What do you like best about Symantec IGA?

Symantec Identity Governance and Administration (Symantec IGA) provides a safe and secure solution to access management and governance capabilities. It has multiple and different connectors for servers and endpoints. It has various supports like load balancing, section 508 compliance, etc.; it has a sophisticated identity management capability. Word mining and risk campaigns are the most valuable features of this solution. We can decide who can access which application on which previlage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Symantec IGA?

Though Symantec Identity Governance and Administration (Symantec IGA) has all the features, interaction with the application might be slightly better. The dashboard needs to be improved. Integration with other products needs improvement. Creating own connetors is bit challenging. Web portal need more cutomization, when compared to standalone tool the web portal performance is vey much low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Symantec IGA:

One-stop solution to manage both identity management and access control. Identity governance helps support overall IT security and regulatory compliance. Put into simpler terms, IGA means leveraging the most intelligent and efficient path to mitigating identity risk in your business. The virtual Appliance form factor combines all components of Symantec IGA into a single appliance. Prevents security vulnerabilities through real-time policy enforcement. It has a version of a virtual machine so we can download it, run it, configure it, and it would take about 10 to 15 minutes to configure the cluster or so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Symantec IGA solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to secure our ID and access management by the real-time policy-based approaches and avoid the vulnerabilities. Entitlements certification helps us to examine and certify that privileges are appropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
