What do you like best about SurveyLegend?

What I like best about SurveyLegend is how simple it is to create clean internal surveys to gather team feedback while we refine our finance workflows. I’m the Financial Operations Coordinator at Prime Peak Financial Group. Our small financial services team relies on everyone’s input to find bottlenecks and keep our day-to-day finance work running smoothly. Before SurveyLegend, I was stuck using really basic survey tools. Those forms looked generic, and teammates just weren’t eager to fill them out.

I can put together professional surveys really quickly with SurveyLegend, and I don’t need any design background to do it. A good example is that quarterly workflow feedback survey I built a couple months back. I added rating scales and open text boxes so the team could share honest thoughts about our month-end close and cross-team handoffs. I also set up simple conditional logic. If someone flagged a process as troublesome, extra follow-up questions would pop up to capture more details. Everything stayed neat and professional, which really matters working in financial services.

Sharing the survey link with the team couldn’t be easier. I just drop the link during our team syncs and in our internal chat. People can respond straight from their browser, no complicated login required. Our response rates actually improved once we switched over, because teammates told me it felt quick and hassle-free to complete.

I’m also a big fan of the built-in summary reports. I no longer need to manually copy every response into spreadsheets. SurveyLegend compiles all the ratings and surfaces recurring comments automatically. Whenever I need to go over results with our operations lead and propose process changes, I can pull those summaries in just minutes.

SurveyLegend doesn’t load us up with fancy marketing features we’ll never use for internal finance feedback. It simply delivers solid survey creation and dependable data collection. It cuts down so much repetitive admin work for me. That leaves me more time to coordinate team workflows, follow up on active finance projects, and optimize our daily operations instead of spending ages chasing people for feedback. What do you dislike about SurveyLegend?

While SurveyLegend is great for quick, simple internal surveys, it has a few noticeable downsides that make my workflow trickier as a Financial Operations Coordinator at Prime Peak Financial Group.

The biggest issue I deal with regularly is its lack of advanced data filtering. Since I collect team feedback on our monthly financial workflows and process efficiency, I often need to sort responses by department, task type, or feedback priority. But SurveyLegend’s filtering tools are really basic. I can only do simple overall sorting, with no way to cross-filter results. Last month, I ran a company-wide operational feedback survey to identify pain points in our expense review and report filing processes. I wanted to separate feedback from our finance team versus admin staff, but the platform wouldn’t let me do that directly. I had to export all raw data and manually sort entries in Excel, which added so much extra busywork.

Another annoying limitation is the lack of granular survey access control. All our internal operational feedback contains sensitive internal process details, so I need to keep responses private within our core operations team. Right now, anyone with the survey link can view submitted results, and I can’t lock it down to only specific team members. What problems is SurveyLegend solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we started using SurveyLegend, collecting team feedback on our finance workflows was pretty scattered. I’m the Financial Operations Coordinator at Prime Peak Financial Group, and a big part of my job is keeping our internal team aligned, tracking ongoing projects, and looking for ways to make day-to-day financial operations run more smoothly. Back then, I relied on shared docs and long email threads to gather everyone’s input. Responses were inconsistent, a few teammates would forget to weigh in, and I ended up spending far too much time following up after every review cycle just to get complete feedback.
