What do you like best about Strac?

Our use AI, Claude in particular, and once we started connecting it to their business apps through MCP, an obvious question came up: what sensitive data is actually flowing into the AI? Strac's MCP DLP addresses that directly. It sits in the path between Claude and the connected apps, detects sensitive data, and redacts it before it reaches the model, so teams can keep the productivity gains without taking on unnecessary exposure.

We also rolled out Strac's Claude Compliance API integration for several clients. It gives us visibility into Claude activity across the organization, flags sensitive data in conversations and files, and provides the compliance oversight our clients need for enterprise AI use. Together, these two capabilities cover both sides of the problem: data moving through MCP connectors, and what’s happening inside Claude itself.

We’ve deployed both across multiple clients, and they’ve been straightforward to roll out and manage. The Strac team has also been responsive and quick to turn feedback into features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strac?

Strac has a very comprehensive data security platform across SaaS, Cloud, MCP, Browsers and Endpoints. It makes sense as data is across all these environments. So nothing negative here but we really need to prioritize the rollout of each module with our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Strac solving and how is that benefiting you?

We evaluated Nightfall first, but it didn't solve the problem we actually had: sensitive data leaking into AI through MCP connectors. Strac did, and the Compliance API integration added the visibility and audit trail our clients' security and compliance teams were asking for. Now our teams and our clients don't have to worry about sensitive data ending up in AI models, and we can roll out Claude with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
