**What do you like best about Swell?**

I was amazed by the freedom of being able to develop sleek online stores for web, mobile or even virtual reality. Swell comes with a clean looking interface and claims the user is only limited by their imagination.  This truly can be the defining factor when it comes to providing bespoke customer communications.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I came to realize that some features were either fixed or required a lot of coding by the developers if one wanted to venture further beyond the templates provided. The idea of unlimited design liberty may sound appealing, it is not always the case in practice.

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swell helps reduce the amount of code that an online store owner has to write from scratch for creating specific functionality such as subscriptions and pre-order. This can be beneficial for businesses that are struggling to build their customer base.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I find Swell's pricing to be the most reasonable of all the companies in this field. I also appreciate that I can get a response from them when we are encountering an issue with the software. Also, many features like the photo we want to pop up for our webchat or even canned responses are customizable. All employees I have worked with are great at customer service.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

Swell's layout takes time to get used to. Having to either keep all conversations in the inbox or archive them is a bit frustrating. Also when trying to get many texts out back to back the program tends to freeze if you are going quickly. It will either not pull up the name you want or not allow you to type. Refreshing helps, just wish it worked at the speed I do. Another thing is auto delivery texts don't work properly. Some guests will get three texts in a row, and a few get none. We haven't solved that issue yet.

They seem to be trying to get our auto-delivery texts to work properly. I don't see any improvement on the freezing yet.

Best features is the group texting, scheduled texts, and being able to send out a mass text.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I wish you could alter between text or email, its quite the run around when you have to email a client.

It solves not having to call each one of our clients and also helps us answer questions of future customers via our website.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

Love how user-friendly Swell is! I set up with a rep how I wanted our review capturing requests to look, and everything after that was easy. We are a tour company, so there are hundreds of texts going out each day at different times, but I hardly have to do anything. It is well organized on the back end, making it easy to see the responses and troubleshoot any issues. Customer service is excellent as well.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I wish I could do a date filter on the beta experience like I can on the original experience. This would help me sort through the reviews from a certain time period, rather than having to browse to find the correct date, or switch over to the "original experience".

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling with low numbers on our reviews. The automated requests with direct links are making it easier for guests to leave comments about our tours.

Swell allows our clients to connect with us just like anyone else in their contact list.  It quickly brings our communication into their lives, creating more interaction and helping us access photos and documents.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

If Swell has a downside, I haven't noticed it yet!

It solves the issue of any client or prospect being unable to answer a phone call.  It also aids our clients in sending photos without going through the attachment process of an email.

It gave us the ability to text with our customers

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

Confusing.  Hard to close out chats.  Hard to search for existing clients via phone number or name.  There is the new interface and the old interface.  Keeping both was very confusing for staff.  Why not keep one?  But then there were things you could do in one interface you couldn't do in another.  

They need to simplify things. Pick an interface and go with it.  

Ultimately, we returned to the old texting software as it was easier to use.

They tried solving the problem of easier communication with our customers.  But their interface made it hard to use.

This application is very easy to use. The app is developed to help the user save time when sending reviews. You don't need to be a tech savvy to enjoy this app.

I can't think of anything I dislike about this application, from the design, interface to function. It is awesome, very recommendable product. Been using this for quite some time now.

We use Swell  to gather reviews from our client. Help us generate feedback from our service so we can improve. It also help us identify who amongst from us is performing well.

There are practical and efficient. I love how they give their best in providing excellent customer service. Unlike the others, this company is really reliable and fast.

In retrieving your account, they can help you with that. Because in my experience as a user, the agent is very patient and willing to help with your concern and good job for that.

Sometimes we can't find past conversations through search, but we're learning that if you use a name search you'll find what you are looking for.

It helps to improve on creating and making personalized messages. It also helps you improve your communication skills, which make your daily life easier and comfortable.

I think there are no reasons to dislike this because many things can help me improve my skills, especially in terms of communication and having good connections with others.

