I like how easy it is to access and control a PC with TeamViewer. I can access my own PC remotely, troubleshoot someone else’s PC without being there, and help clients in other countries without traveling. It’s useful when I’m working from home or helping someone in another place, and I can take control of their PC instead of just telling them what to do. I can get started by asking for their TeamViewer code, without needing both PCs to be signed in to the same account. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think TeamViewer could do a better job with security, since I’ve seen people get scammed through access to other people’s PCs. Giving someone limited temporary access currently takes technical knowledge. I’d like an easy way to set access permissions or get a warning about a potential scam, but I also wouldn’t want added security steps to stop people from getting the tech support they need.
