"Blazing Fast, Customizable, and Effortless Coding Experience"
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

I really appreciate Sublime Text for its impressive speed and distraction-free environment, while still being incredibly powerful. Its multi-cursor editing is unmatched, and the high level of customization makes it stand out. Plus, it runs smoothly on every operating system I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

We need a plugin for Git integration in it. While its plugin ecosystem and Git integration are not as comprehensive as those found in VS Code, this actually helps keep Sublime uncluttered and exceptionally fast. Although updates are less frequent, this contributes to greater stability and consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Quiet, Fast, Dependable Editor That Lets You Focus on the Craft of Coding"
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

What I enjoy most about Sublime Text is how it stays invisible in the best possible way. It opens instantly, handles huge files without hesitation, and never interrupts my workflow with pop-ups, extensions, or nags. The multi-cursor editing is still one of the most elegant features I've used -- being able to refactor patterns across an entire file with just a few keystrokes feels like a superpower. I also appreciate how minimal the interface is, it gives you a blank canvas that feels calm, not crowded. For quick experiments, scratch, code, or reviewing logs, nothing matched its speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

Sublime's simplicity is a strength, but it also means you end up doing more setup if you want deep integrations. Some plugins rely on manual configuration, and discovering the right combination of packages takes longer than I'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Lightweight Editor That Stays Out of Your Way and Lets You Think in Code."
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

What I like most is how instant everything feels. sublime launches faster than any other editor I've used -- even with large projects. There's zero friction: open the editor, search across, hundreds of files, jump between functions, and start coding immediately. The Goto Anything command is still unmatched for fast navigation. I also appreciate how customisable it is without being noisy, I can tune my environment exactly how I like it, but Sublime never overwhelms me with pop ups or built in clutter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

Because Sublime keeps a minimal philosophy, some newer developers feel lost without more visual guidance. The built in Git support is improving, but still not a deep as tools like like VS Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight and Versatile Text Editor That Stands Out"
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

There are dozens of text editors available, but Sublime offers something different. It's lightweight, highly functional, and supports all formats and encodings. In many ways, it feels like a simplified version of Visual Studio Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

The workspace management could use some improvement, as the current system feels rather disorganized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient, Lightweight, and Customizable Code Editor"
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

Sublime Text stands out for its exceptional speed and performance, even when handling large files or complex projects. The editor's extensibility through its robust plugin ecosystem allows developers to customize their workflow to match their exact needs. What truly sets it apart is its intuitive interface that strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and power, making it accessible to beginners while offering advanced features that experienced developers appreciate. The combination of lightning-fast response times, extensive customization options, and a clean, distraction-free interface makes Sublime Text an invaluable tool for daily coding tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

While Sublime Text excels in many areas, it falls short in several key aspects. The most significant limitation is its lack of built-in collaboration features, making it challenging for teams working on shared projects in real-time. Additionally, the absence of advanced debugging tools means developers often need to rely on external applications or plugins, which can disrupt workflow efficiency. The update frequency is notably slower compared to competitors like VS Code, resulting in delayed support for newer programming languages and frameworks. The licensing model, while fair, can be confusing with its evaluation period. Furthermore, the plugin ecosystem, while extensive, sometimes lacks consistency in quality and maintenance, leading to compatibility issues with newer versions. "Light weight code editor"
What do you like best about Sublime Text?

Sublime Text has been my trusted editor for years, and I still enjoy how smooth and fast it feels. It’s lightweight but surprisingly powerful once you add extensions. The interface is simple and distraction-free, which helps me focus on coding without unnecessary clutter. I especially like the multiple cursor and split editing features, which save a lot of time when working with large projects. Whether I’m writing Python scripts, Java programs, or doing front-end work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, it handles everything without lag. It’s reliable and consistent, which is why I’ve stuck with it for so long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sublime Text?

The editor doesn’t come with many built-in integrations, so you have to depend on community add-ons. Compared to tools like VS Code, collaboration features and frequent updates are a bit limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
