when it actually worked, the cinematic quality was unreal. i could type "aerial shot of a cyberpunk city at dusk with rain" and get something that looked like it cost thousands in vfx. the audio sync in sora 2 was surprisingly good too footsteps matched the ground, dialogue lined up with lip movements. for short social clips and concept pitches it was magic. just a shame its gone now. the hands were always broken. every single time. fingers merging into each other, extra limbs appearing out of nowhere. complex human motion was a gamble sometimes it looked great, sometimes people moved like they were underwater. also 10-20 second clips max meant you couldnt tell a real story, just make pretty vignettes. and the content guardrails were way too strict, blocked half my prompts for no reason.
