## Sneek Reviews
  ### 1. Quick Remote Team Visibility with an Easy-to-Use Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharamveer p. | Application Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

I use Sneek as part of a distributed team to maintain visibility and improve communication throughout the workday. What I like most is the ability to quickly see which team members are available without having to send multiple messages or schedule unnecessary meetings. The snapshot view provides a simple way to stay connected with colleagues, especially when teams are working across different locations. It helps create a more collaborative environment while keeping communication lightweight.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

While the platform is easy to use, some new users may need time to get comfortable with the snapshot-based visibility approach. There are also times when I would like more customization options for notifications and workspace preferences. Aside from that, the overall experience has been smooth and reliable.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges with remote work is knowing when colleagues are available and reducing communication delays. Sneek helps solve this by providing real-time visibility into team availability. In our workflow, this has reduced the need for frequent status check messages and made it easier to start discussions when someone is available. As a result, communication is more efficient, collaboration is faster, and the team stays connected without relying heavily on meetings.

  ### 2. Wall of Faces Makes Remote Robotics Collaboration Feel Like the Same Lab

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishnakant R. | Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

The 'wall of faces' feature is incredibly helpful for our college robotics team. When we are working remotely on different modules of an ESP32 or Arduino project, I can instantly see who is available at their desk. If I get stuck on a wiring issue or a C++ bug, I can just click a teammate's photo to start an instant video chat without the hassle of scheduling a formal meeting or sending links. It makes remote hardware collaboration feel like we are all sitting in the same college lab.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

The constant camera snapshots can feel a bit intrusive when I need to concentrate. If I am intensely trying to debug a tricky piece of C++ code for my microcontroller projects or just cramming for my engineering exams, having my webcam regularly take pictures makes me feel a bit self-conscious. It can also be distracting to see the 'wall of faces' updating constantly in the background. I often have to rely heavily on the pixelated privacy mode or just set myself to 'busy' so I do not feel like I am being watched while I study.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we can't meet up in the college lab, it solves the huge problem of trying to explain hardware issues over text. If someone on the team is struggling with the wiring on a color sensor or getting an ESP8266 to connect to the web server, typing out the solution is a nightmare. Sneek lets us instantly jump on a quick video call to physically show the breadboard or screen-share the code. It keeps our robotics projects moving forward without having to schedule formal meetings just to fix a small bug.

  ### 3. User-Friendly Platform for Instant Video Calls and Real-Time Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

I love this platform as it can make work from home essentially more productive with its active presence of colleague or teammates on this platform. It ensures real time like interaction by just clicking on the individuals whom we want to connect. Video calls can be done instantly in this platform with just a click ensuring more better communication between the teams. The best part about this platform is that it have a user friendly interface and the onboarding was also really easy. Links can also be assign with the google account allowing more easy login process. The availability of apps for this platform ensure more flawless interaction and better user experience while using this platform. The stability of the video feeds also increases. Adding of team members is also really easy by just sending an invitation link.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

I love most part of this platform but for web version of this platform the video feeds in not as smooth as anticipated. Other than this I also wish that having an AI chat for general enquiry and searches would be really useful as user won't need to spend time on opening another tab. The pricing is moderate for small teams but it may escalate beyond the budget for larger teams and Organization. Using this platform I also felt that having more better integration tools would make the user experience better in terms of comfortability and productivity.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform ensures more productivity for work from home or even inside the office. The need to always dial up different individuals when different needs arises is weeded out by this platform as communication can be done with a single click. It also allows us to know who is on the desk and who is not enabling us to decide who is the right person to contact at the specific point of time.

  ### 4. Bringing the Office Feel to Remote Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumisha J. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

Sneek offers a unique way to stay connected with remote teammates by providing a live view of who’s available throughout the day. I like how it creates the feeling of working in the same office without being intrusive, making it easier to start quick conversations and keep the team engaged.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

The always-visible workspace can sometimes feel a bit intrusive, especially when I need uninterrupted focus. Some team members may also have privacy concerns, and overall the platform offers fewer collaboration features than more comprehensive communication tools.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek helps address the lack of visibility and spontaneous interaction that often comes with remote work. It’s easier to see who’s available and to start quick conversations, which helps our team stay connected and collaborate more naturally throughout the day.

  ### 5. Sneek Makes Remote Collaboration Feel Natural, Though Privacy and Integrations Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

What I like best about Sneek is how naturally it helps remote teams stay connected throughout the day without feeling intrusive. The always-on virtual office view makes collaboration feel more spontaneous, and it’s easy to quickly see who’s available for a chat instead of scheduling endless meetings. The interface is clean, lightweight, and simple to adopt, which helped our team get comfortable with it quickly. It also creates more visibility and engagement across distributed teams, making remote work feel more human and collaborative.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

One downside of Sneek is that the always-visible office setup may feel a little too “always on” for some team members, especially those who prefer more privacy while working remotely. There can also be occasional performance or connectivity issues depending on internet stability, and some integrations and customization options are still more limited compared to larger collaboration platforms. While the simplicity is a strength, teams looking for deeper project management or communication features may still need to rely on additional tools.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek is helping solve the communication and visibility gaps that often come with remote work. It makes it much easier to see who’s available, start quick conversations, and recreate some of the spontaneous collaboration you naturally get in an office environment. For our team, that has led to faster communication, stronger team engagement, and less reliance on unnecessary meetings or constant status check-ins. It’s also helped build a stronger sense of connection across remote employees, which improves overall collaboration and team culture.

