"Studio 3T is a great tool for MongoDB"

What do you like best about Studio 3T?

I love the visual query builder feature in Studio 3T. It makes it very easy to query without having to write MongoDB queries. I also love how easy it is to drill down into documents. It has a new UI/interface which makes it easy to see elements. I also love the options from right-clicking on elements. For example, I can just delete or copy one specific field in the UI instead of the whole document. That makes it really convenient. I also love that Studio 3T shows you the MongoDB query that you created when you use the visual query builder feature. It is very nice to be able to see the real MongoDB query code, and it makes it easier to code in applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Studio 3T?

I dislike that sometimes there are issues with copying/pasting documents. I also dislike that sometimes, there are errors that are hard to understand and debug. I think it also has issues with Azure Cosmos DB which is not exactly like MongoDB. I also dislike that it does not have very advanced capabilities to help me construct MongoDB queries. I wish it was easier to construct MongoDB queries that are very complex and involve complicated queries. I also dislike that it is not free to use. I wish it had a free license instead of a paid license, because I get worried that my company might stop paying for our licenses when there are other free options like Mongo Compass. Recommendations to others considering Studio 3T:

I highly recommend Studio 3T if you are using MongoDB. It is very powerful and useful. Studio 3T is also very easy to use! I advise that you take advantage of the visual query builder feature tool. What problems is Studio 3T solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems I am solving with Studio 3T are viewing and modifying data in MongoDB. It is extremely easy to use and has a good interface. The benefits I enjoy are getting connection strings from my db connections. That is very convenient and makes it much easier to share the connection strings with other users and team members.
