At FinanzControl Berlin GmbH, Streem's audit trail functionality is its biggest shortcoming. The system logs can be altered retroactively, which fails GoBD tamper-proof standards. It also occasionally misassigns complex multi-vendor payments during auto-matching. Our junior accountants waste considerable time correcting mismatched entries and generating separate offline audit records. We cannot solely rely on its outputs when preparing files for Finanzamt tax audits. Additionally, setting up compliance configuration was troublesome, as there are no built-in presets for GoBD requirements, so we had to spend extra time designing manual backup-log workflows.
