What do you like best about Tails?

This is the best privacy OS. I just boot my PC from a pen drive and run this OS on my PC without installation, and then run penetration testing tools. I can run this OS on very low-end devices even with 4GB RAM and a very low processor. I can install some advanced tools also in this OS if required. They provide a very clean UI and some penetration testing tools are already installed, so we don't need to install them. I use it when we need the highest privacy because it is not installed on my system and does not store any data on my system. If we remove the pen drive, all data is cleared, and then my previously installed OS shows. Also, this is completely free; no premium plan is required to use Tails OS. What do you dislike about Tails?

This is not good for everyday use. It runs on a pen drive, so some advanced tools face difficulty and some software does not work properly. When we remove the pen drive, our downloaded data is cleared and not stored in storage unless we configure persistent storage. Some tools which require a high graphics card do not run on this OS, and then we need to install another OS like Kali Linux or Parrot OS. What problems is Tails solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Tails, we needed to install a hacking OS on the system and required much higher configuration, but we don't need to install Tails on the system and can run on low-end devices. Also, its setup is easy and doesn't face any difficulty. I can run this OS even if I am using Windows 11, and we don't need to remove Windows 11, which is the best part of Tails OS. Also, in Tails OS, some tools are already installed like Tor Browser and some VPNs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
