**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

What I like best about SwagUp is that it offers high-quality items, including brand items, that you can customize with your company logo. I also like that they have a platform that is easy to use, where you can place an order and create mockups of how your final products will look. They also have great customer support: you get assigned an account manager, and you can make any request, and they find a way to help you and make the product you have in mind come to life.
Creating company packages for new hires and special events is super easy with SwagUp, and they ship worldwide. This is a must for remote companies like mine.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

I was happy with all the features SwagUp offered.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SwagUp helped my company create special, branded Christmas gift packages for all our employees. It also helped by creating special items with our logo for retreats with clients and employees. It is the best promotional product management company.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

SwagUp was an approved vendor for our company, hence why we used them

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had working with a swag vendor. We launched a SwagUp store where individuals could choose their preferred combinations of swag, and several things went wrong. Emails went out to recipients before they were supposed to. Only one size was available for all clothing options (XS). Some swag options we had previously discussed were not included in the store. The credits functionality didn’t work, so no one could check out. I also had to follow up with the account rep multiple times for support and invoices.

Overall, the level of effort required to make this successful far outweighed any potential pros. I would not recommend.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

First and foremost, Emma Sullivan is one of the most helpful and supportive account executives I've ever worked with! As it was my 1st time using the platform, I have MANY questions and Emma was extremely quick to respond to my emails, helped answer all of my questions, AND even scheduled 2 phone calls with me to walk me through the process of creating an order and ensuring that it was done correctly. I have found the platform very easy to use and there are great features, one of which saved me a lot of time! There is a tab called Redeem and I was able to create a collection form to gather our employees sizes & addresses directly on the platform, versus using a 3rd party platform like Google Forms, which is what I would have otherwise used. Truly, it was overall an incredible and easy experience, and our team and I are very excited to get our swag soon! We've been working with Swagup for some time, and will continue to do so as they are great partners!

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

There isn't anything that comes to mind - the only feedback I would share is that it would be great to see more hoodie options that also ship internationally BUT there are already a good amount of options, and our team was able to find one that we all loved!

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SwagUp has been our swag go-to for a few years! We've been able to gift our team with great products that we love.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

The user interface is really nice in SwagUp - you can tell they've put some thought into how to quickly and easily navigate the app. There are still a slightly overwhelming amount of areas in the app that require you to click around until you find what you're looking for, but overall it's pretty easy to use.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

If you value a vendor that does a good job, then avoid SwagUp - it has been a disappointment. When we first started using it, the customer service and performance seemed to be very good. In more recent years though, that has all changed - so much so that we're now planning to switch to a competitor. Here's what I dislike about SwagUp:

- Unreliable. Seriously, they have one job which is to get the swag that you order to where you want it to go - and you'd better be ready to monitor your swag shipments because in the last 2-3 months we've had two instances where I submitted a swag shipment request, only to discover days/weeks later that SwagUp simply didn't ship the swag (it was sitting in a "pending" state). Reaching out to customer support means waiting the requisite "one business day" before anyone let's you know what is going on.

- Poor swag selection. When researching alternative options, pretty much everyone has a bigger selection than SwagUp does now-adays

- Poor customer service. I've had a couple instances where I chatted in to support, and could see that my message was read - and never received a response. One time I even had an inquiry (about international shipping) where I sent follow-up messages (eg. "Is anyone online?"), could see that it had all been read by someone, and still never got a response.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing and managing swag inventory. Streamlining shipment of swag to various locations without me needing to head into a UPS or Fedex to ship it myself.

Hands on customer service experience is top notch.  It is great to connect with people rather than just a robot chat. The team is also helpful through changing needs and many questions.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

SwagUp has an attractive website with an easy-to-use portal for sourcing and ordering merchandise. That's the extent of the positive traits for SwagUp.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Where to begin .. we used SwagUp for well over a year, and there has been nothing, but issues since we made the decision to not proceed with an Executive subscription and only use their services on an "as needed" basis. 

