## About Streak
Streak is a CRM built directly inside Gmail — not a sidebar, not a browser extension backed by a separate app. It runs natively in your inbox, so your team tracks deals, manages contacts, and runs pipelines without switching tabs or logging into another tool. Pipeline management works in a spreadsheet-style grid inside Gmail. Every deal, contact, and relationship lives in a customizable pipeline with stages you define to maintain structured data and processes. Manage your sales, hiring, investor outreach, fundraising, partnerships, and more — all from the same system. Streak logs emails automatically. Every conversation with a contact is captured to the right deal or pipeline record, so the full history is always visible. Shared pipelines give your whole team visibility into who's talking to who and where things stand. AI features are built into the workflow. AI autofill pulls data from your email history and web research to populate CRM fields. AI-generated pipelines build stages and fields from a plain-language description. AI actions trigger inside automations, so a pipeline event can kick off a multi-step workflow without manual updates. Core email tools are included on all plans: email tracking, mail merge, email templates, and email sharing. Best for: sales teams, talent agencies, marketing agencies, real estate agents, nonprofits, and any team that runs their business from Gmail and wants a CRM that actually gets used.

## Streak Reviews
 ### 1. Seamlessly Integrates with Gmail for Effortless Project Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gazmire B. | Consumer Research Specialist, Market Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Streak?**

As a Consumer Research Specialist focused on sensory analysis and product optimization, Streak’s native Gmail integration is its biggest strength. It blends right into our daily email workflow without creating extra hurdles. The custom pipeline tool is indispensable for our team; we built dedicated workflows to cover the full lifecycle of our research projects, from client inquiries and expert panel recruitment to sensory testing, data review and final report handover. We can oversee all ongoing client studies visually at a glance and quickly identify tasks that fall behind schedule. The setup process was fast and intuitive too. The drag-and-drop pipeline editor let us tailor layouts to our needs in minutes. Our team picked up all core functions with no formal training, so we began managing projects with Streak the very same day.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

Streak falls short in a few key areas for professional market research work. Its built-in reporting tools are fairly basic, with no options for detailed visual analytics. To compile project progress, testing metrics and team workload data, we have to export raw information to spreadsheets for further analysis. The selection of advanced custom fields is also restricted. We need to record intricate details such as panel member lists, product specs and testing parameters for sensory research, but the limited field types make it hard to organize complex research data cleanly and systematically.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Streak, our project data, client conversations and research notes were spread across separate emails and spreadsheets, making information hard to locate. This tool consolidates all communications and project milestones within Gmail, keeping the full context of every research study accessible to the whole team. It streamlines our end-to-end research workflows, cuts down time wasted on scattered records and greatly boosts team collaboration and overall work efficiency.

 ### 2. Customer tracking without leaving Gmail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristina J. | Principal CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Streak?**

We are two people in Madrid doing web development and consulting, and my day is basically having Gmail open for 8 hours. We used to manage leads in Trello + a spreadsheet that we updated "when we remembered," which was almost never. We tried Streak a bit out of desperation.
What hooked me is the obvious: it lives inside Gmail. You don't have to open another tab or paste the email context somewhere else; it's the same screen you're already on. For me, that has been the difference between having a CRM and not having one.
We have three pipelines: sales, ongoing projects, and support. Dragging an email to a stage takes half a second, and that half a second matters when you're the one who has to keep the system alive. I use email tracking daily; knowing that the client opened the proposal three times on Tuesday tells me much more than asking "did you receive it?" The snippets too, I use them for initial presentations and those kinds of things you write 40 times a month.
The integration with Google Workspace works without having to touch anything weird. Exporting to Sheets has saved us for custom analysis when native reports weren't enough. The AI "magic columns" automatically extract data from the email (amounts, dates, contacts) and put them in the pipeline without copying and pasting, that's useful.
Performance is almost always good. When the pipelines have hundreds of boxes, Gmail takes a bit longer to load when opening it. It doesn't block, but you notice it.
The Pro plan seems fair compared to HubSpot or Salesforce, which for us would be overkill. The free version allows you to truly try it before paying, which is appreciated. We did the onboarding ourselves in an afternoon, without a call with anyone from Customer Success.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

