Our organization started using Square Payments as an easy and accessible way to enable us to accept card payments during events and in-person activations. As a volunteer-run non-profit organization, we didn't have the infrastructure and resources to operate traditional payment terminals. Square's original 3.5mm card reader made it incredibly easy and cost-effective to turn any phone into a payment gateway. Today, Square powers our online merch store and website's payment gateway. It offers the flexibility and easy-to-use tools that help us deliver services and products without worrying about the cost of setting up a more complicated and expensive system.