Immediately, all customer service ceased. The only way we could contact any one at SwagUp was through their portal chat bot. 

We also started having issues with international shipping services. Multiple times, shipments were flagged or held at customs (for several countries) due to improper invoice filing that was created on SwagUp's end. Each time these issues occurred, SwagUp never notified us. Typically, our recipients would alert us to the delays. When we would inform SwagUp via chat bot, they'd claim to investigate the issue, take days to respond (if at all) and would never actually resolve anything. If it was resolved, it was due to our company or the recipient's persistance with providing any documentation or information needed to progress the shipment. 

This occurred another time with a shipment to China. Unfortunately, SwagUp went so long without notifying us or the customer about the delay that the items were destroyed due to failure to collect. This cost us hundreds in merchandise, not to mention shipping. When I reported this issue, I was informed that SwagUp would not refund us for any of the losses. What was most alarming is that the logged record of the shipment was removed from our dashboard in SwagUp, immediately after I expressed my frustration with SwagUp's lack of accountability and the support member offered to connect me with their Customer Care Department, which never happened. Our account also now seems to be blocked from connecting to the chat bot. We can send messages, we can see that the support team is active, but they never respond to us. 

I reported this issue on May 21, it's been a month and I still haven't gotten a response from any actual human at SwagUp. This company will leave you high and dry. Buyers beware.

Originally, SwagUp was a great way for us to create personalized promotional gifts and kits for our recipients. However, it's progressively become a service we regret paying for.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

The ease of use and transparency into what is going on for our merchandising.  Most companies in this space are old school with no tech platform.  This is far beyond what I've seen out there and it makes this process so much easier to manage for internal SWAG and external client gifts.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Not much at all.  They continue to do product development so some areas of their platform are slightly limited but they are very open to feedback and putting things on the roadmap for development.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better transpency into what we want to buy, the designs, and to build larger overall packages for our team and our clients.  Other vendors are more old school with just a ton of back and forth emailing.  SwagUp allows us to manage it all through a login, build our own products, store them easily, then ship them out when we need to.  It is much easier to manage and allows us to operate at a higher level than what we were doing previously.  It took 6 months of back and forth emails with a typical provider to do what we were able to do with SwagUp in one afternoon.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

Swagup has a great selection of items and integrates with Shopify. I like that there is a quick turn around time for mockups and I am able to easily provide quick feedback about any changes.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

I have expereinced some issues with products not syncing properly with Shopify. When these problems arrise I am able to quickly get in contact with customer service but once I am in contact with them they have not been quick to provide a solution.

Ability to have items held in a central warehouse, and shipped as needed direct to employees. Easy ordering and good support in purchasing. Also love the integration with our HR system Rippling where I can automatically ship new employees swag on their start date. One less thing I have to think about.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Just that some product pricing is a bit higher than other places but it is due to the extra costs to store products on our behlaf.

Proving swag to employees, investors and others. Also in the distribution of swag to the team.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

Best thing about SwagUp? Without a doubt, the fixed shipping rates, even internationally. As a low-volume supplier, I hate that shipping has typically cost way more than the value of the items I'm sending. I also used to hate that shipping was an unknown. SwagUp has this covered. Clear, simple shipping pricing - and I can buy credits in advance. Easy.  Add to that polite, helpful & responsive customer support, a good choice of products and an easy online dashboard to use - my swag life is super simple and that makes me happy.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Downside, currently no integration with Assembly (which would be awesome) - but I know that they are working on it. (Thanks to the Founder reaching out for direct feedback - which I was happy to provide.)

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get branded gifts, packaged well, sent to my network of contractors and suppliers, simply, easily, and cost effectively. They arrive looking good. Everyone's happy.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

When things were working, it was a pretty low friction way to send swag to our users. We were generally happy with the product quality.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

An attractive feature for us was the ability to send our users redeem links, so we wouldn't need their address. This took way longer to set up than we expected. Then one day they randomly deactivated our redeem system, while leaving the pages live for users to enter their data into. It took an inventory review on our side to determine there was more in stock than there should be to get them to look into the issue.