The fact that it's only a Chrome extension is what limits us the most. If you open Streak from your mobile or another browser, you basically don't have a CRM. The mobile app exists but is quite limited compared to the desktop version, and you notice that when you're out and need to check something quickly.
The integrations also fall short for us. It works great with Google Workspace, but outside of that, you have to rely on Zapier for almost everything, and that's more things to maintain. When the pipeline grows, it's not exactly fast either: you notice some slowness when opening Gmail if you have many boxes, it doesn't block but you wait a couple of extra seconds.
The reports are basic, for serious analysis we end up exporting to Sheets. And the higher plans take quite a big price jump, you think twice before upgrading. For us, none of this is a dealbreaker, but it's good to know if you're coming from a more complete CRM.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we had emails in Gmail, the project status in another tool, and business data in a spreadsheet, and nothing ever matched up. We lost leads simply because we forgot to follow up, which is quite frustrating when you're so small and every client counts. Now each client or deal is a box within Gmail with their associated emails, and we can see in one view where it stands and what remains pending.
Email tracking has significantly changed our follow-up process. Knowing when a client opens a proposal changes the way you move: instead of sending a "how's it going" blindly, you write when you know they're looking. Less time chasing cold leads and more focus on those who are truly interested.
Snippets also save us a lot. We reuse frequent responses (introduction, terms, calendar links) and just that alone saves us several hours a week that we used to spend writing the same thing twenty times.
In the end, what we gain is real visibility of the business status without leaving the email, which for a small company with many clients in parallel is just what you need.

 ### 3. Effortless CRM Management and Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Streak?**

I like the ease of use with Streak, especially the fact that there's a plugin right in my inbox. It's just way too easy to use, making it a no-brainer for me to throw things into where they need to go quickly. The integration is the most helpful thing.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

I don't like the pull. It sometimes makes my Gmail account lag, just the pure presence of it. I think it's analyzing behind the scenes, so sometimes I've actually disabled it, to be completely honest, when I knew that I wasn't going to be using it.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Streak for Gmail to easily add CRM notes and contacts, helping me stay organized. It's been a huge benefit with its ease of use and inbox integration, making it simple to keep my team informed and manage tasks.

Nothing as of now. I really enjoy using streak and it is very helpful.

 ### 6. Solid CRM for anyone who lives in Gmail

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Streak?**

Streak fits into how I already work. Because it lives in Gmail, I don’t have to switch tools to manage deals or follow-ups. Pipelines are simple to build, and updates happen naturally as emails come in. It keeps things organized without adding overhead.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

When pipelines get bigger or more complex, the reporting options feel limited. I often want more customization or a deeper analytics view. It is not a blocker, but it is the first place where the product feels constrained.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streak keeps my pipeline and follow-ups organized inside the tool I already use most, which is Gmail. I do not have to manage a separate CRM or worry about logging activity after the fact. Emails automatically stay tied to the right deals, which reduces dropped threads and saves time. It helps me stay on top of partnerships, vendor conversations, and ongoing projects without adding another system to maintain.

 ### 7. Simple CRM inside Gmail for managing leads and emails

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Streak?**

I like how Streak works directly within Gmail, so I don’t have to switch between tools to manage emails and pipelines. It’s useful for monitoring a conversation, managing leads, and following up directly from the inbox. The design is straightforward and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

Sometimes it can feel a bit limited compared to full CRM solutions, particularly when dealing with large pipelines. Also, the interface within Gmail can be slightly clustered when there are too many threads or data points.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streak can be used to sort email conversations and track leads without using a separate CRM. It simplifies the process of follow-ups and keeps everything in one place, which saves time and prevents the loss of important emails.

 ### 8. Accurate Email Tracking with Easy Setup

Streak provides accurate metrics most of the time, which I find valuable. Additionally, I like Streak's lightweight nature because it's less laggy and saves me time. The setup was pretty easy, and I didn't face any issues.

**What do you dislike about Streak?**

Sometimes it shows link click data inaccurately.

**What problems is Streak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streak helps me track email open rates and clicks, organize leads, and schedule follow-up emails. This helps me figure out which leads are warm or cold and increases the chances of my emails being opened. The segmentation feature is also useful.
