What do you like best about Spotlight Reporting?

I was looking for a software to take shareholders meeting the next level and Spotlight has delivered. Pros<ul><li>Time saving, no more Excel spreadsheets to balance.</li><li>Easy to use compared to other software I tried.</li><li>Mapping of P&L accounts enables us to adjust the presentation based on each client needs.</li><li>Variety of choices for columns in order to compare your P&L results. It enables us to have strategic conversations in monthly meetings.</li><li>Automation for monthly comments so we can focus on adding value to our report.</li><li>Possibility to adapt the setting of the reports to our branding or the client’s.</li></ul> Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spotlight Reporting?

- It would be great to have more mapping options for the balance sheet to enable us to calculate key ratios. - Many manufacturing clients with Shopify would benefit from having an API to easily derive common ratios in their respective industry. What problems is Spotlight Reporting solving and how is that benefiting you?

My main goal was to stop using Excel spreadsheets for monthly reporting in order to make the monthly process more efficient and have more time to analyze data. In Excel, you have to manually update your numbers and validate every time, with Spotlight, you can import your numbers easily knowing that it will balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
