What do you like best about SquadCast?

I help produce a podcast, and nearly every interview is virtual. The host doesn't have a studio where people come to record, and as many of the guests live in different countries around the world, we have to record virtually.

With Zoom recordings, it was nearly impossible to mix the podcasts properly, as the audio came out in one file and there were often connection issues.

Squadcast records high-quality video and audio for each participant on their end, making it very easy to mix podcasts, publish them, and take high-quality video clips to make social media videos.

This has made podcasting so much easier compared to recording Zoom calls and taking the audio from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SquadCast?

Every so often, the app will glitch or freeze when trying to initiate a call. There were a few times where we had minor issues getting the recording started with new guests and having them join the call, but it never interfered with the actual recording once things got started. What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?

We like to record podcasts, be able to mix each audio file individually, and get high-quality videos to make social media clips and promotions. With Zoom, the quality suffered on both video and audio, and was all mixed in one file. I love that Squadcast records each participant separately, which has resulted in very high-quality recordings, even if the internet connection wasn't the strongest.
