What do you like best about Sopact?

I have used Sopact Sense as part of my consulting work in programme evaluation and impact assessment. For a nonprofit client, I used it for a socio-economic survey and an employer survey, including data collection and analysis.

I found Sopact Sense easy to use, with a clear and intuitive interface. The bilingual option was particularly useful because beneficiaries could select their preferred language, and the form was displayed in that language. This made it easier for them to understand the questions and complete the survey. The validation features also helped improve the quality and consistency of the data collected.

I also found the AI-enabled translation within the platform very useful. It helped translate the responses for analysis, reducing the need for manual translation and making it easier to generate meaningful insights from the data. What do you dislike about Sopact?

One limitation I have found is that the analysis on the platform works best when the data is collected through Sopact. When I have data collected through other systems, it is not as easy to bring it into the same analysis workflow.

However, the Sopact team has been very responsive and helpful. They helped me find a workaround so that I could bring the data into the platform and complete the analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Sopact:

I would recommend Sopact to organisations working on programme evaluation and impact assessment. In my experience, it is particularly useful when you need to collect information from different groups, manage beneficiary-level data, and bring the data together for analysis. The multilingual capability is especially useful because beneficiaries can select their preferred language, while the platform supports translation of responses for analysis. This reduces the need for manual translation and makes it easier to work with the data. The platform also generates reports from the collected data that can be directly consumed by programme teams for decision-making. This can save a significant amount of time in moving from data collection to analysis, reporting and use of insights.

I also see potential for using Sopact in grant and scholarship management, where applications could be collected and filtered against defined criteria to make the initial screening process more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sopact solving and how is that benefiting you?

As part of my consulting work at MIRA Impact Consulting, I used Sopact Sense for a socio-economic survey and an employer survey for a nonprofit client, including data collection and analysis through the platform.

In this work, I collected and managed data from different respondent groups using Sopact Sense. I was able to collect the information, link it to respondents, and bring it together for analysis. Having the data structured within Sopact Sense reduced the time I needed to spend on data cleaning and preparation before analysis. This helped me move more quickly from data collection to analysis and generate insights for programme evaluation and decision-making.