  ### 6. Natural, Connected Team Communication with Great Day-to-Day Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

What I like most about Sneek is how it makes team communication feel more natural and connected. The platform is straightforward to use and gives the team better visibility into what’s happening day to day, which helps strengthen collaboration during everyday work.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

One area Sneek could improve is that the interface can sometimes feel a bit limited when you’re managing larger teams. A few of the settings also take some time to get used to, but overall it works well for everyday collaboration.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek helps address remote communication gaps by providing clearer visibility into team availability and activity. In day-to-day work, it supports smoother collaboration, cuts down on delays, and makes it easier to stay connected with colleagues throughout the day.

  ### 7. Modernizing team communication is easy using Sneek

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Marketing Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

Sneek helps to improve team connection and collaboration, making teams feel closer thanks to how easily everyone can access the platform and start communicating. The video feed is always streaming, so users don't have to prepare in advance or request access to join a meeting. I appreciate that we can all speak up and share our thoughts during discussions without needing to use a 'raise hand' feature like in other software. Getting instant support from customer service through live chat is excellent—I can explain my issue directly to a human agent and receive a solution right away, instead of waiting several days for an email response. Sneek also offers easy integration with Google Workspace, allowing us to securely share documents and files, and to collaborate on spreadsheets together. Overall, Sneek simplifies group communication and enables us to connect every day without limitations or restrictions.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

It has been several months since the developers released any software updates, and there has been no progress in improving existing features or introducing new ones. The current lack of communication and updates is concerning, and it could be a dealbreaker for some users. We are worried about the possibility that they might shut down operations in the near future.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek helps maintain instant team interaction and fosters a close-knit atmosphere among team members. This is especially valuable for remote workers, as it provides a sense of a shared workspace even when working from different locations. The always-on live video streaming feature allows us to see everyone’s movements, making it a useful tool for administrators to monitor remote worker activity.

  ### 8. Sneek improves connectivity between team, but missing digital whiteboard features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia C. | People analytics governance lead, Civil Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

Sneek helps our hybrid project team stay connected, collaborate, and communicate easily for virtual project discussions. I appreciate how everyone’s webcam is always on, allowing us to talk freely without waiting for our turn, which makes the experience feel much like a face-to-face meeting. The simple implementation, which doesn’t require any software installation on the computer, is excellent—users can access it from anywhere through a web browser. The option to integrate with Google Workspace has greatly enhanced our team’s overall connectivity. If I want to start a private session with another user, I just click on their webcam, and the system requests their approval. All these useful tools, features, and the excellent customer support are the main reasons we rely on this software as our daily communication platform.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

The session does not offer support for digital whiteboard tools, so we have to rely on external software like Miro to access digital collaboration features. It would be much more convenient and consistent with their service if features such as a built-in whiteboard and screen sharing were available.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek enables consistent communication among project teams, which is especially helpful for hybrid teams made up of both remote and in-office workers. It offers easy access and quick connection to video meetings, allowing participants to speak without needing approval. Additionally, it streamlines file transfers between team members.

  ### 9. Suitable platform for instant communication for remote team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silva H. | RevOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

Sneek enables groups of users to communicate and stay connected simultaneously, with everyone’s face displayed together in a single view and the video feed continuously active. If you want a private video session with someone, you can simply click on their name or face, which brings up a permission pop-up inviting them to join. Setting up Sneek is quick and simple—just go to their website, log in to your account, and select the room you wish to join. The entire experience is designed for speed and ease of use, which is why we depend on Sneek for our daily communication and as our main communication hub.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

Customer support is virtually absent when it comes to assisting us with our issues and concerns. Despite sending multiple emails to report bugs, we have not received any responses, and the problems persist. This lack of support is unacceptable and may ultimately be the reason we decide to move to a different solution soon.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek streamlines communication for remote project teams, making it particularly straightforward for groups to collaborate and discuss project specifics via video conferencing. The platform’s dependable file sharing, real-time data updates, and efficient file transfers all help establish Sneek as an excellent choice for teams seeking clear and accurate communication.

  ### 10. Sneek simplified remote team communication, all in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izham R. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Sneek?**

Our team discussions and communication have become much more streamlined since we started using Sneek. It keeps our conversations straightforward, allowing everyone to stay connected in real time without needing to reactivate the session each time we want to talk. Sneek also makes it easy to integrate with Mural, which is the digital whiteboard software we use when discussing project details. So far, customer support has been both helpful and reliable, assisting us with the implementation and installation. The process to get everyone connected was quick and took less than a week. Both our office and remote users rely on Sneek every day.

**What do you dislike about Sneek?**

As the current toolset lacks a digital whiteboard, we have to use external applications like Mural to facilitate visual collaboration during our meetings. I think this feature is likely planned for future updates, but so far, there has been no communication or visible progress about its development.

**What problems is Sneek solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sneek makes communication among group members truly instantaneous, eliminating any waiting time between sessions and removing the need to notify others to join. The always-on video feed lets us start conversations whenever we want, without any restrictions on duration. Additionally, we've had a smooth experience with the internet connection, encountering no problems so far.
