I appreciate Teamgate's sales-oriented, intuitive user interface paired with practical out-of-the-box sales insights, which fits our mid-sized SaaS company well. It's streamlined so our sales team can focus on moving deals forward instead of fighting complicated menus, reducing my time on user training and troubleshooting. I value the built-in forecasting and performance tracking capabilities; now I can quickly access pipeline snapshots and track individual rep performance. The native ICP targeting functionality stands out, allowing our sales team to prioritize high-fit accounts. We also have a good experience with their customer support, as they respond promptly and provide actionable guidance. The integration with Survicate and Microsoft 365 allows survey responses and email threads to attach directly to contact and opportunity records, giving reps full background context before client calls. Teamgate excels in pre-sales deal management, although it doesn't handle post-sale customer success activities, which is fine since we have a separate system for that. While Teamgate delivers solid core value for our pre-sales pipeline at NexData GmbH, there are several areas that create extra manual overhead for our SaaS marketing and sales teams, especially working with DACH-region B2B clients. First, customization options for fields and workflows are more limited compared to larger enterprise-grade CRM platforms. We would like to build more nuanced conditional automation that aligns with our multi-stage SaaS qualification process. Some of our unique lead-routing rules cannot be set up natively, so I have to create work-around processes. Frequently, I export datasets and apply additional filtering inside Excel to segment prospects by industry, company size, and geographic market for our marketing campaigns. Second, the reporting module lacks enough pre-built templates for marketing-sales alignment use-cases. We want to analyze how our Survicate survey feedback correlates with deal progression, but there is no out-of-the-box report to combine survey responses with opportunity stages. Every time I prepare for cross-department meetings, I need to export raw CSV data and reconstruct charts externally. This adds extra preparation time to my monthly workflow. For custom fields, we can add standard text, dropdown, and date fields, yet we lack support for conditional field visibility. In our qualification process, certain fields around technical-stack details and contract terms should only appear once a deal reaches the proposal stage. Right now, those fields stay visible on every deal card from the very first lead phase, which clutters up the layout for sales reps and creates opportunities for incomplete or incorrect early-stage data entries. We also cannot build custom-linked objects. We want to tie multiple survey responses pulled from Survicate directly to one single opportunity record, instead of only storing them inside generic text fields. Because of this restriction, I often have to export deal data to Excel and manually map survey feedback for our marketing-sales review meetings. On the workflow-automation side, trigger-and-action options are fairly rigid. We can set simple rules such as assigning a rep when a new lead arrives, but complex multi-branch conditional logic is not supported natively. For example, we want different follow-up sequences to fire based on prospect industry, company size and deal value at the same time. We cannot stack those multiple filter conditions within one workflow. Our workaround is creating several separate duplicate workflows, which becomes hard to maintain and audit as our pipeline grows. I would welcome more pre-built workflow templates tailored for SaaS-style lead qualification, demo follow-ups and proposal-stage nurturing, instead of building every sequence completely from scratch. Beyond fields and automation, there are a couple more areas worth enhancing. First, the duplicate-detection logic could be smarter. We regularly get near-duplicate lead records coming from our website forms and Survicate; the current matching rules rely heavily on exact-match email addresses, so contacts created with slight email variations slip through and create redundant entries our team has to merge manually. Second, deeper integration flexibility for survey tools would be valuable. Right now Survicate connects via Zapier, but there is no native way to surface survey scores and feedback snippets directly inside Teamgate’s deal view without manual field population. None of these gaps stop us from running our core pre-sales operations, but richer conditional customization would cut down a large amount of my regular manual export, data-mapping and workflow-maintenance overhead.