A lot of things but most probably is when checking the reviews, it really helps us to be more productive and efficient in every way, and help to think more higher and improve our cognitive skills.

it functions or at least tries to function like the superior podium product. Do NOT change from podium like I did to save some money, its not worth the heart ache and constant issues

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

facebook integration breaks all the time service worked on it for months without follow up or solutions till we had to do it ourselves, ended up figuring it out and teaching them how to fix it... then the team chat issues emails me every time a team chat occurs, when asking the support to stop this they said they couldn't. They make big promises and really fall flat.

**Recommendations to others considering Swell:**

do not use it, go with podium I will backing the switch back this fall when things slow down

absolutely nothing has been solved, I had a much better product when using podium and was talked into changing with big promises and lower costs and have been disappointed ever since

It makes asking for reviews really easy, and it makes it very easy for customers to give reviews.  If you have a solid product/service that people routinely give good feedback for, you want to incorporate Swell into your follow up processes.

Nothing.  It is a very intuitive product

Swell makes it really easy for customers to give feedback, both good and bad.  Obviously, positive reviews are what every business wants so if you routinely get good feedback on your product/service, incorporating Swell will quickly escalate your positive review count and help build your online reputation and credibility with future customers.

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swell integrates with our online booking software and automatically follows up with our customers after a purchase.  It is a great way for us to make sure we are delivering a good product/service to our customers and we have seen a huge boost in the number of reviews we have received since Swell makes it easy for the customer to review us.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

Swell takes the work off the front desk by automatically following up via text with patients after their Dental visits. It syncs with the practice management software and takes the leg-work off of the front desk to focus on other things. Swell also has a live chat feature that integration with SMS so that patients can be easily texted.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

Certain practice management software still do not fully sync with Swell, therefore reviews have to be sent manually and it causes extra work for the front desk to remember to have to send that.

**Recommendations to others considering Swell:**

Go for it! I have seen a GMB account go from 2 reviews to 200+ reviews in just 8 months - it's a great way to really boost your local SEO and have potential clients/patients find your business.

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick easy patient communication and answering questions through Live Chat for patients who prefer to text versus calling and growing out the Google My Bussiness listing, thus aiding it SEO growth within the local MapPack.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I really like being able to text chat feature allowing us to connect with clients without them having to be at their computers. With mobile browsing more popular than ever it is necessary to make communication convenient. In addition to the webchat, the reputation management service is great and has allowed us to surpass our competition google reviews although we are a much younger organization. Also, the ability to run unlimited text marketing campaigns to your entire contact list at no additional charge is a huge plus. No service contract is always an added bonus.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

The payment processing is often delayed and can have issues formatting correctly on android devices. Message notifications seem slower then Podium but for the price difference it is absolutely worth it.

Web Chat functionality, Text Campaigns, Reputation Management, Review Capture, Increased leads, Increase Productivity, Customer Relationship Management, Staff-Client Communication Accountability.

It helps our future clients to decide to get our services. It also help is to know how our ataffs are doing with our clients. And it is very easy to send out reviews to them.

Some mobile phone numbers are not accepted . i think it has certain numbers accepted only. So we opt to semd emails review which sometimes been unnoticed and forgotten.

Mostly, the customer service. People are so honest with their review and it helps us to know how are staffs interact to them. So we can imporove. i just wonder can I reply with those review?

**What do you like best about Swell?**

We have not found any upsides as to a lack of poor communication with customer service

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

We have had trouble syncing our software system with Swell. This has affected our review response from patients when we send out requests for reviews so our feedback from patients has gone down. We have contacted Swell's customer service to seek help with this issue and we are never able to get a representative on the line. We have sent messages to Swell, but no one has gotten back to us. This has been very disappointing.

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not had our problems solved by Swell as we are still unable to come in contact with a representative to alleviate our ongoing issues.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I like the service swell provides! I've received lots of reviews and the ability to chat with my guests when they are on my website is awesome!

