What I like about Tana is how it helps me stay organized across literature reading, meetings, research ideas, notes, study sessions, and follow-ups, without forcing me to juggle everything in separate systems. I especially appreciate the home dashboard feature, because it keeps what matters in a single view rather than scattered across multiple tools. Tana’s node-based structure is also genuinely useful, since it makes it easy to connect related pieces of information. For example, I can link notes from a research session to the follow-ups and tasks that come out of a meeting, so everything stays connected, coherent, and easy to revisit later. Tana offers so many ways to organize your workspace with Supertags and workflows that it can feel confusing at first, and it takes a while to get truly comfortable with how everything fits together. The AI-generated notes and transcriptions also aren’t flawless; they usually need a quick manual review, especially when the topic is more complex or nuanced. On top of that, the mobile experience still feels a bit clunky, and overall it could be much smoother and more polished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