Oh, and they're happy to announce pricing changes with one days notice.

Would not recommend.

Swagup saves having a warehouse full of stuff, collecting addresses, and mailing things out. 

Of course they might break their own software and stop mailing things out, or change their pricing with your inventory in their warehouse.

We really enjoyed creating our own swag and using the entire experience online. We had control of every step of the way and visbility to all aspects from shipping to pricing. I also personally love the ability to ship swag to our team members which are all remotely and international.

I can't find anything I dislike about the company or the experience

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team is fully remote and international, which makes Swag distribution a nightmare. SwagUp allowed us to handle everything with simple experience. We can also rely on Swagup for other Swag distribution for new and existing customers.

SwagUp was very easy to use and any issues that I ran into were promtply taken care of by my account rep, Meg Schippe.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

The smaller items, like the stickers, pens, keychain, etc., were down at the bottom of the box mixed in with the shredded paper, so I am having to open all the boxes and reshuffle things around prior to handing them out. We are taking the smaller items and putting them in the big tumbler we ordered to secure them.

I have had a great experience with SwagUp. Their customer service is top-notch, they provide various high-quality products that change throughout the year (I love having new items to choose from!), and the production process is quick and efficient. The designs they help create always show a high degree of thought and intentionality. I love that products can be stored at the SwagUp facility and shipped out directly to individuals--it's saved my team a ton of time and money. The website is also a complete breeze, with an attractive and intuitive UI. I highly recommend SwagUp to anyone looking to order custom swag for their company or team.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

I can't think of anything that I don't like about SwagUp.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our employees love branded swag, and until now we haven't had a reliable swag vendor that we could use and consistently receive high-quality products. SwagUp is filling that gap, and keeping our employees happy. Additionally, SwagUp's option to store items in their facility and manage the individual shipment process themselves is incredible and has saved myself and my team a ton of time and money.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

While their solution is good for either remote teams or offices, I REALLY enjoyed how easy it was for our fully remote company to receive their package in +20 countries. This would have been a real nightmare without Swag Up.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Before their latest release, I would have said that I disliked keeping track of the delivery information for each employee which we used to do via a Typeform, then excel, and then to their platform. BUT, they recently launched an "Autoship" link which we send directly to our new joiners, they fill up all their delivery details which go straight to their platform and automatically deliver the package to them. It is as amazing as it sounds, so I don't have anything I dislike.

Team branding for a fully remote team in +20 countries. We were able to send them not only t-shirts and sweaters with our logos to use from home, but also cute items to use such as good water bottles, stickers, and passport holders.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

We were a small company when we started our partnership (50 employees) in 2020 and they have grown with us (200 employees)! 

It has been a consistent, seamless experience. When I first started working with SwagUp, I relied heavily on our account manager for suggestions, additional products to be added to our dashboard, and changes to our art / icon/color that happened quickly. Since we’ve grown, I’ve been able to work more efficiently on my own, and I like that everything is user -friendly and accessible on their dashboard. We have multiple department heads that utilize the offering now. 

We use SwagUp to boost employees' happiness by welcoming new hires with boxes and celebrating work anniversaries and holiday gifts. We are a remote workforce, and we love the pre-packed branded swag boxes that are stored for us in their warehouse. It is a lifesaver!!

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

Any request or confusion we have is usually short -lived. Our account manager is quick and attentive. We are specific with our company's colors, and it doesn't always turn out the same shade (it still looks nice, tho). Having more of a detailed description of products would be helpful at times.