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I didn't like how quickly they expected me to operate on my own. I have used similar services where the onboarding was a little more thorough. They were lucky that they had me in a contract because I tried to stop the service after the first several months because it doesn't always operate as it should and there is no customer service. I still think that there are many features of swell that I don't even know how to use.

Love that they follow up with my guests about reviews. I am able to change the wording on website to help answer the questions that get asked in the chat.

Swell creates a great way for our clients to contact us and a great way for our staff to contact their clients. It has also been a great tool for getting reviews from our customers once they have received their orders.

Nothing, it is a great service and we have not had any issues with the platform. We highly recommend it to anyone that would like to text with their clients and receive reviews.

It was an affordable way to have all the features that Swell provides. We were spending almost three times what Swell costs on the previous company we used.

We have solved several problems, such as getting more reviews from clients, being able to text message our clients and having a faster response from them. It has been a great solution for us.

The dashboard is easy to use. The support person that helped set us up was very friendly.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

With the light gray color for some reason, I feel that maybe things are inactive because that used to be an indicator in the past with software that light gray meant it wasn't working.

Great price point comparison. Has google review feater as well.

It is nice to have the chatbot on our website for clients to use.

I love that the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. It wants you to use it and use it well. The time to set up and get going is minimal but the information you get out of it is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I haven't been able to find anything at the current moment that would make me not want to recommend Swell to anyone. I enjoy using the platform and being able to get reviews and get new client information quickly.

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to speak with clients on the fly is really needed in a quick sales cycle. After working with a client being able to send them a request for a review and being able to post that to any platform is excellent.

p staff. I'm located in Hawai'i and generally have to wait a few days to get a response from support staff for other software. With SwellCX they're usually able to help correct any errors or offer help within 24 hours. Even when we first joined SwellCX the onboarding team (Jackson and McKenzie) were amazing and super knowledgable and helpful!

**What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems we're able to solve with Swell is our repeat customer communication, sending out mass texts for information and obtaining well over triple the amount of reviews we've had previously, on a monthly basis. I've realized that with Swell we were able to double our reviews in a matter of 1-2 months.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I like that we are able to set up templates for messaging so we don't have to keep typing the same thing over and over again. I like that we can archive messages and reference back to them if needed. It has been an incredibly helpful tool when contacting clients.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

I think that it runs a bit slow. I am not sure if that is a network error or something. Also, sometimes it would be helpful to delete messages permanently, but it's not necessary.

Swell helps us gain many new customer reviews, which has been beneficial as we acquire new customers. We also love using the text/email campaigns, and the chat feature for customers as well as our field support!

It took a while to figure out why reviews didn't work. Once we figured that out it was smooth sailing, but it was a process to get everything up and running that way

As of now all problems have been solved. (see above section). I have to make mention of Kenzie, she has been amazing with communication through us fixing all bugs and helping keep me in the loop with all questions and concerns

The only hiccup we have run into is forgetting to break patients' appointments that did not show, therefore they will still receive the review message, but that is an in-house issue, not with Swell.

We have worked for many years to create the image and reputation that we wanted for our busy practice but were lacking the outlet to be able to direct those patients that we have already built great relationships with to give us those 5 star reviews that we have already earned. Swell has been such a great way to capture those.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I really like the simplicity of Swell. It's clean, easy to use and makes the data easier to understand for our team. We've loved combining Podium and our Google Reviews into this platform that does both. It has been especially beneficial from a marketing and communications standpoint as well as benefiting our whole company. From a UX and UI perspective, it's very clean, minimal, and efficient. As a designer, I find the graphics to be helpful in understanding the data and the use of icons as a simple way to digest information. The chat feature on our website is better than what we used previously.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

What I like least about Swell is the ability to customize it. It's quite limited in deciding what information to have in each type of form, but with new software updates, that is in the process of changing. Although I am not the one who uses Swell like the marketing manager, I have found some frustration with it, especially in testing it. Some of those problems have been resolved and some are still being worked on today.

