What do you like best about Sophos MDR?

We run Intercept X with EDR and XDR, Email Security, Endpoint Protection, and MDR, all managed from a single console, enabling integration across services. The MDR service provides 24/7 monitoring and response that a small IT team couldn’t provide on its own, and their analysts are responsive and knowledgeable. What do you dislike about Sophos MDR?

I do not have anything at this time. The MDR has been great for detecting and investigating potential issues. Their team is very knowledgeable and quick to react. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sophos MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sophos MDR solves the biggest gap small IT teams face: we can’t monitor the environment 24/7. As a college, we have staff and students logging in at all hours from different devices and locations, and threats don’t wait for business hours. MDR gives us a dedicated team of analysts who monitor and respond around the clock, so suspicious activity gets investigated and contained even when we’re off the clock. It also reduces alert fatigue. Instead of my team sifting through every alert, Sophos triages them, separates real threats from noise, and takes action or tells us exactly what needs attention. That frees us to focus on supporting our staff, students, and academic programs rather than constantly reacting. The biggest benefit is peace of mind. We get enterprise-level detection and response without having to build and staff our own security operations center, which would be out of reach for an organization our size.