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

SwagUp is the right blend of attention to detail, quality products, and convenient service. I love that they warehouse our swag, pack, and deliver. They carry high-end brands, so my contacts know we aren't sending junk. I appreciate the ability to track shipments, manage my orders, and get branded swag stocked in the dashboard without calling a representative. Whenever we've had questions or issues with orders, they have responded quickly. I love having a dedicated salesperson to reach out to as needed, too.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

You get what you pay for, and SwagUp isn't always "cheap," but I also don't want low-quality swag. That being said, for the investment, I would like to customize the card included when sending the big branded box. The branded box is our high-end swag offering, so being able to send something a little more customized on a package that is worth over $200 seems like the right thing to do. I've sent my recommendation and received a response that they are working on this, so I'm happy to anxiously wait for this added benefit.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My only concern is having a customized or personalized card in the branded box shipments. When adding shipments to my account, if I have had any questions or concerns, the chat and email support has been fantastic and quick to help resolve any questions.

I loved the overall product with a good collection of products, easy customization, and quick support. Their backend is really intuitive and fast.

We wanted to send Christmas gifts to our clients in the US.  They did not complete the production even 45 days after placing the order. In between when our team tried to reach out for fast delivery, they clearly tried to upsell through their so-called "Fast production charges". A day before the holidays they gave an update that since their team is going on holiday, it could be in the process in the first week of Jan' 23. Guess what? The first week of January is about to be over and they have not completed production yet. 

Suggestion: I understand you want to upsell your services but that doesn't mean you can delay the orders for existing clients.

I ordered one for myself and it arrived looking great!

I would love to be able to order apparel in very small quantities, but I realize that it's not economically feasible in all cases. Sizes are difficult to manage for us and we have people who want different items.

There are three things that I like best about SwagUp. One is the ease of creating a box. I know exactly what is in it and all the details at once, and I can easily choose the exact vibe I want. There are a lot of options too, which is nice.
The second thing that I like best about SwagUp is how responsive and helpful their team is. I had to order some beautiful sweatshirts that were not available in a color I needed. Their team found a sweatshirt that was exactly what I wanted, quoted it, and gave me updates throughout production. And all of this (besides production) was done in a blink of an eye. 
The third thing that I like best is the user interface. Managing what boxes we have and where they are going is so easy with their dashboards. I also like how you can see the production status for each pack. Also, shipping is so easy now that they let you create groups for your contacts

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

What I dislike is this:
You cannot "clean up" your dashboard easily. If there is a zero quantity of something, it still appears on your dashboard and I find clutter annoying. I'm sure if you talk to your rep they can sort something out but I just dont have the time.
The section of items available for packs is limited. Although their team would be happy to source something for you, it’s a drag when you need something in a flash.
Its hard to find invoices for shipping credits. They are not in the same place as the order invoices. Albeit, if you pay for shipping in advance you wont have this problem.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to not have to think about what and how I am sending customers and clients is a real plus. Drop shipping for the win! It makes it easy to send thank yous or welcome gifts in a flash since SwagUp stores our boxes and will ship them as needed.
They have saved me time and effort, and give me an easy way to make our customers and employees happy

The quality and accuracy of the products are fantastic! We really love the stitching on the Dad Hat and retro backpack. Overall, the products are of a high standard.

The communication to receive what we wanted took roughly 30 back-and-forth emails, much of which was clarifying what we wanted. It would be great to have a more clear picture of what the product dimensions are and how we can print images on certain products  (embodied, screen printed, etc.) But! We got what we wanted, so can't complain too hard.

They are very transparent in mockups, and this has been a problem with other vendors. With SwagUp, they can sometimes over-communicate where your product is in the process, but I find this as a huge answer to a problem we faced with other vendors.

Having to submit a change request and then wait for them to be tailored is inconvenient, a great option for people to have who don't want to do it themselves, but doesn't help people on a time crunch who would do it themselves, or when you want to see how your logo looks between different colors, its time consuming to change each time, only to go back to the original. or how different logo options look on an item.

