"Excellent Process Mapping Solution with a small Learning Curve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TaskMap?

TaskMap is an excellent process mapping solution that I've found to be very user-friendly and easy to get started and use right away. I was able to get the basics of the software up and running in just a couple of hours with very minimal guidance from the support agents. The support agent I spoke with was very helpful and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. After a couple of days, I was able to understand the software well enough to map out my first process, which was a simple but multi-step process and required me to import data from multiple different sources and then map the workflow from start to finish. I found this to be extremely easy to do and I didn't have a problem coming up with a visual representation of the workflow that I needed. After completing this process, I saved it as a template for future use and was able to quickly map other processes that I had to complete in the future using the same templates that I had saved. I use TaskMap on a regular basis to map out my projects and I would say that my experience has been very positive so far. I would definitely recommend this solution to anyone looking for an easy to use and cost-effective solution to help them map out their business processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaskMap?

The first drawback that I encountered was that the software does not have the option to create your own custom icons or shapes for process maps. Instead, all of the icons and shapes available to you are pre-made and cannot be customized. I find this to be somewhat of a limitation because it would be great to be able to customize the icons and shapes to represent different types of objects in a process map such as objects like documents and people rather than just generic shapes such as boxes, arrows, and circles. But since the software is pretty new, I'm guessing this is something that they might look into adding in a future update so it might be something they eventually offer as an add-on package at some point down the road.
