I help produce a podcast, and nearly every interview is virtual. The host doesn't have a studio where people come to record, and as many of the guests live in different countries around the world, we have to record virtually.
With Zoom recordings, it was nearly impossible to mix the podcasts properly, as the audio came out in one file and there were often connection issues.
Squadcast records high-quality video and audio for each participant on their end, making it very easy to mix podcasts, publish them, and take high-quality video clips to make social media videos.
This has made podcasting so much easier compared to recording Zoom calls and taking the audio from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every so often, the app will glitch or freeze when trying to initiate a call. There were a few times where we had minor issues getting the recording started with new guests and having them join the call, but it never interfered with the actual recording once things got started.
