders who may be actively involved for contributing from different time points. ### 5. A dream for the PMP on your staff but... **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Diane P. | Technical Support Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2020 **What do you like best about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** TeamWork is a well organized, almost to a fault, program that keeps your project and project team members aligned in terms of tasks and communication. Creating project teams is straight forward and the moving parts of a project are very clear. The internal chat is a nice feature that shows you immediately if someone is active and online which has been helpful for projects where teams are geographically separated. Administering the application has a bit of a learning curve requiring some effort to find the settings you need for team maintenance and down level communication but is not too cumbersome as to make it a deal breaker. The ability to integrate other automated processes through a custom built or canned API made this especially well suited for our infrastructure. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** On the downside, TeamWork is extreme overkill if all you want is something to "just keep things organized" more than a spreadsheet or a simple access database. In our environment, the CIO wanted a place where all information was kept which required us to duplicate efforts. Notes from our ticketing system, scheduling software, and outlook all had to be replicated into TeamWork for him to reference on the rare occasion he needed it. Unfortunately, there is no way to automate any of that duplicated effort. While TeamWork was made the record of reference, the amount of man hours required to maintain TeamWork as the keeper of all that is project related while using other software as part of the day to day non-project/project activities. TeamWork seems to think theirs is the only application needed to run the business and as such has tried to take a kitchen sink approach to their project management tool. While the PMP and CAPm people think this is the bees knees, those not trained in all that is project management find it heavy handed for the less structured projects. Additionally, we ultimately gave it up because, for us, we barely used 10% of it's capabilities, the previously mentioned CIO left the company, the engineering team was already using JIRA, and frankly, the cost, based on the number of projects you have documented in the system, was no longer justified. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** We eventually migrated to their integrated chat for our internal communication software. We found the chat to be friendly, easy to use, easy to maintain and informative. The ability to archive projects was helpful given the number of projects we completed during the year. While expensive, the scalability to increase the number of projects by throwing money at the application was a nice feature. It ultimately did exactly what we needed it to do, be the record of reference for all project members. Our rule was if ti is not in TeamWork, it didn't happen, which ultimately kept things well documented and well organized. ### 6. It takes time to adjust to the different components of the website, but the layout is very simple. It is straightforward about what goes where, and is very easy when it comes to submitting availability. The messaging portal is also very useful to contact your supervisors or co-workers. Leave management is also 2 steps away. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** The pages throttle a lot when there are multiple clicks in less time. It gets annoying because you lose shifts while having to sign out and sign in. It also could use a notification option everytime we receive a message, or there's an event. **Recommendations to others considering TeamWork by ScheduleSource:** The best place to manage work schedules, shifts and availabilities. If your workplace has a convenient schedule, this is how you manage it. I would definitely recommend Teamwork by Schedulesource to everyone who has a shift based work system. Scheduling work has never been easier. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** My work schedule as a public relations assistant is mainly maintained through teamwork by schedulesource. My tasks here include picking up, dropping shifts, submitting availability, and maintaining my weekly schedule for work. Availability submission is probably the best feature on this, since we get to submit all the specific times we are available to work, with the ability to set priorities to the days of the week. ### 8. The ease with which you can pick up, swap, drop shifts is very good. The submitting availability option gives us the flexibility in working, and letting the employers know our schedule. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** The website throttles most of the time if you refresh too much, or press the same button more than thrice, which is annoying since you miss out on picking shifts, when that happens. There also is captcha verification sometimes, which leads to missing out on shifts. **Recommendations to others considering TeamWork by ScheduleSource:** Best service to use if your employment has flexible work schedules. **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** Picking, dropping shifts, and posting shifts on swapboard. I also submit availability so that they can allot shifts based on my schedule. We use it at our company to schedule the 50 employees we have working hourly and my favorite part is that it makes it very easy to pick up and swap shifts with different employees. Whereas other scheduling services might require employees to go through their scheduling manager when trying to get a shift covered or traded, ScheduleSource makes it so easy for anybody to quickly swap a shift when coverage is needed. I also love how we can templatize our schedule for the next week or month, but also override the template on a day-to-day basis if need be. Our clock-in system is also connected to ScheduleSource so we can also see the exact times employees were clocked on for through the ScheduleSource website. **What do you dislike about TeamWork by ScheduleSource?** I don't love the interface of this website. While there is the option to go to the mobile version which is nice, it's still not designed very well and it's not very intuitive, how to look at shifts, etc. Since I've been using this product for a couple years now, I am well-versed in the different options you can choose, but I remember when I was first exposed to this website, it was not easy to grasp. **Recommendations to others considering TeamWork by ScheduleSource:** Definitely get this product! It's made our lives much easier in terms of scheduling. Strongly recommend! **What problems is TeamWork by ScheduleSource solving and how is that benefiting you?** TeamWork by ScheduleSource allows for ease of scheduling and ease of setting availibility, swapping shifts, trading shifts, splitting shifts, merging shifts, and picking up shifts. I love how easy it is to tailor your week to your own schedule. ### 10. It also helps you see where and when your shifts have been assigned along with its duration.