**Recommendations to others considering Swell:**

Understand the full potential of the platform so you know how to use it well when you start. Take the time to learn it well as a tool and not just as an add on.

Decide what you want it for, and how much you're willing to spend on what you're wanting. If swell is in that budget, then do it. It adds value to our office dynamic, for sure.

We wanted more positive reviews (solved) and an ability to text patients outside of our current ways (solved.)  The benefit is that it's worth the investment.

It works well to communicate with patients by recieving reviews. Texting works well with patients, so we enjoy that as an office. It is beneficial to use the tools for insights.

Patients have complained that Swell is not as user friendly and can be confusing when trying to leave a review. Some patients do not use text message, so they have no other way of using.

I like the personalized onboarding and customer service provided by Swell. I like that it instantly connected to my Google account and showed my past reviews as well as those reviews acquired through Swell invitations.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

The instant messaging and SMS text service needs to be more robust and flexible. I tried sending a single text message to two customers and they both received individual messages that resulted in a confusing set of divergent text strings that I eventually had to abandon. 
It also defaults to Google reviews and did not appear to easily and quickly allow me to add Facebook or Houzz review links in the same text. Lastly, the price is VERY high for a small sole proprietorship.

I have been able to acquire a couple Google reviews easily with minimal who're from my customers.

This feature makes it very easy for our customers to communicate with us, and it keeps track of conversations within the team. There are a lot of valuable features as well. One of my favorites is the mass text option. There are other companies that do what Swell does, but the value in Swell has been the best we have found!

We have not found any downsides of Swell at this time. Once you have been trained on it, it is very easy to use. The training only takes about 30 minutes.

Swell makes it very easy for us to communicate with our customers. Send a text for the answer they are looking for and move on to our next task. I believe it will help us get more clients because we are easily accessible.

Swell's dashboard is very user friendly (whether you are using the new dashboard or the old one)! I love the app that you can have on your mobile device, which makes it easier to answer chats anytime and anywhere!

As of this moment, there is nothing I dislike about Swell. We used other "chat" software and companies in the past, but so far Swell has by far been the best experience for us.

Just double check the features are everything you need! It is very cost-efficient and works very well compared to some of the other programs out there!

We have been able to catch so many leads after hours with the chat features even after hours. Having automated messages send clients (via text!!) when our office is closed has been amazing and allowed us to convert more leads that we were previously losing!

Not a fan of the online dashboard. It can be difficult to navigate and figure out where everything is or how to make new templates.

They are solving the issue of there not being 1 platform that allows you to do multiple contact methods. Swell allows me to send out review requests, email marketing, have a webchat on my website, and so much more which has helped me to take my business to the next level.

SWELL provides sms automation, simple review requests, and sequencing that can be complex if needed. The only chat box is a great and necessary feature.

They're still young.  So there are some features like integrating with Google My Business that is common with other SMS products.

**What do you like best about Swell?**

I like how you can see when another partner is typing instead of sending the messages twice. It is really convenient for work and for chatting online. It is pretty fast and I like how you can change from the original experience to the new experience. I like has a lot of different futures you can work with and how it has all the contacts from our system saved. The way how you can close down the chats with the original experience without having to delete them is a really cool feature. It is very friendly to use.

**What do you dislike about Swell?**

There are small features I don't like about swell like how there's a lot of random messages that pop up with weird numbers or names. There thing I dislike is how you can't turn off the chat over the weekend so you don't get a lot of chats on a Monday. I don't like how in the new experience you can get rid of the messages unless you delete them.

**Recommendations to others considering Swell:**

I would recommend you to update your page when you are waiting for messages using the authentic experience. Sometimes, it takes a few seconds for it to upload. Very user friendly, and I love how it has so many features you can use, like the templates are very convenient

I am solving my work problems, connecting with the customers. The way that I can chat with my team member with direct messages on swell. I do online sells. Help customers login to their account by chatting with them on swell. The fact that you can see the name and phone number is really beneficial through our end when when looking up a customer. The surveys have really helped us improve in our work as well.