SwagUp is a great way to automate employee gift packs, particularly if you have people in different offices or working from home, being able to ship to each person individually or in bulk is very convenient.

-The dashboard needs some UX work and usability testing. However, they have shown commitment to improving and testing new designs, and I have seen great improvement even in a short period of time.

-Address/contact forms would benefit from more fields for special instructions (especially when delivering to venues or warehouses).

Big selection of products to choose from, quick to provide proofs to review (although we did not use any of their proofs, they were a bit basic to be honest).

- They lost thousands of dollars of 3rd party swag we sent to them to distribute for us. After weeks of back and forth (support is very slow to respond as are the sales reps after you pay them) they have just said they are not liable and have no resolution. They got very defensive and customer service went out the window. 

-We bought branded boxes and when I sent out a sample box it arrived in a non-branded box, with the branded box inside. No heads up, no explanation. Why did we spend the extra time, energy, and funds on a branded box just for it to be on the inside?

-The communication is not great. There are no alerts to tell you the boxes are ready to be shipped out and I have to constantly ask questions to get any information. 

-The process has taken 6 months so far, and there are a number of issues outstanding that have yet to be resolved.

Overall it seems like a great solution during the sales process, but things will fall apart and will be a complete-time waster once you start working with them.

None, the entire process was full of problems. The project took 6 months and in the end, it was a horrible experience and we are missing thousands of dollars of swag.

Guy Brown Swag boxes. They are so different from swag we have done in the past. This was such an easy process on our end.  Love that the boxes were packaged for us and we could ship some packages to our remote employees individually, as well as a bulk shipment to our HQ office directly from our online dashboard. The boxes turned out so great. The overall process was seamless.

Prices are fair for the high-quality items and they provide good fulfillment options with excellent flat-rate shipping costs for domestic and international addresses; taking the hassle out of manually shipping from a carrier. I most like and appreciate the customer care as our account representative, Dan K is an all-star! He is cordial and quick to respond regardless of the time of day. He goes above and beyond to ensure we have received our orders by deadlines, even if they are rushed, and that we've selected the best quality and products for our budget. I like that SwagUp understands my needs and accurately caters to them. It was my first time ordering branded promotional products for the office. Yet, SwagUp's account executives provided top-notch customer service and guided me through the process every step of the way. In essence, they have "mastered swag packs," so their clients "don't have to." I also really love their values as an organization since they are incredibly similar to mine at heart.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

It's a weird thing to say, but their popularity can be both a blessing and a curse. SwagUp.com always seems busy and bursting with clients, which means that it can take a while for their customer service teams to get back to you with answers. Also, it's advisable to never order swag around the holidays from these folks (or any swag company, to be honest) because there will inevitably be delays in arrival times, especially with supply chain shortages (but that's to be expected these days).

The process of finding and procuring branded merchandise and putting those items together in a swag pack can be stressful and time-consuming. We chose SwagUp because of its easy to use platform, its variety of product and its flexibility. I liked that someone was assigned to our account and worked with me all the way to the finish line to ensure our satisfaction. That rep was able to answer all of my questions and help me navigate the process, but he was also able to get things moving so that we could get all our goods on time. Not only we received the goods on time although we were on a tight timeline, but employees were very satisfied of the quality and the look of the goods. It was a massive success for our event!

As we were having a company offsite in-person event, we wanted everybody to have souvenirs from this event, something that they would bring back home and that would look good, last long, be useful and would have our company logo on it. We ended up going for Branded T-Shirts, Bottles and socks (everybody LOVED the socks, they were just the coolest!)

**What do you like best about SwagUp?**

I liked having a dedicated contact at SwagUp to help me through the process, from selecting items, to design, to shipping.

**What do you dislike about SwagUp?**

I felt as though some of the costs (certain items, shipping, warehousing, etc) were a bit high.

**What problems is SwagUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SwagUp is solving the problem of customizing, warehousing, and shipping swag to customers.  It is benefitting us by giving us back space and time.
